Sixty-seven of the 116 activewear listings we read on Myntra on 6 September 2026 are under Rs. 700, and a men's track pant at the median is Rs. 511. The tracksuit page is a different shelf: a median of Rs. 1,244.
That gap is the useful part. Below: why the set costs 37% more than the two pieces, why HRX's apparent house-brand premium disappears the moment you compare like with like, and which listings actually have ratings behind their badges.

📅 Update log:
6 Sep 2026 — first published. All 116 listings were read from myntra.com's own track pants, tracksuits and men's sportswear pages on 6 September 2026, as served to a logged-out visitor in India, with nothing purchased. Only listings showing both a price and a stated MRP were kept. Myntra re-ranks these pages continuously and moves prices without notice, so we re-read the shelf and log what has changed here.
Sixty-seven of 116 activewear listings are under Rs. 700
We read 116 listings from Myntra's own track pants, tracksuits and men's sportswear pages on 6 September 2026 — every one with a price and a stated MRP above it. The shelf runs Rs. 299 to Rs. 2,789 at a median of Rs. 649 and a median 60% off, and 67 of the 116 are under Rs. 700.
Track pants are the cheap half. A men's track pant at the median is Rs. 511 and a women's is Rs. 558; the floor is Rs. 399 for a PROGENY men's regular fit and Rs. 429 for an HRX women's Rapid-Dry jogger. Tracksuits are a different shelf entirely, with a median of Rs. 1,243 and a ceiling of Rs. 2,180 for an Adidas 3S stand-collar set.
The gap between those two medians is the whole argument of the next section, because a tracksuit is a track pant and a top, and the pieces are cheaper than the set.
| Category | Listings | Price range | Median price | Median off |
|---|
| Men's track pants | 32 | Rs. 399 – Rs. 1,149 | Rs. 511 | 59% |
| Women's track pants | 34 | Rs. 429 – Rs. 879 | Rs. 558 | 60% |
| Men's tracksuits | 32 | Rs. 609 – Rs. 2,180 | Rs. 1,243 | 64% |
| Men's sportswear (tees, polos, shorts) | 18 | Rs. 299 – Rs. 2,789 | Rs. 590 | 55% |
The tracksuit costs 37% more than buying the two pieces
At the median, a men's tracksuit on this shelf is Rs. 1,243. A men's track pant at the median is Rs. 511, and a sports tee at the median of the nine tees in this read is Rs. 399. Buy those two separately and you are at Rs. 910 — Rs. 333 less, or 37% below the set, for the same two garments.
The honest qualification, and it matters: these are medians across different listings, not the same tracksuit sold both ways. A matched set is cut and coloured to go together and a tracksuit jacket is not a tee — it is a full-zip layer, which is a different garment with a different job. So this is not a like-for-like price on one product, and we are not claiming Myntra marks sets up.
What it does tell you is where the money goes on this shelf. If you want a jacket, the set is a reasonable way to buy one. If what you actually wear is a track pant and a tee, the separates pages are the cheaper door into the same wardrobe, and they are also where the deepest evidence sits — the two most-rated garments in the whole read are separates.

₹ How we picked the rows in these tables. Each table shows the listings with the most ratings in its category, not the cheapest and not our favourites — a rating count is the only evidence a listing page carries, and sorting by it is the one ordering that does not require us to have an opinion about garments we have not touched. Full ranges and medians in the table above are computed from all 116 listings.
HRX is a quarter of the shelf — and it is not the premium you would expect
HRX, Myntra's own athleisure label, is 31 of the 116 listings here, more than any other brand by a distance. Across its whole spread its median price is Rs. 994 against Rs. 613 for everything else, which looks like a house-brand premium and is not one.
Compare within a category and the premium mostly disappears. On men's track pants HRX is Rs. 538 against Rs. 494; on women's, Rs. 639 against Rs. 518; on tracksuits it is cheaper than the rest of the shelf, Rs. 1,222 against Rs. 1,311. The Rs. 994 figure is a mix artefact: 16 of HRX's 31 listings are tracksuits, and tracksuits are the dearest category here. We went looking for a house-brand markup and the data did not support one.
Where HRX does differ is evidence. Twenty-nine of its 31 listings carry a rating; only 53 of the other 85 do. On a shelf where a third of listings show no rating at all, that is the meaningful difference between the house label and the small brands beside it — not the price.

