Sixty-eight listings read on 18 October, each priced against the capacity in its own title. Storage is nearly free on this shelf. Evidence is not.
Two listings on this shelf are four rupees apart. One stores 4 GB, the other stores 128 GB. We read 68 distinct Flipkart pen drive listings on 18 October 2026 and divided each printed price by the capacity printed in its own title: the shelf runs Rs. 1.75 to Rs. 121.25 a gigabyte at a median of Rs. 9.77. The catch is where the cheap gigabytes live. Twenty-seven listings price under Rs. 4 a gigabyte and only eleven publish any rating, while the eight SanDisk tiles here cost a median Rs. 14.84 a gigabyte and carry a median pool of 7,952.
Every price below was pulled from Flipkart on October 18, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Flipkart coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
The two tiles that make the shelf legible: Rs. 485 for 4 GB, Rs. 489 for 128 GB, and the cheapest gigabyte seated here.
Rs. 485 for 4 GB - Rs. 121.25 a gigabyte
Why it earned its spot it sets the expensive end of the per-gigabyte range at 69 times the cheap end
Rs. 489 for 128 GB - Rs. 3.82 a gigabyte
Why it earned its spot it is the single clearest line in the read: Rs. 4 more than the 4 GB tile above
Rs. 963 for 512 GB - Rs. 1.88 a gigabyte
Why it earned its spot the lowest per-gigabyte price on this page, and it does publish a count
Twenty-seven listings in this read price under Rs. 4 a gigabyte. Eleven of them publish a rating. These four are seated from that group.
Rs. 650 for 256 GB, no rating published
Why it earned its spot the median price of the sixteen NP-titled listings, at a sixth of SanDisk's per-GB cost
Rs. 650 for 256 GB, a different stated MRP
Why it earned its spot an identical price and capacity to the card above under a different brand and MRP
Rs. 771 for 256 GB, badged 41%
Why it earned its spot the shallowest badge among the cheap-per-gigabyte tiles, and it publishes a count
Rs. 495 for 128 GB, badged 80%
Why it earned its spot the best-evidenced listing at the cheap end of the per-gigabyte range
Rs. 11.72 to Rs. 21.23 a gigabyte, 60 to 7,952 ratings, and the Rs. 1,410 gap between two tiles that state the same 128 GB.
Rs. 5,999 for 512 GB - Rs. 11.72 a gigabyte
Why it earned its spot the price ceiling of the whole shelf, at six times the per-gigabyte cost of pick 15
Rs. 1,899 for 128 GB, on 7,952 ratings
Why it earned its spot by far the most published buyer evidence in the read, at Rs. 14.84 a gigabyte
Rs. 1,359 for 64 GB, badged 70%
Why it earned its spot a branded 64 GB drive at eight times the per-gigabyte cost of the cheap 256 GB tiles
Rs. 1,299 for 128 GB, badged 50%
Why it earned its spot the shallowest badge among the branded tiles seated here, on a stated 2x MRP
Rs. 829 for 64 GB, badged 76%
Why it earned its spot a familiar brand at five times the per-gigabyte cost of the cheapest 256 GB tile
Every 32 GB-and-under listing in this read costs more than Rs. 23 a gigabyte while the shelf median is Rs. 9.77.
Rs. 351 for 4 GB - Rs. 87.75 a gigabyte
Why it earned its spot the lowest price in the read, and one of the three worst per-gigabyte rates in it
Rs. 889 for 32 GB, badged 51%
Why it earned its spot it costs Rs. 239 more than a seated 256 GB tile for an eighth of the capacity
Rs. 749 for 32 GB, badged 63%
Why it earned its spot a second 32 GB tile, Rs. 140 cheaper than the one above and still 2.4x the shelf median
Rs. 448 for 64 GB, badged 50%
Why it earned its spot the second-cheapest tile in the read, with the thinnest published pool seated here
The Rs. 450 to Rs. 1,150 band that holds 64 GB - the capacity this shelf returns most often after 128 GB.
