Myntra Insider is free, and most people who qualify for it have no idea what it is now worth — because the programme quietly replaced its own currency. SuperCoins are no longer issued. In their place is Insider Day, an Insiders-only sale on the 28th of every month, paying 5% to 15% by tier with a hard Rs. 500 ceiling.
Below: how you qualify, exactly what each tier is worth at different basket sizes, the point at which the cap makes all three tiers identical, and what to do if you are still holding SuperCoins.

Insider Day is the 28th of every month · max discount Rs. 500
SuperCoin issuance discontinued · check the app for any balance
📅 Update log:
7 Sep 2026 — first published, from the 240-pair FAQ payload at myntra.com/faqs as served to a logged-out visitor on 7 September 2026. Myntra states that Insider benefits are subject to change, and its FAQ still carries a SuperCoin redemption deadline of 31 July 2025 that has passed, so we re-read the page and log any change to the tier discounts, the Rs. 500 cap, the eligibility test or the SuperCoin position here.
Myntra swapped a reward you could bank for one you have to show up for
For years the Myntra reward was a coin. You earned SuperCoins as you shopped, they sat in your account, and you spent them when it suited you. That is over. Myntra's FAQ states it plainly: the issuance of SuperCoins has been discontinued, and in their place Myntra runs Insider Day — an Insiders-only sale on the 28th of every month with a direct discount instead of a balance.
The replacement is more generous per rupee and far narrower in time. Myntra says the old Coin-in-Cash conversion returned 1% of order value and was limited to a smaller selection of items. Insider Day gives 5% to 15% off depending on your tier, with a maximum discount of Rs. 500, across a wider range of products. Myntra's stated reason is simplicity: no tracking, no redeeming, no expiry to watch.
The trade is real, and it is worth naming honestly. A coin accrued on every order and waited for you. The new benefit exists on one calendar day a month. If you shop on the 27th, or the 2nd, or during a sale that is not Insider Day, the loyalty programme pays you nothing that day. For anyone who buys when they need something rather than when the calendar says to, that is a downgrade dressed as a simplification.
So the practical question is not whether Insider is worth joining — it is free, so it is. The question is whether you can move your shopping to the 28th.
📅 The whole programme runs on one date. Insider Day is the 28th of every month. If you are planning a large fashion purchase and you are an Insider, the single highest-value thing you can do is wait for it — and, as the table below shows, split it if it is big.
Above Rs. 10,000, every tier is worth exactly the same
Insider has three tiers and the FAQ gives each a different Insider Day discount: Select 5%, Elite 10%, Icon 15%. It also gives all three the same ceiling — a maximum discount of Rs. 500. Those two facts together do something the tier ladder does not advertise.
A cap converts a percentage into a flat amount as soon as the basket is big enough to reach it. Icon's 15% hits Rs. 500 at an order of about Rs. 3,334. Elite's 10% hits it at Rs. 5,000. Select's 5% hits it at Rs. 10,000. Above Rs. 10,000, therefore, a Select member and an Icon member receive an identical Rs. 500 — the tier you spent a year climbing stops being worth anything at precisely the point you spend the most.
Read the other direction, the tiers matter most on small baskets. On a Rs. 2,000 order Icon is worth Rs. 300 against Select's Rs. 100 — a threefold difference, exactly as the percentages promise. The arithmetic below is ours, applied to Myntra's published percentages and cap; Myntra publishes the rates, not this table.
| Tier | Insider Day discount | Cap reached at an order of |
|---|
| Select | 5% off | Rs. 10,000 |
| Elite | 10% off | Rs. 5,000 |
| Icon | 15% off | Rs. 3,334 |
| Order value on Insider Day | Select (5%) | Elite (10%) | Icon (15%) |
|---|
| Rs. 1,000 | Rs. 50 | Rs. 100 | Rs. 150 |
| Rs. 2,000 | Rs. 100 | Rs. 200 | Rs. 300 |
| Rs. 3,334 | Rs. 167 | Rs. 333 | Rs. 500 (capped) |
| Rs. 5,000 | Rs. 250 | Rs. 500 (capped) | Rs. 500 (capped) |
| Rs. 10,000 | Rs. 500 (capped) | Rs. 500 (capped) | Rs. 500 (capped) |
| Rs. 20,000 | Rs. 500 (capped) | Rs. 500 (capped) | Rs. 500 (capped) |
🧮 How the new deal compares with the old 1%. Myntra says Coin-in-Cash returned 1% of order value. On a Rs. 2,000 Insider Day order, an Icon member now gets Rs. 300 where 1% would have returned Rs. 20 — far better. But because Rs. 500 is a ceiling and 1% was not, the two converge at roughly Rs. 50,000, where Rs. 500 is 1%. Small and mid baskets on the 28th win; very large baskets, and every purchase made on any other day, do not. That comparison is our arithmetic on Myntra's published figures.
