Myntra's FAQ has 240 answers and does not contain the one number everybody searches for. Five of them stop short and say the same thing: check the product details page.
What it does publish is refund speed, and that is decided by how you paid — 2 hours to Myntra Credit, 1 day on UPI, 7 days on netbanking, and 7 to 10 if you cancelled the order instead of returning the item.

The FAQ never states the return window - the product page does
Refunds: 2 h on Myntra Credit, 1 day UPI, 5 days card, 7 days netbanking
📅 Update log:
1 Sep 2026 — first published. Every rule, timeline and quoted phrase on this page was read from the answers published on myntra.com/faqs as rendered to a logged-out visitor on 1 September 2026 (240 question-and-answer pairs, of which 68 concern returns, exchanges, cancellations or refunds), with no order placed, no return created and no account signed in. The 14-day figure is not in the FAQ; it is taken from Myntra's own product-page strings in the same page payload and is described as such. The grouping and the observation that five answers defer the window to the product page are ours. We re-read this policy page and log what changes.
Myntra's returns FAQ never tells you how many days you have
We read every answer on myntra.com/faqs on 1 September 2026 — 240 question-and-answer pairs, 68 of them about returns, exchanges, cancellations or refunds. The single most-searched fact about Myntra returns is not in any of them.
Five separate answers reach the point where a number belongs and substitute the same formula: “within the specified return/exchange period (check product details page for the same)”. The FAQ never says 14 days, or 7, or 30.
Myntra's own product-page copy does carry the figure — the strings it renders on a listing are “Easy 14 days returns” and “Easy 14 days exchange”, with a third variant reading “Return and Exchange not available”. So 14 days is the common case, but it is set per product, and the exceptions are real: Fine Jewellery is 10 days, and Myntra refers elsewhere to “non-returnable products and high-value products which can only be returned for limited number of days”.
Practically: read the returns line on the product page before you buy, because it is the only place the number exists.
💡 The window is a property of the listing, not of Myntra. Two items in the same cart can carry 14 days, 10 days and no returns at all. The FAQ will not resolve it — the product page will.
The refund timelines Myntra does commit to, by payment method
This is where the FAQ gets specific, and the spread is wide. Once a refund is initiated, Myntra publishes how long it should take to reflect, and it depends entirely on how you paid.
Myntra Credit is 2 hours. UPI, NEFT and wallets are 1 day. Cards are 5 days. Netbanking is 7. If you want your money back quickly, the payment method you chose weeks ago has already decided that.
One number is much worse than the rest and it is easy to miss: a refund for an order you cancelled — rather than an item you returned — is quoted at 7 to 10 days for every online payment method. Cancelling is not the fast path.
| Paid with | Time to reflect | Myntra's note |
|---|
| UPI | 1 day | Instant Refunds: reflects instantly, 48 h if delayed |
| IMPS / NEFT to bank account | 1 day | Up to five bank accounts can be saved |
| Wallets (PhonePe, PayZap and similar) | 1 day | Instant on cancellation, per Myntra |
| Myntra Credit / loyalty points | 2 hours | The fastest route Myntra lists |
| Debit card / Credit card | 5 days | “Depending upon your bank partner” |
| Netbanking | 7 days | The slowest of the return-refund routes |
| Any online method, order cancelled | 7–10 days | Cancellation, not a return |
₹ “Instant Refunds” has two exclusions written into it. Myntra initiates the refund at doorstep pickup — but the feature “is not available in a few select pin codes and for all self ship returns”. If your PIN code needs a self-ship, nothing is instant: the refund waits for the parcel to reach a warehouse and pass a quality check.
What actually happens between the request and the money
The refund clock does not start when you tap Return. It starts when Myntra initiates the refund, and that is either at successful doorstep pickup or, on a self-shipped return, after the item arrives and passes a quality check.
Between those two points sits the pickup window, which Myntra puts at 4 to 7 days, and a hard limit most people never hear about: three failed pickup attempts and the request is closed. You can raise a new one only if the item is still inside its return period — which, on a 14-day window with a 7-day pickup, may not leave much room.
