34 sarees, Rs. 450 to Rs. 1,499

Myntra's women's saree listing returned 34 sarees on 31 August 2026, every one of them under Rs. 1,500. The cheapest is a KALINI printed saree at Rs. 450; the dearest is a Parmila Fashion sequinned organza at Rs. 1,499. The median sits at Rs. 913.

Fifteen of the 34 are in the Rs. 1,000–1,499 band, thirteen between Rs. 500 and Rs. 999, and six under Rs. 500. So this is not a shelf where the cheap options are the bulk of it — the weight is at the top of the range.

Twenty-five of the 34 carry a rating. The median is 4.06, and the spread is wide: 2.2 at the bottom, 4.5 at the top.

The badge is arithmetic on a number nobody pays

Every badge on this shelf is the gap between the checkout price and a stated MRP, and those stated MRPs are not consistent with each other in any way we can see.

The Parmila Fashion organza is the clearest case. It is the most expensive saree here at Rs. 1,499, and it claims an MRP of Rs. 14,975 — ten times its own price, and the largest multiple on the shelf. That is what produces its 90 per cent badge, the biggest number on the page.

At the other end, HOUSE OF PRANSHI's two Kalamkari linen-blend Jamdani sarees claim Rs. 1,999 against prices of Rs. 1,141 and Rs. 1,166 — under twice, and the two smallest badges here at 43 and 42 per cent. They are also more expensive than most of the shelf. A small badge on this listing signals a modest MRP claim, not a bad deal, and a big one signals the reverse.

How to read these numbers. An MRP on a Myntra listing is a figure the seller declares; we have no way to verify any saree here was ever sold at one. Every percentage on this page is arithmetic over the seller's own two numbers, not a measured saving. Compare the prices across the shelf and the badges stop mattering.

What each price band actually gets you

Sorted by what you pay rather than what the badge claims, the shelf splits cleanly into three bands, and the fabric mix changes as you climb.

Under Rs. 500 the shelf is printed and Banarasi-style silk blends — KALINI, SZN, KANURIKAA and Moda Rapido, all between Rs. 450 and Rs. 499. Between Rs. 500 and Rs. 999 organza, chiffon and linen blends appear, along with the first ready-to-wear pieces.

Above Rs. 1,000 you get net, satin and heavier embellishment: Sangria's embroidered nets at Rs. 1,395 and Rs. 1,407, Mitera's Ajrak satin at Rs. 1,410, Anouk's beaded organza at Rs. 1,438.

💡 Read the fabric line, not the fabric word. The word “silk” appears in 12 of the 34 listing names, but almost never on its own — it is silk blend, art silk or dola silk. The fabrics named without a qualifier on this shelf are chiffon, georgette, linen blend, satin and net.

Ratings do not follow price here

The best-reviewed saree on the shelf is all about you's Embroidered Satin at Rs. 1,457, holding 4.5 from 15,842 ratings — by far the largest rating count here and the highest score.

At almost exactly the same price, KL9KIDS' mirror-work Banarasi at Rs. 1,431 holds 2.2 from 145 ratings. Twenty-six rupees apart, and 2.3 points apart on score. Two more listings sit below 3.5: vastranagari's ombre at Rs. 569 (2.9 from 22) and KALINI's block-print linen at Rs. 956 (3.2 from 69).

The cheapest saree on the shelf is one of the better-rated ones: KALINI's Rs. 450 printed saree holds 4.3 from 8,768 ratings. On this listing, rating count is the more useful signal than price — nine of the 34 sarees carry no rating at all, and several of the rest are rated by fewer than a hundred buyers.

For the rest of Myntra's ethnic shelf, our kurta price read and the lehenga and dupatta read cover the same listing pages on the same terms.

How we pulled this, and what it does not cover

This is one page of Myntra's women-saree listing, read on 31 August 2026 with no filters applied and no account signed in, from the JSON Myntra's own listing page embeds. It is therefore Myntra's default sort, not a search for the cheapest sarees on the site — there are more sarees below Rs. 450 and far more above Rs. 1,499 deeper into the listing. Prices are the checkout price shown on the listing card; they exclude delivery and take no account of coupon codes, bank offers or Myntra Insider pricing, all of which can change the figure at checkout. Sizes, blouse-piece inclusion and stock are not covered: several listings here name an unstitched blouse piece in the title and most do not, and we have not opened individual product pages to check. We have not bought or handled any saree on this page, so nothing here reports fabric quality, colour accuracy, fall or finish.