It is free — but you have to qualify
Myntra is unambiguous that Insider costs nothing: it is described as a no-fee membership programme, and the FAQ answers “can I buy a Myntra Insider membership?” with a flat no, on the stated principle that everyone should have an equal opportunity to join based on their purchase history.
That purchase history is the gate. To be eligible you must have shopped for Rs. 4,000, net of returns, and placed at least 2 orders in the last 12 months. Both conditions, not either. And the “net of returns” wording matters more on Myntra than it would elsewhere — returned orders do not count towards the Rs. 4,000, so a year of ordering three sizes and sending two back may leave you short of a threshold you thought you had cleared.
Joining is also not automatic once you qualify: the programme is open to registered users and you have to opt in. If you assumed you were enrolled because you shop regularly, that is worth a check.
| Joining question | What Myntra's FAQ says |
|---|
| Does Insider cost anything? | No — the FAQ calls it a no-fee membership programme with no joining fee |
| Can you buy your way in? | No. Eligibility is based on your purchase history with Myntra |
| What is the entry test? | You must have shopped for Rs. 4,000 (net of returns) and placed at least 2 orders in the last 12 months |
| Is joining automatic? | No — it is open to registered users, and you have to opt in |
| When is Insider Day? | The 28th of every month, as an Insiders-only sale |
| Where are the full terms? | myntra.com/myntrainsider/tac, which the FAQ asks you to check regularly as benefits change |
What else Insider actually gives you
Beyond the monthly discount, the FAQ lists a set of ongoing perks that survive the SuperCoin change. The most concrete is early access to sales: Insiders get into select events such as the End of Reason Sale and the Big Fashion Festival a few hours before everyone else, with the timing communicated in advance. On a sale where sizes in popular styles sell out early, a few hours is the benefit that is hardest to value and easiest to feel.
The rest are listed rather than quantified: exclusive product launches, Hi-Care customer support, and curated rewards such as Spotify redeemed from the Insider Rewards section. Myntra notes that popular rewards go out of stock quickly and that new ones are added regularly, and that anything you have claimed appears under “Insider Claimed” in your account.
One caveat Myntra states itself: benefits are subject to change from time to time, and the FAQ asks you to check the Insider terms regularly. Given that this programme has already replaced its core currency once, that is not boilerplate.
| Insider benefit | What the FAQ says |
|---|
| Insider Day discount | 5% to 15% by tier on the 28th of each month, capped at Rs. 500 |
| Early access to sales | A few hours before select events such as End of Reason Sale and Big Fashion Festival, communicated to you beforehand |
| Exclusive product launches | Listed as an ongoing Insider perk |
| Hi-Care customer support | Listed as an ongoing Insider perk |
| Curated rewards | Rewards such as Spotify, redeemed from the Insider Rewards section |
| Rewards history | The “Insider Claimed” section under Myntra Insider in your account |
If you still have SuperCoins
This is the part where we have to be careful about dates, because Myntra's own page is.
The FAQ says SuperCoin issuance was discontinued “starting 14th February” — without naming a year. It also says that direct SuperCoin redemption against orders has been phased out, while listing three surviving routes: brand vouchers, gift cards on Myntra, and redemption on Flipkart and Cleartrip. In four separate answers it attaches the same deadline to those routes — available until 31st July 2025.
That date has passed. We are reading the page logged out on 7 September 2026, so we cannot see what a signed-in account is actually offered today, and we are not going to tell you those routes are definitely closed or definitely open. What we can tell you is that the published deadline is in the past and the page has not been updated to say what replaced it. If you are carrying a SuperCoin balance, check the Insider Rewards section in the app now rather than relying on a stated window that has already expired.
Two smaller points from the same answers. Myntra shows only SuperCoin activity that happened on Myntra — for the full picture including Flipkart, you have to look at Flipkart. And for any query about coins spent on a partner platform, Myntra directs you to that platform's support team, not its own. Separately, Myntra Points, a different currency, are described as redeemable by continuing to shop on the app, m-site or website, and as safe in your account until you regain access — unless they have expired.
