Forty runners read on day three of the All Star Sale. Seven of them carry the same price, the same list price and the same seventy per cent — and the shallowest badges on the shelf sit on the dearest cloth.
AJIO's All Star Sale is live — AJIO dates it 7 to 18 October 2026 at a stated 50% to 90% off — so we read its table runner shelf on day three. Forty listings, Rs. 298 to Rs. 1,319, median Rs. 463, and not one publishing a rating. That leaves the badge, and the badge is doing something odd. Alina Decor's seven runners all sell at Rs. 300 from a stated Rs. 999, each badged exactly 70%, while Home Centre and Fabindia badge a median 35% and cost a median Rs. 183 more. The deep badges are on the cheap cloth.
Every price below was pulled from AJIO on October 9, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our AJIO coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

Four checks. First, do not filter by discount on this shelf. The 30 runners from less familiar labels badge a median 66% at a median Rs. 447; the 10 from Home Centre and Fabindia badge a median 35% at a median Rs. 630. Filtering for deep badges is a reasonable way to find the cheap end here, but it is the price that is doing the work, not the percentage. Second, watch for a repeated price. Seven listings at an identical Rs. 300 from one brand means a flat range, so the choice between them is a design choice and the 70% is not a reason to prefer one. Third, read the dimension, and open the page if there is not one. Sizes here come as seat counts, as inches, or not at all, and four of the twenty seated listings give none — measure the table first. Fourth, remember there is no rating. Not one of the 124 rows published a star average or a review count, so there is no second opinion to set against the seller's own numbers and the price is the only hard figure on the tile. This is a price page: we did not buy, open or handle anything, and nothing here assesses fabric, weave, colourfastness or finish.

Each selling price, stated MRP and discount badge here came from what ajio.com's own search returned for 'sofa cover', 'cushion cover set' and 'table runner' on 9 October 2026, logged out, in India, with nothing purchased. 124 rows came back, 40 of them table runners, and 20 are seated. Nothing is inferred from another marketplace and nothing is computed from a badge alone.
Alina Decor appears seven times among the 40 runners. All seven sell at Rs. 300, all seven state an MRP of Rs. 999 and all seven are badged exactly 70%. Four are seated and the other three carry the same three numbers. Pricing a whole range at one figure is an ordinary and lawful commercial decision; the finding is only that the badge on those tiles describes the range, not the item.
Home Centre and Fabindia together are 10 of the 40 runners: median badge 35%, median price Rs. 630. The other 30: median badge 66%, median price Rs. 447. On this shelf the shallow-badged group is the dearer one, which is the opposite of what a comparable read of another retailer's shelf showed the same morning. Both directions are reported rather than the one that fits a tidier story.
Not one of the 124 rows returned published a star average or a review count. No card on this page carries a rating pill, because there is no rating to carry. We say so rather than substituting a score of our own, and it is the reason this page examines what the discount badge measures - it is the only other number on the tile.
Runner sizes on this shelf are given three different ways - by seater count, in inches, or not at all - and four of the 20 seated listings publish no dimension whatsoever. Where a comparison of length appears on this page it uses the listing's own stated figure, which we did not measure, and any runner described only by a seat count should be checked against the table before buying.
In this read of 40 table runner listings on 9 October 2026, prices ran from Rs. 298 to Rs. 1,319, with a median of Rs. 463. The cheap end is printed polyester and microfibre from smaller labels; Home Centre and Fabindia listings sit higher, at a median Rs. 630. Those figures describe the listings these searches returned on that date rather than AJIO's full catalogue, and search results change continuously. AJIO's All Star Sale was running at the time of reading, dated by AJIO as 7 to 18 October 2026.
Because they are one brand's whole range at one price. Alina Decor appears seven times among the 40 runners in this read, and every listing sells at Rs. 300, states an MRP of Rs. 999 and is badged exactly 70%. The prints differ; the numbers do not. Pricing an entire range at a single figure and a single stated discount is an ordinary and lawful commercial decision and no wrongdoing is alleged. The practical consequence for a shopper is that the 70% on those tiles says nothing about the individual runner — it is a property of the range, so the only thing left to choose on is the design.
A badge is arithmetic over the selling price and a stated MRP the seller chose, and we have not verified that any runner here ever sold at its MRP. This shelf makes the point cleanly: one brand lists two runners at Rs. 298 and Rs. 520 against the identical stated MRP of Rs. 1,999, producing badges of 85% and 74% for the same claimed base, and Rs. 999 is the stated MRP on 12 of the 40 listings across unrelated brands. Compare the left-hand number. Setting a list price and choosing a discount are ordinary commercial decisions and no wrongdoing is alleged of anyone.
This page cannot tell you, and it should not pretend to. What it can report is the gap: the 10 Home Centre and Fabindia runners in this read sell at a median Rs. 630 and badge a median 35%, while the other 30 sell at a median Rs. 447 and badge a median 66%. So the familiar names cost about Rs. 183 more and advertise about half the discount. Whether the cloth, the weave or the finish justifies that is a judgement about textiles — we did not buy, open, handle or wash anything, and no product on this page is assessed for quality.
We can only report that they did not. Not one of the 124 rows returned on 9 October published a star average or a review count — not a thin pool, not a zero, simply no rating field at all. Whether a marketplace displays reviews is its own editorial decision and an entirely ordinary one; nothing here suggests otherwise. The practical consequence is that the discount badge is the only other comparative number on the tile, which is why this page spends its length examining what that badge actually measures.
