Twenty-two listings read on 24 September. Myntra prints the millilitres in the title, which means the only question that matters on this shelf - what does 100 ml cost - has an answer.
We read Myntra's shampoo, hair colour, body lotion and face moisturiser listings on 24 September 2026 - 127 distinct products with a price and a stated MRP. Myntra does something AJIO's beauty shelf does not: it prints the pack size in the listing title. That makes the useful comparison possible. Six products here appear in two sizes each, and in every one of the six the larger pack costs less per 100 ml - by between nine and 22 per cent. The discount badge, meanwhile, points the wrong way in two of them.
Every price below was pulled from Myntra on September 24, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Myntra coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
L'Oreal, Clinic Plus and Scalpe each appear in two sizes. In all three the larger bottle is cheaper per 100 ml - and in two of the three the badge points the other way.
A litre of shampoo at Rs. 726, and its 340 ml twin costs more per millilitre.
Why it earned its spot The cheaper half of a pair that looks like the dearer half.
The small bottle: less money, a smaller badge, and 68% more per millilitre.
Why it earned its spot Seated to show what the badge hides.
A litre at Rs. 516, against the same shampoo's 650 ml at Rs. 394.
Why it earned its spot Second-cheapest per 100 ml of everything seated.
650 ml at Rs. 394: a larger discount badge and Rs. 9 more per 100 ml.
Why it earned its spot The clearest case of a bigger badge on a worse rate.
The 200 ml anti-dandruff bottle, and the dearest rate in its pair.
Why it earned its spot Cheaper ticket, dearer liquid.
400 ml at Rs. 541: bigger badge, cheaper rate, same ratings.
Why it earned its spot The pair where the badge and the arithmetic agree.
Pilgrim's 200 ml against its 400 ml, a Mamaearth two-pack that genuinely undercuts two singles by Rs. 133, and two Minimalist jars wearing the identical badge at different rates.
200 ml at Rs. 311 - the most expensive shampoo per millilitre in this read.
Why it earned its spot The worst shampoo rate on the page, on a modest-looking ticket.

The single bottle of the same lotion, at 28 per cent more per millilitre.
Why it earned its spot Only if you do not want 800 ml of body lotion.
100 g of moisturiser at Rs. 569, against 50 g at Rs. 331.
Why it earned its spot The sixth size pair, and the sixth time the big pack wins.
The 50 g jar: same badge, same ratings, 16 per cent more per gram.
Why it earned its spot Identical percentages, different rates.
Three KOKILA listings at Rs. 831, Rs. 831 and Rs. 832 sharing one pool of 4,507; two Biotique shades off one stated MRP; two Paradyes tints at exactly the same price.
Three KOKILA listings, one rupee apart, sharing a single pool of 4,507.
Why it earned its spot Opens a trio that is really one product.
A second KOKILA listing at exactly Rs. 831.
Why it earned its spot Identical to card 13 in every published number.
The third listing: Rs. 832, and a badge one point lower for it.
Why it earned its spot A one-rupee price gap producing a one-point badge gap.
Rs. 180 against a stated Rs. 375 - and its sibling is Rs. 198 off the same MRP.
Why it earned its spot Biggest badge on the page, and well evidenced.
The second Biotique shade: identical stated MRP, five points less badge.
Why it earned its spot Eighteen rupees of price, five points of badge.
A 160 g creme tint at Rs. 548, listed twice at the identical price.

A litre of shampoo at Rs. 35.70 per 100 ml, a body lotion with 88,576 ratings, and the most-rated listing in the whole read.
A litre of shampoo at Rs. 357, and the largest badge in the read.
Why it earned its spot Cheapest per 100 ml of everything seated, by a distance.
400 ml of body lotion at Rs. 278, with the second-largest sample here.
Why it earned its spot A good rate and a very large sample in one card.
A 100 g moisturiser at Rs. 335, rated by more people than anything else here.
Why it earned its spot The best-evidenced listing on the whole shelf.
First: divide the price by the printed pack size before you do anything else. On this shelf that single step separates Rs. 35.70 per 100 ml from Rs. 155.50, and no other number on the listing card gets you close. Second: when two listings show the same rating count, they are one product in two sizes - so the choice between them is purely arithmetic, and on this page the bigger pack won all six times. Third: ignore the badge for that comparison. The Clinic Plus 650 ml wears a bigger percentage than its own litre while costing Rs. 9 more per 100 ml, and both Minimalist jars wear the identical five per cent at rates 16 per cent apart. Fourth: check multipacks against the single. Mamaearth's two-pack here genuinely saves Rs. 133 against buying two - but packs that cost exactly twice the single, or more, are common enough that the check is always worth thirty seconds.