How this page was read, and what it does not tell you
Everything attributed to Myntra on this page comes from myntra.com/faqs, read on 7 September 2026 as a logged-out visitor in India. The FAQ renders as an accordion but delivers all 240 question-and-answer pairs as JSON in the page payload; 23 of those pairs cover Insider, Insider Day, SuperCoins, Coin-in-Cash and Myntra Points, and they are the sole source for the no-fee statement, the Rs. 4,000 net-of-returns and two-order eligibility test, the opt-in requirement, the 28th-of-the-month Insider Day, the Select 5% / Elite 10% / Icon 15% tier discounts, the Rs. 500 maximum, the discontinuation of SuperCoin issuance, the 1% Coin-in-Cash return rate, the surviving redemption routes and their stated 31 July 2025 deadline, the early-access and other listed perks, and the Insider terms URL.
The two tables comparing tier value at different order sizes, the basket values at which the Rs. 500 cap begins to bind, and the comparison with the old 1% rate are our arithmetic applied to Myntra's published percentages and cap — Myntra publishes the rates, not these tables. They assume the discount applies to the order value as stated, with no other offer interacting with it; a real Insider Day basket may also carry brand discounts, coupons or bank offers that change the outcome, and we have not tested any of that.
What that means for what you can conclude. We read the published FAQ only: we did not join the programme, hold a tier, shop on an Insider Day, redeem a SuperCoin or a reward, or contact customer support, so nothing here reports how any benefit works in practice or what any member has received. Because we read the page logged out, we cannot see tier-specific or account-specific terms. Myntra states that Insider benefits are subject to change from time to time and asks members to check the terms at myntra.com/myntrainsider/tac regularly. The FAQ gives no year for the 14 February discontinuation date and repeats a 31 July 2025 redemption deadline that has now passed without saying what followed it; we report both as published and draw no conclusion about the current status of those routes. Verify in the app before acting on any of it. Nothing here is financial or legal advice, and no wrongdoing by Myntra is alleged or implied. This page does not cover Myntra's return policy, EMI, bank offers or coupon terms, each of which is documented separately.
The short version
SuperCoins are gone; Insider Day replaced them. Myntra discontinued SuperCoin issuance and now runs an Insiders-only sale on the 28th of every month, giving 5% (Select), 10% (Elite) or 15% (Icon) off, capped at Rs. 500. A balance that waited for you became a discount you have to turn up for.
The cap flattens the tiers. By our arithmetic on Myntra's numbers, Rs. 500 is reached at Rs. 3,334 for Icon, Rs. 5,000 for Elite and Rs. 10,000 for Select — so on any order of Rs. 10,000 or more, every tier gets the same Rs. 500.
Free, but you must qualify and opt in: Rs. 4,000 spent net of returns and at least 2 orders in the last 12 months. And if you still hold SuperCoins, check the app — the redemption deadline printed in the FAQ, 31 July 2025, has already passed.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Myntra Insider and is it free?
Myntra Insider is Myntra's loyalty programme, open to registered users who opt in. The FAQ describes it as a no-fee membership with no joining fee, and says you cannot buy your way in because access is based on your purchase history. The stated eligibility test is that you must have shopped for Rs. 4,000, net of returns, and placed at least 2 orders in the last 12 months on Myntra — both conditions, not either. Because the Rs. 4,000 is measured net of returns, orders you sent back do not count towards it. Membership is not automatic once you qualify; you still have to join. This reflects the FAQ as published on 7 September 2026.
How much discount do you get on Myntra Insider Day?
Insider Day runs on the 28th of every month as an Insiders-only sale, and the discount depends on your tier: 5% for Select, 10% for Elite and 15% for Icon, with a maximum discount of Rs. 500. The cap is the part worth planning around. By our arithmetic on those published figures, Rs. 500 is reached at an order of about Rs. 3,334 for Icon, Rs. 5,000 for Elite and Rs. 10,000 for Select — which means that on any Insider Day order of Rs. 10,000 or more, all three tiers receive exactly the same Rs. 500. The tiers are worth most on smaller baskets: on a Rs. 2,000 order, Icon returns Rs. 300 against Select's Rs. 100.
Why can't I see or use SuperCoins on Myntra any more?
