Amazon Air Purifier Prices August 2026: Rs. 1,299 to Rs. 84,485

We pulled Amazon India's popularity-sorted results for air purifiers on 30 August 2026 — 32 result rows, 22 unique products, every one with a price, a struck-through price and a rating. The shelf runs from Rs. 1,299 to Rs. 84,485, a spread of sixty-five times.

This is worth reading now rather than in November. Air purifier prices in India rise into the northern pollution season, and the machines that matter — the ones with real filter areas and published coverage figures — are the ones that go out of stock first.

One listing in the pull carries an obviously broken struck price: a Honeywell at Rs. 9,130 shows a struck price of Rs. 217, which is a data defect in the listing rather than an offer. We have left it in the table with its badge shown as zero, and flagged it, rather than quietly dropping the row.

On most shelves we read, the enormous rating counts sit on the cheapest listings. Air purifiers are the exception, and sharply so. The WINIX 5500-2 at Rs. 15,998 carries 27,490 ratings at 4.6 — more customer evidence than any listing on this page by a factor of four — and the Coway Airmega 150 at Rs. 16,999 carries 6,532 at 4.7.

Below them sit LEVOIT's Core Mini at Rs. 5,499 with 4,874 ratings at 4.4 and Honeywell's 3-in-1 at Rs. 5,159 with 1,775 at 4.0. Those four are the best-evidenced machines on the shelf, and three of the four are above Rs. 5,000.

The likely reason is that a purifier is judged over months of running rather than in the first week, and the brands with the longest presence in the category have accumulated the reviews. Whatever the cause, it means that on this shelf the rating count and the price point in the same direction, which is unusual and useful.

The five listings under Rs. 5,000 average between 3.2 and 3.7. That is the range at which a rating stops being an endorsement: on Amazon a 3.5 usually means a product that works for some buyers and fails quickly for others.

The cheapest listing on the shelf, at Rs. 1,299, describes itself as a purifier, humidifier and revitalizer, and states no coverage area and no HEPA grade. Devices in that price band are typically small fans with a thin filter element; they cannot move enough air to change the particulate level in a room, whatever the listing implies.

The honest floor for a machine that publishes an H13 HEPA filter and a real coverage figure is around Rs. 5,000, where the LEVOIT Core Mini sits with 4,874 ratings at 4.4 and a stated 183 square feet. Below that you are mostly buying a fan.

Thirteen of the 22 listings state a coverage area, and the range is enormous: 160 square feet at one end and 1,881 at the other. Coverage is the manufacturer's estimate of the room size the machine can clear at a stated air-change rate, and it is the only specification on this shelf that maps directly to whether the purifier will do anything in your room.

It also does not track price cleanly. Philips' AC0920 at Rs. 8,410 states 690 square feet, more than the Rs. 13,990 Cuckoo's 570. The WINIX at Rs. 15,998 states 1,881, which is more than the Rs. 23,367 Philips AC4221's 1,670.

Two things the listings do not publish, and which matter as much: the CADR figure (clean air delivery rate, the standardised measure behind these coverage claims) and the annual cost of replacement filters, which on most of these machines is a recurring expense of a few thousand rupees a year. Neither appears in search results, and both are worth checking on the product page before buying.