The “No Questions Asked” label describes the doorstep check, not the absence of one. Myntra's own wording: delivery agents “may perform a simple quality check at your doorstep”, and a return can be put on hold if the item is not unused with tags intact, despite the label.
| Stage | What Myntra states |
|---|
| Create the request | Under My Orders on the app, website or m-site. Note the Return ID Myntra generates — one per item if you are returning several |
| Pickup | Offered only on selected PIN codes. Myntra says the product is picked up “anywhere between 4 – 7 days” from the request |
| If pickup fails | Three attempts, then the request is marked failed. You can raise a fresh return only if the item is still inside its return period |
| If your PIN code is not serviceable | Self-ship to one of Myntra's returns facilities, naming the seller from your invoice; shipping is reimbursed against a courier receipt |
| Refund initiation | On successful doorstep pickup, or after the item reaches the warehouse and passes a quality check on self-ship returns |
The parts of your money that do not come back
Several charges are excluded from refunds outright, and they are scattered across different FAQ sections rather than listed together.
The cash-on-delivery fee is non-refundable on any cancellation or return, partial or full. A donation added at checkout is non-refundable. And if a partial return drops the remaining order below an offer's minimum, the cashback is clawed back and adjusted against the items you kept.
The two harshest clauses concern a rejected return. If Myntra declines it — used, damaged, or tags missing — its wording is that “the user shall not be eligible for a refund, and Myntra assumes no liability in this regard”. The item is then re-shipped to you, and if you refuse to accept it, you “shall continue to be not eligible for a refund”. There is no partial outcome in that path.
| Not refunded | Myntra's wording |
|---|
| Cash-on-delivery fee | “The COD fee is non-refundable in case of an unlikely event of cancellation (partial or full) or return of the order” |
| Donation added at checkout | “Donation amount is non-refundable” — only the cancelled or returned products are refunded |
| A declined return | “The user shall not be eligible for a refund, and Myntra assumes no liability in this regard” |
| A re-shipped item you refuse | “You shall continue to be not eligible for a refund” if you fail to accept the re-shipped item |
| Cashback on a part-returned order | Deducted if the remaining order value falls below the offer's minimum threshold |
| Myntra-issued gift cards | No cancellation or refund once the order is placed; returns paid for by gift card refund to the same gift card |
How this page was compiled, and what it does not cover
Myntra renders its FAQ as an accordion, but the answers ship in the page payload as JSON, so all 240 question-and-answer pairs are readable without clicking. We read them on 1 September 2026 as a logged-out visitor, with no order placed, no return created and no account signed in, and quote Myntra's answers as written. The 14-day figure is not in the FAQ at all; it comes from Myntra's own product-page strings in the same payload, which is why this page treats it as the common case rather than as the policy. We have not returned anything, so nothing here reports how long a pickup or refund takes in practice, how a quality check is applied, or how any dispute is resolved — only what Myntra publishes. Seller-specific terms, category exceptions beyond the ones Myntra names, and anything shown inside a signed-in account are outside what this read can see. This page is not legal advice and does not affect your rights under consumer law.
Open Box Delivery closes a door once you accept the parcel
This is the rule most likely to catch someone out, because it changes the outcome based on a decision made in thirty seconds at the door.
Where Open Box Delivery applies, you inspect the item before accepting it. If you reject it as wrong, damaged or missing a component, Myntra says only a refund is possible — the feature “does not allow replacement or exchange” in that case.
If you accept the parcel, the reverse applies: you keep full exchange rights for size, colour or another product entirely, but a later return for wrong, damaged or missing “will NOT be accepted”. Returns for other reasons stay open. So the thirty seconds at the door is a real choice, not a formality.
| Situation | What it means |
|---|
| Open Box Delivery completed | A return for a wrong, damaged or missing product “will NOT be accepted” |
| You reject at the doorstep | Refund only — the feature “does not allow replacement or exchange” |
| You accept the box | You keep the normal exchange rights for a different size, colour or another product |
| Other return reasons | Still available; only wrong / damaged / missing is closed off once the box is accepted |
💰 Split payments refund newest-first. Myntra applies a “Last Paid First Refunded” principle: on a pay-in-instalments order, the refund is set against the most recent payment first, then works backwards through the earlier methods. On a Rs. 3,000 order paid in parts, a Rs. 1,500 return can cancel a future instalment before it touches your card.
What to do, in order
Before you buy, read the returns line on the product page. It is the only place the window is stated, and “Return and Exchange not available” is one of the three strings Myntra can render there.
If a fast refund matters, pay by UPI, wallet or Myntra Credit rather than netbanking — that is a 1-day-or-2-hour route against a 7-day one, on Myntra's own figures. And return rather than cancel where you have the choice, because the cancellation refund is quoted at 7 to 10 days.
When the return goes up, keep the item unused with tags and the seal tag intact, and keep the pickup window in mind — 4 to 7 days for collection, three attempts, and then it is closed. Our Myntra kurta price page and the watch shelf read cover what the listings themselves are worth.