Rs. 530 for 64 GB, no rating published
Why it earned its spot close to the shelf median per gigabyte, with nothing published behind it
Rs. 649 for 64 GB, badged 70%
Why it earned its spot the best-evidenced mid-shelf tile seated here
Rs. 1,149 for 64 GB, badged 67%
Why it earned its spot the dearest 64 GB tile seated, from the same house as the Rs. 649 one above
Rs. 799 for a stated 64 GB + 64 GB combo
Why it earned its spot a combo pack, which is why its per-gigabyte figure is not comparable
Four habits survive this read. First, divide before you compare. Price alone ranks a Rs. 485 4 GB tile above a Rs. 489 128 GB one; price per stated gigabyte does not, and the arithmetic takes a second. Second, do not sort by discount. The badge range here is 12% to 84% while the price range is Rs. 351 to Rs. 5,999, and the cheapest listing in the read carries the shallowest badge on it. Third, read the rating count as a separate number from the rate. The cheap-per-gigabyte end of this shelf is also where 16 of 27 listings publish nothing at all - that is not proof of anything, but it is the difference between a priced claim and an evidenced one. Fourth, check whether a tile is a combo. One seated listing advertises two drives in a pack, which halves its real per-gigabyte rate; a title that reads '64 GB + 64 GB' is not a 64 GB listing. This page read prices. It did not test a single drive.

Each selling price, stated MRP, discount badge, star average and rating count on this page was read on 18 October 2026 from flipkart.com's own search response for 'pen drive' and 'pendrive', logged out, in India, with nothing purchased. 122 tiles came back carrying 68 distinct listing ids - the same listing is returned under more than one query - and every count on this page describes the 68, not the 122. 20 are seated.
We divide the listing's own printed selling price by the capacity printed in its own title. 67 of the 68 listings state a capacity that way; the one that does not is excluded from every per-gigabyte figure here. We did NOT verify that any drive holds the capacity it states, and nothing on this page should be read as confirming it.
One seated listing advertises two 64 GB drives in a single pack. Its per-gigabyte figure is computed against the first stated 64 GB and labelled on its own card as not comparable, because if the pack ships two drives the real rate halves. Shelf medians quoted on this page are computed over single-capacity listings.
43 of the 68 listings publish a rating and 25 publish none. Where a cheap per-gigabyte rate comes with no published count - which is true of 16 of the 27 listings under Rs. 4/GB - the card says so, rather than presenting the rate alone. A published count is not an endorsement and a small count is reported as small.
This is a price read. It makes NO claim about real read or write speed, controller quality, build, heat, compatibility, warranty service, whether any stated capacity is genuine, or whether data on any of these drives is safe. 'USB 3.2', 'USB 3.1', '100MB/s', 'High Speed', 'OTG', 'Type-C' and 'Metal' are the listings' own printed words, reproduced as printed and unverified. Stated MRPs are the sellers' own figures and this page does not assert that any of them is false. We bought and tested nothing.
In this read of 68 distinct listings on 18 October 2026, prices ran Rs. 351 to Rs. 5,999 with a median of Rs. 759. The more useful figure is per gigabyte: Rs. 1.75 to Rs. 121.25, median Rs. 9.77. A rough rule from this shelf - 128 GB and 256 GB listings cluster between Rs. 489 and Rs. 800, which is also roughly what 4 GB and 32 GB listings cost. This is one day of ranked, personalised search output rather than Flipkart's catalogue, and prices change continuously.
This page can report the two numbers but not the reason. In this read a 4 GB listing sells at Rs. 485 and a 128 GB listing at Rs. 489 - four rupees for thirty-two times the stated capacity. What we can say is that the pattern is consistent rather than a one-off: every listing of 32 GB or less in this read prices above Rs. 23 a gigabyte while the shelf median is Rs. 9.77. Small drives appear to be priced as objects rather than as storage. We did not test whether any drive holds the capacity it states.
This page cannot answer that - it is a price read and we tested nothing. What it can report is how much published evidence sits behind the cheap rates. Twenty-seven of the 68 listings price under Rs. 4 a gigabyte, and only 11 of those publish any star average or rating count. Across the whole read, 43 of 68 publish a rating and 25 publish none. A missing count is not evidence of a problem; it is the absence of evidence either way, which is itself worth knowing before you spend.
The badge measures how large a second number the seller printed, not what you saved. The 84% tile here costs Rs. 489 and states Rs. 2,999. The 12% tile costs Rs. 351 and states Rs. 399 - and that 12% listing is the cheapest thing in the entire read. Across 68 listings this shelf states only 36 distinct MRPs, with round multiples doing much of the work; the deepest is 6.15 times the asking price. Price per gigabyte separates these tiles cleanly. The badge does not.
In this read the deepest published pool was 7,952 ratings at 4.1 stars, on a 128 GB drive at Rs. 1,899 - Rs. 14.84 a gigabyte. The eight SanDisk listings returned here carry a median pool of 7,952, against a median of zero for the 16 listings whose titles begin 'NP'. The same stated 128 GB is available on this shelf at Rs. 489, so the gap between the best-evidenced tile and a cheap one is Rs. 1,410. What that money buys in speed, controller or warranty is not something this page tested or asserts.
