MakeMyTrip's offers wall was carrying 92 cards on 30 August 2026, and eight of them decide what a hotel night costs. Six name a chain — Oyo, Sarovar, Summit, Ginger, Lords — and every one of those six expires on 31 August, a day after this read.

Only two stay offers run into September, and both are codes. Here is every headline, code and expiry as the cards print them.

📅 Update log:
30 Aug 2026 — first published. Every offer name, headline percentage, coupon code and expiry date on this page was read from the offer cards published on makemytrip.com/offers on 30 August 2026, rendered in a headless browser because the page does not serve its cards to a plain fetch. The wall carried 92 cards in total; the eight on this page are the ones naming a hotel chain, a stay rate type or a stay coupon code, and the remaining cards cover flights, buses, cabs, trains, forex and bank tie-ups, which we cover on separate pages. The worked comparisons between a flat percentage and an 'up to' ceiling are our own arithmetic over the published headlines and are described as such. We have not made a booking or applied any of these offers at checkout. We re-read the wall when the September chain offers replace these and log what changes.

Eight stay offers, six of them ending on 31 August

MakeMyTrip's offers wall carried 92 offer cards when we rendered it on 30 August 2026. Eight of them are about where you sleep rather than how you travel: six name a specific hotel chain or rate type, and two are coupon codes that cover stays alongside other bookings. Every headline below is quoted from the offer card as printed.

The calendar is the first thing to read. Six of the eight carry an expiry of 31 August 2026 — one day after this read — and that group includes every chain-specific offer on the wall: Oyo, Sarovar, Summit, Ginger, Lords and the breakfast-inclusive rate offer.

What survives into September is the two coded offers: FIRSTHOMESTAY on homestays and villas to 4 September, and MMTESCAPE, the long-weekend code, to 5 September. If you are booking a stay after this weekend, those two are the live instruments, and we cover MMTESCAPE's full terms on a separate page.

💡 The chain offers have no code on the card. Oyo, Sarovar, Summit, Ginger and Lords are applied on the property page rather than typed at checkout, so you cannot plan around them the way you can around a code — you have to open the property and see whether the rate carries the offer.

Ending 31 August: the six to use this weekend

If you are booking a room in the next twenty-four hours, these are the six with a deadline. The largest headline is Oyo's up to 60 per cent, restricted on its own card to select properties; the largest chain-wide certainty is Ginger's FLAT 15 per cent, which is the same number on every participating property.

Sarovar's up to 40 per cent and Summit's up to 25 per cent are both ranges, so what you see on a given hotel depends on that hotel. The Lords card is different again — it reads extra 10 per cent, meaning it sits on top of whatever the property is already charging rather than describing the total saving.

The breakfast-inclusive offer is the one most people miss. It is a flat 15 per cent, but only on rates that already bundle breakfast, which are usually the more expensive rate on the same room. Fifteen per cent off a higher rate is not automatically cheaper than the room-only rate, and that is worth checking on the property page before you book.

"Up to" and "flat" are two different promises

Six of these eight cards lead with a percentage, and the word in front of the percentage decides what it is worth. Up to is a ceiling: it names the best case on the best property, and every other room sits somewhere below it. Flat is a rate: the same number applies wherever the offer applies at all.

So the wall's biggest number and its most dependable number are not the same offer. Oyo is the biggest at up to 60 per cent, and it is explicitly limited to select properties. Ginger is the most dependable at a flat 15 per cent. On a single booking, a flat 15 per cent can easily beat a 60 per cent ceiling you do not qualify for.

The one card that is neither is Lords. Extra 10 per cent describes a stack on top of the property rate, so it behaves like a flat discount but is quoted against a number that changes by property. In every case, the honest way to compare is to price the same dates on the property page with and without the offer applied.

OfferHeadline shapeWhat the number actually promises
Oyo HotelsUp to 60%A ceiling on select properties - most rooms sit below it
Sarovar Hotels & ResortsUp to 40%A ceiling, property by property
Summit HotelsUp to 25%A ceiling, property by property
Ginger HotelsFLAT 15%The same 15% on every participating property
Breakfast-inclusive staysFLAT 15%The same 15%, but only on rates that include breakfast
Lords Hotels & ResortsExtra 10%Stacked on the property's own rate, not a total
Homestays and villasFLAT 20%The same 20% with code FIRSTHOMESTAY
Worked comparison. On a Rs. 4,000 room night: Ginger's flat 15% takes Rs. 600 off, every time. Oyo's up to 60% takes anywhere from nothing to Rs. 2,400 depending on the property. The ceiling is only worth more if the property you actually want is one of the selected ones — check before you plan a trip around it.

The two codes that still work in September

After 31 August, the stay offers on MakeMyTrip's wall come down to two coupon codes. FIRSTHOMESTAY is a flat 20 per cent on homestays and villas, listed to 4 September 2026 — the highest flat percentage of anything on the stay side of the wall, though it is restricted to the homestay inventory rather than hotels.

MMTESCAPE runs to 5 September 2026 and is the broader of the two: its card covers flights, stays, packages, cabs, buses and trains for the upcoming long weekends. It is the code to hold if your September booking is a mixed trip rather than a hotel on its own.