The short version
Myntra's returns FAQ never states a return window — it says “check product details page” five separate times. Myntra's own listing strings say 14 days for returns and exchanges, with 10 days on Fine Jewellery and a “Return and Exchange not available” variant, so the window is a property of the item you are buying.
The refund times it does publish depend on how you paid: 2 hours to Myntra Credit, 1 day for UPI, wallets and NEFT, 5 days for cards, 7 for netbanking — and 7 to 10 days if you cancelled rather than returned. Instant Refunds excludes self-ship returns and some PIN codes, the COD fee and donations never come back, and a declined return means no refund at all.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Myntra's return policy in 2026?
Myntra's FAQ does not state a number — it says you may return or exchange “within the specified return/exchange period (check product details page for the same)”, and repeats that formula in five separate answers. Myntra's own product-page strings say “Easy 14 days returns” and “Easy 14 days exchange”, so 14 days is the common case, but a third string reads “Return and Exchange not available” and Fine Jewellery is 10 days. The item must come back unused, unwashed, with tags and any seal tag intact. Read from myntra.com/faqs on 1 September 2026.
How long does a Myntra refund take?
Once Myntra initiates the refund, the time to reflect depends on how you paid: Myntra Credit or loyalty points 2 hours; UPI 1 day; IMPS/NEFT 1 day; wallets such as PhonePe 1 day; debit or credit card 5 days; netbanking 7 days. Initiation happens at successful doorstep pickup, or after a self-shipped item reaches the warehouse and passes a quality check. A refund for a cancelled order is quoted separately at 7 to 10 days for online payments.
What is Instant Refunds on Myntra and when does it not apply?
Myntra initiates the refund to your source account the moment the return is picked up at your doorstep, rather than waiting for the item to reach a warehouse. Its own wording sets two limits: Instant Refunds “is not available in a few select pin codes and for all self ship returns”. So if your PIN code is not serviceable for pickup and you have to courier the item yourself, the refund waits for delivery and a quality check first. Even with Instant Refunds, card and netbanking refunds can still take up to 5 business days to appear.
Can Myntra refuse my return?
Yes. Myntra states a return may be declined if the item is used, damaged, or its original tags or MRP tags are missing, and its wording is direct: “the user shall not be eligible for a refund, and Myntra assumes no liability in this regard”. The item is then re-shipped to you, and if you refuse to accept it you “shall continue to be not eligible for a refund”. Separately, a return can be put on hold under the No Questions Asked policy if the doorstep check finds the item is not unused with tags intact, and a pickup request is closed after three failed attempts.
What does Myntra not refund?
Several things. The cash-on-delivery fee is non-refundable on any cancellation or return, partial or full. Any donation added at checkout is non-refundable. Myntra-issued gift cards cannot be cancelled or refunded once ordered, and anything paid for with one is refunded back to the gift card rather than to a bank account. And if returning part of an order drops the remaining value below an offer's minimum threshold, the cashback is deducted and adjusted against the items you kept.

Every rule, timeline, exclusion and quoted phrase on this page was read from the answers published on myntra.com/faqs as rendered to a logged-out visitor on 1 September 2026, with no order placed, no return or exchange created, no cancellation raised and no account signed in, and is reported as published. Myntra's FAQ does not state a return or exchange window anywhere; the 14-day and 10-day figures quoted here come from Myntra's own product-page strings carried in the same page payload, and the actual window is set per product and shown on the product details page, which is the only figure that governs your order. The grouping of Myntra's answers, the observation that five separate answers defer the window to the product page, and the comparison between return and cancellation refund times are our own editorial framing; the timelines, exclusions and quoted wording are Myntra's. Refund timelines are what Myntra states a refund should take to reflect once it has been initiated, and initiation itself depends on pickup or on a warehouse quality check; they are not a guarantee and depend on your bank or payment provider. We have not returned, exchanged or cancelled anything, so nothing here reports how long any step takes in practice, how a quality check is applied, how often returns are declined, or how any individual dispute is resolved. Seller-specific terms, category exceptions beyond those Myntra names, promotional or sale-period variations, and anything visible only inside a signed-in account are outside what this read can see. Nothing here alleges wrongdoing by Myntra or by any seller on the platform. This page is a summary of a merchant's published policy, is not legal advice, does not create or alter any contractual right, and does not affect your rights under Indian consumer protection law; the terms shown to you at purchase and in your order are the ones that apply.