Every selling price, stated MRP, discount badge, rating average and rating count on this page was read on 24 September 2026 from myntra.com's own hair colour, shampoo, body lotion and face moisturiser listing pages, logged out, in India, from the window.__myx data those pages publish. 127 distinct listings returned a price and a stated MRP; 22 are seated. Nothing was bought.
Every per-100-ml and per-gram figure here divides the selling price by the pack size printed in the listing's own title - '1 L', '340 ml', '100 g'. Where a title carries no size, as the two Biotique cards do, we print no per-unit figure and say so on the card. Nothing was weighed, poured or measured by us, and a stated pack size is the seller's figure, not ours.
Myntra pools feedback across a product's sizes and shades, so an identical count on two listings means one product. Eight sets on this page share pools - L'Oreal at 87,175, Clinic Plus at 15,504, Scalpe at 23,836, Pilgrim at 15,287, Mamaearth at 18,474, Minimalist at 41,867, KOKILA at 4,507, Biotique at 31,217 and Paradyes at 11,716 - and each card names its siblings.
For each listing we divide the stated MRP by the selling price. On this shelf they run from 1.05 to 3.33. The same L'Oreal shampoo is listed once at 2.22x and once at 1.25x, producing badges of 55 and 20 per cent on one product. Stating a high MRP is legal and commonplace across Indian retail; we report the numbers and allege no wrongdoing by Myntra or by any brand.
'72H', 'damage repair', 'anti-dandruff', 'barrier repair', 'hairfall defense', 'oil-free' and every other description on these cards is the listing's own text, reproduced as printed and not verified. Nothing here was applied to skin or hair, washed out, weighed or measured, and no claim about results, formulation, allergy risk or safety is made or implied.
In our 24 September 2026 read it is Parachute Advansed Hairfall Defense at Rs. 357 for 1 L - Rs. 35.70 per 100 ml, which is also the largest discount badge in the read at 70% off a stated Rs. 1,190. The next cheapest is Clinic Plus Strong & Long at Rs. 516 for 1 L, or Rs. 51.60 per 100 ml. The dearest shampoo rate we found is Pilgrim's 200 ml at Rs. 311, which works out at Rs. 155.50 per 100 ml - 4.4 times the Parachute rate.
In this read, yes - every time. Six products appeared in two sizes each and the larger pack was cheaper per unit in all six: L'Oreal (Rs. 72.60 vs Rs. 122.06 per 100 ml), Clinic Plus (Rs. 51.60 vs Rs. 60.62), Scalpe Pro (Rs. 135.25 vs Rs. 152.00), Pilgrim (Rs. 131.00 vs Rs. 155.50), Mamaearth's two-pack (Rs. 58.63 vs Rs. 75.25) and Minimalist (Rs. 5.69 vs Rs. 6.62 a gram). The gaps run from 9% to 22%. That is six out of six in one read, not a general law of retail.
Because each listing declares its own MRP. L'Oreal's Hyaluron Moisture shampoo is listed at Rs. 726 for 1 L against a stated Rs. 1,615 - 55% off - and at Rs. 415 for 340 ml against a stated Rs. 519, which is 20%. Both listings carry the identical 4.6 from 87,175 ratings, so Myntra treats them as one product. The badge is arithmetic on two numbers per listing, and it is not comparable between the two sizes of one bottle.
Myntra pools feedback across a product's sizes and shades. In this read three KOKILA hair colour shampoos at Rs. 831, Rs. 831 and Rs. 832 all carry 4.4 from 4,507 ratings, two Paradyes tints at an identical Rs. 548 share 11,716, and two Biotique shades at Rs. 180 and Rs. 198 share 31,217. Nine sets on this page share a pool. When they do, the count describes the product family, so the only thing left to choose on is price and size.
On this listing, yes. The two-pack of 400 ml Rice Water body lotion is Rs. 469 and the single 400 ml is Rs. 301, so two singles would cost Rs. 602 - the pack saves Rs. 133, or 22%. Its stated MRP of Rs. 1,098 is also exactly twice the single's Rs. 549. This check is worth doing every time: multipacks priced at exactly twice the single, and occasionally above it, are common across Indian retail shelves.