The short version

Rs. 450 to Rs. 1,499 across 34 sarees, with the weight of the shelf above Rs. 1,000. The badges run 42 to 90 per cent and tell you about the seller's MRP claim rather than the deal — a Rs. 1,499 saree claiming Rs. 14,975 is where the 90 comes from.

Compare prices and rating counts instead. The Rs. 450 KALINI at 4.3 from 8,768 ratings and the Rs. 1,457 all about you at 4.5 from 15,842 are the two best-evidenced buys on this shelf, at opposite ends of it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do sarees cost on Myntra?
On the women's saree listing read on 31 August 2026, the first page returned 34 sarees priced from Rs. 450 to Rs. 1,499, with a median of Rs. 913. Six were under Rs. 500, thirteen between Rs. 500 and Rs. 999, and fifteen between Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 1,499. Sarees exist well above and below that band deeper into the listing; this is one page of Myntra's default sort.
Which is the cheapest saree on Myntra right now?
On the page we read on 31 August 2026, the cheapest was KALINI's Ethnic Motifs Printed Saree at Rs. 450, against a stated MRP of Rs. 1,770 for a 75 per cent badge. It is also one of the better-reviewed listings on the shelf, at 4.3 from 8,768 ratings. Three more sat within Rs. 50 of it: two SZN Banarasi silk blends at Rs. 491 and a KANURIKAA at Rs. 497.
Are Myntra saree discounts real?
The percentages are arithmetic over a stated MRP, and the stated MRPs on this shelf are inconsistent. The 90 per cent badge belongs to a Rs. 1,499 saree that claims an MRP of Rs. 14,975 — ten times its own price. The 42 per cent badge belongs to a Rs. 1,166 saree claiming Rs. 1,999. We cannot verify that any saree here sold at its stated MRP, so compare the checkout prices across listings rather than the badges.
Which Myntra saree is best rated?
all about you's Embroidered Satin Saree at Rs. 1,457, holding 4.5 from 15,842 ratings — both the highest score and by far the largest rating count on the shelf. Below it, KALINI's Rs. 450 printed saree holds 4.3 from 8,768. Nine of the 34 listings carry no rating at all, and the lowest-rated is KL9KIDS' Rs. 1,431 mirror-work Banarasi at 2.2 from 145 ratings.
Are the silk sarees on Myntra under Rs. 1,500 real silk?
The listing names do not claim that. The word “silk” appears in 12 of the 34 titles, but almost always qualified — silk blend, art silk, dola silk, silk cotton. Only Parmila Fashion's Rs. 1,499 organza names Mysore silk directly. The unqualified fabrics on this shelf are chiffon, georgette, linen blend, satin and net. Read the composition on the product page before assuming otherwise.

This is the first page of Myntra's default sort rather than a price-sorted search, so it is a sample of the shelf and not a claim about the cheapest or dearest sarees Myntra sells. An MRP on a Myntra listing is a figure the seller declares; we have not verified that any saree here was sold at its stated MRP, so every percentage on this page is arithmetic over the seller's own two numbers rather than a measured saving. The medians, price bands, MRP multiples and counts of fabric words in listing titles are our own analysis of those listings and are described as such. Ratings and rating counts are Myntra's own, reported as published and not independently verified; nine listings carry no rating and several are rated by fewer than a hundred buyers. Prices exclude delivery charges and take no account of coupon codes, bank offers or Myntra Insider pricing, any of which can change what you pay. Size availability, blouse-piece inclusion, fabric composition and stock were not checked on individual product pages. We have not bought or handled any saree listed here, so nothing on this page reports fabric quality, colour accuracy, drape, finish or delivery experience. Myntra reprices daily and listings move in and out of stock, so this is one day's read; the price at your checkout is the one that applies. Zoutons may earn a commission if you buy through links on this page; it does not change what you pay, and nothing here was reviewed or approved by Myntra.