Because Myntra discontinued them. The FAQ states that the issuance of SuperCoins has been discontinued and that direct SuperCoin redemption against orders has been phased out, replaced by the monthly Insider Day discount. Myntra's stated reasoning is that Insider Day removes the need to track and redeem coins and delivers a larger benefit: it notes that the old Coin-in-Cash conversion returned 1% of order value and applied to a smaller selection of items, against 5–15% capped at Rs. 500 now. Note that the FAQ gives the discontinuation date as “starting 14th February” without specifying a year. Myntra also displays only SuperCoin activity that took place on Myntra — for Flipkart earnings and redemptions you must check Flipkart.
I still have SuperCoins. Can I redeem them?
Treat this as a check-the-app question rather than a settled one. The FAQ lists three surviving routes for an existing balance — brand vouchers, gift cards on Myntra, and redemption on Flipkart and Cleartrip, with Myntra and brand vouchers found in the Rewards section of the Insider page. But in four separate answers it attaches the same deadline to those routes: available until 31st July 2025, a date that has now passed, and the page has not been updated to say what replaced it. Reading the site logged out we cannot see what a signed-in account is offered today, so we will not claim those routes are open or closed. If you hold a balance, open the Insider Rewards section in the Myntra app and check directly. For coins spent on a partner platform such as Flipkart, Myntra directs queries to that platform's own support team.
What are the other Myntra Insider benefits besides the discount?
The FAQ lists early access to sales as the most concrete: Insiders can enter select events such as the End of Reason Sale and the Big Fashion Festival a few hours before the sale opens, with timing communicated beforehand. Alongside that it lists exclusive product launches, Hi-Care customer support, and curated rewards such as Spotify, redeemed from the Insider Rewards section — where popular rewards can go out of stock quickly and new ones are added regularly. Rewards you have already claimed appear under the “Insider Claimed” section within Myntra Insider in your account. Myntra states that benefits increase with tier status and are subject to change from time to time, directing members to myntra.com/myntrainsider/tac for current terms.
Prices & codes last verified: 7 September 2026
Everything attributed to Myntra on this page is taken from myntra.com/faqs, read on 7 September 2026 as a logged-out visitor in India. The FAQ ships all 240 question-and-answer pairs as JSON in the page payload, and 23 of those pairs relating to Myntra Insider, Insider Day, SuperCoins, Coin-in-Cash and Myntra Points are the sole source for the statements here: that Insider is a no-fee opt-in loyalty programme for registered users, that eligibility requires Rs. 4,000 shopped net of returns and at least two orders in the last 12 months, that Insider Day falls on the 28th of every month, that the tier discounts are 5% for Select, 10% for Elite and 15% for Icon with a maximum discount of Rs. 500, that SuperCoin issuance has been discontinued and direct redemption against orders phased out, that Coin-in-Cash returned 1% of order value on a smaller selection of items, that brand vouchers, Myntra gift cards and redemption on Flipkart and Cleartrip were listed as available until 31 July 2025, and that early access, exclusive launches, Hi-Care support and curated rewards are ongoing perks. These are quoted or paraphrased without adjustment. The tables and statements comparing what each tier is worth at different order values, the basket sizes at which the Rs. 500 cap begins to bind, and the comparison against the former 1% Coin-in-Cash rate are our own arithmetic applied to Myntra's published percentages and cap, presented as such; they assume the stated discount applies to the order value with no other offer interacting, and a real basket may carry brand discounts, coupons or bank offers that change the result. We read the published FAQ only: we did not join the programme, hold or verify a tier, shop on an Insider Day, redeem a SuperCoin, voucher or reward, or contact customer support, so nothing here reports how any benefit operates in practice or what any member has actually received, and reading logged out means account-specific or tier-specific terms were not visible to us. Myntra states that Insider benefits are subject to change from time to time and directs members to myntra.com/myntrainsider/tac for the current terms, which prevail over anything on this page. The FAQ gives no year for the 14 February discontinuation of SuperCoin issuance and repeats a 31 July 2025 redemption deadline that has now passed without stating what replaced it; we report both exactly as published and draw no conclusion about whether those redemption routes remain available today, so check the Myntra app before acting. Nothing here is financial or legal advice. No wrongdoing by Myntra is alleged or implied. This page does not cover Myntra's return policy, EMI, bank offers or coupon terms, each of which carries separate terms. Zoutons may earn a commission if you buy through links on this page; it does not change what you pay, and nothing here was reviewed or approved by Myntra.