Neither of these is a chain offer, which is the practical point. If your plan depends on a specific Ginger or Sarovar property, this weekend is the window; if it depends on a date in September, plan around the codes and check the wall again, because MakeMyTrip refreshes chain tie-ups monthly and the ones above have all expired by then.

How we read the offers wall

MakeMyTrip's offers page is client-rendered, so a plain fetch returns an empty shell. We render it in a headless browser and read the offer cards as they appear to a logged-out visitor in India, which is the recipe stored in store_intel.py. On 30 August 2026 that returned 92 cards covering flights, hotels, buses, cabs, trains, forex and bank tie-ups. The eight on this page are the ones whose card names a hotel chain, a stay type or a stay code. We quote the card headline and the expiry the card prints; we did not open a booking flow, apply a code at checkout or read each offer's full terms and conditions page, and we say so rather than implying a deeper check than we made.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which MakeMyTrip hotel offers are live right now?
On 30 August 2026 MakeMyTrip's offers wall carried eight stay offers. Six name a chain or rate type: Oyo Hotels at up to 60 per cent off on select properties, Sarovar Hotels and Resorts at up to 40 per cent, Summit Hotels at up to 25 per cent, Ginger Hotels at a flat 15 per cent, a flat 15 per cent on breakfast-inclusive stays, and an extra 10 per cent on Lords Hotels and Resorts. All six carry an expiry of 31 August 2026. Two coupon codes cover stays for longer: FIRSTHOMESTAY, a flat 20 per cent on homestays and villas to 4 September, and MMTESCAPE, the long-weekend code, to 5 September. None of the six chain offers prints a coupon code on its card; they are applied on the property page instead.
Do I need a coupon code for the Oyo or Ginger offer on MakeMyTrip?
No, and that is also the catch. The chain cards for Oyo, Sarovar, Summit, Ginger and Lords do not carry a coupon code, which means there is nothing to type at checkout. The discount, where it applies, is already reflected in the rate MakeMyTrip shows for participating properties on your dates. The practical consequence is that you cannot confirm the offer before you search: you have to open the property for your dates and compare. Only the two homestay and long-weekend offers, FIRSTHOMESTAY and MMTESCAPE, are codes you enter yourself, and they are the only two of the eight that let you check the saving before you commit to a plan.
Which MakeMyTrip hotel offer gives the biggest discount?
It depends on whether you are reading a ceiling or a rate. Oyo's up to 60 per cent is the largest headline on the wall, but the card limits it to select properties, so it is the best case rather than what a given room will show. Ginger's flat 15 per cent is the largest number that applies the same way everywhere it applies at all. On a Rs. 4,000 room night the flat 15 per cent is a certain Rs. 600, while the 60 per cent ceiling is worth anywhere between nothing and Rs. 2,400 depending on the property you pick. If you already know the hotel you want, price it both ways; if you are flexible, the ceilings are worth a search.
When do MakeMyTrip's August hotel offers expire?
Six of the eight stay offers on the wall printed an expiry of 31 August 2026 when we read them on 30 August: Oyo, Sarovar, Summit, Ginger, Lords and the breakfast-inclusive rate offer. FIRSTHOMESTAY runs to 4 September 2026 and MMTESCAPE to 5 September 2026. MakeMyTrip's cards state expiry as a latest-possible date and the company can withdraw a promotion earlier, so treat these as deadlines rather than guarantees. Chain tie-ups on the wall are refreshed regularly, so a fresh set usually appears in the first days of the following month; we re-read the wall and update this page when the September offers land.
Does the breakfast-inclusive stay offer actually save money?
Not always, and it is worth a minute of arithmetic. The offer is a flat 15 per cent, but it applies only to rates that already include breakfast, and on most properties that is the more expensive of the two rates offered on the same room. If a room-only rate is Rs. 3,500 and the breakfast-inclusive rate is Rs. 4,300, the offer brings the second to about Rs. 3,655 — so you are paying roughly Rs. 155 for two breakfasts, which is usually good value, but it is not a discount on what you would otherwise have paid. Compare the two rates on the property page for your dates before assuming the discounted rate is the cheaper one.
Prices & codes last verified: 30 August 2026
Every offer name, headline percentage, coupon code and expiry date on this page was read from the offer cards published on makemytrip.com/offers on 30 August 2026 and is quoted as printed on the card. We rendered the page as a logged-out visitor in India; a signed-in account, a different city or a different device can be shown a different set of offers. We have not made a booking, applied any of these offers at checkout, or opened each offer's full terms and conditions page, so restrictions such as minimum booking value, blackout dates, participating property lists and payment-method conditions are not covered here and may apply. Offers described as 'up to' a percentage state a maximum and not the discount any given property will show; whether a specific hotel, room, rate and set of dates qualifies is determined by MakeMyTrip and the property at booking, not by us. The worked comparisons between flat and ceiling percentages are our own arithmetic over the published headlines rather than figures MakeMyTrip states. MakeMyTrip can withdraw or change any promotion without notice, so a printed expiry is a latest possible date rather than a commitment, and this page is one day's read of a wall that changes frequently. Hotel and chain names and brand marks belong to their respective owners. Zoutons may earn a commission if you book through links on this page; it does not change what you pay, and nothing here was reviewed or approved by MakeMyTrip.