One listing in 116 is not discounted, and it is the best rated
Exactly one garment in this read carries no discount: a Jockey Combed Cotton Rich trackpant at Rs. 999, listed at its MRP, rated 4.5 from 10,759 ratings — the highest rating in the entire read, on the only listing with nothing off.
Now look at the other end. The deepest badges here are 80%: a Netclick baggy training track pant at Rs. 401 against a stated Rs. 1,999 (304 ratings) and a Moda Rapido women's at Rs. 453 against Rs. 2,299 (1,319 ratings). Two listings at 78% — an Xpecto Style at Rs. 445 against Rs. 1,999 and an ALIZA at Rs. 436 against Rs. 1,999 — carry no ratings at all.
We cannot verify that any of these stated MRPs was ever a live selling price and allege nothing against any brand. But the pattern across this shelf is consistent and worth carrying to the next one you shop: the badge is a statement about where a brand sets its list price, and it moves in the opposite direction to how much anyone has actually said about the garment. We took that apart in more detail in our read of why the same discount percentages repeat across listings.

Two listings, one rating count: check the number belongs to the garment
Rating counts on this shelf are shared across listings more often than you would expect. Two HRX Mid-Rise track pants, at Rs. 669 and Rs. 674, both display 9,884 ratings. Two visibly different Pepe Jeans garments, both at Rs. 545 — a black athleisure trouser and a blue cotton lounge pant — both display 13,044.
Then there are the repeats. Three separate listings carry the identical product name glitchez Women Cotton Track Pants at Rs. 478, Rs. 483 and Rs. 483, with 1,699, 508 and 305 ratings between them — three pages, three review pools, one name. A WARCOURT women's jogger appears three times at Rs. 466 and Rs. 477 with no ratings on any of them, and a PROGENY men's track pant twice at Rs. 399.
This is ordinary marketplace behaviour rather than anything improper, and we allege nothing: colourways and sizes are frequently listed separately, and platforms group reviews across a family. The practical consequence is the same either way — a big number beside a cheap listing may have been earned by a sibling product, and if two listings of one garment differ by Rs. 5, the one with the ratings attached is the one you can actually judge. Rows marked “shared” in the tables on this page are ones whose rating count appears on another listing in the same read.

💡 Rapid-Dry, dryCELL, Dri-FIT and the rest are brand names for the same idea. They describe a synthetic knit that moves sweat off the skin faster than cotton does, and each brand has its own trademark for it. None of them is measured to a common standard, so the term tells you the fabric is synthetic rather than how well it performs. Cotton track pants — several here say pure cotton in the title — are the opposite trade: more comfortable to sit around in, slower to dry after a workout.
How this page was read, and what it does not tell you
All 116 listings were read from myntra.com on 6 September 2026 as served to a logged-out visitor in India, from four listing pages — men's track pants, women's track pants, men's tracksuits and men's sportswear — by parsing the initial-state data Myntra embeds in each page. Nothing was purchased and no account was used. Only listings carrying both a selling price and a stated MRP above that price were kept, so any item Myntra shows at list price with no MRP line is absent from these figures, and one further listing (the Jockey trackpant) appears with a nil discount because its two figures were equal. Every price, MRP, discount percentage, rating and rating count reproduced here is Myntra's own displayed figure, unadjusted. Medians, counts, category splits and the separates arithmetic are ours.
What that means for what you can conclude. Four listing pages are not Myntra's full activewear catalogue, so nothing here is a claim about the cheapest track pants Myntra sells; the first page of each listing is ranked by Myntra's own relevance sort, which is personalised and re-ranked continuously, so your pages will differ from ours. Prices move without notice, and coupons, bank offers, Myntra Insider benefits and delivery charges are not visible in listing data and can change what you pay in either direction — the price at your checkout prevails over anything here. We cannot verify whether any stated MRP was ever a live selling price and make no claim either way; no wrongdoing by Myntra or by any brand named is alleged or implied, including on shared rating counts and repeated listings, which are ordinary marketplace practice. Ratings and rating counts are Myntra's and are unaudited by us. Nothing here is a judgement of fabric quality, fit, sizing accuracy, durability, colourfastness or how any garment performs in use: nothing was bought, worn, washed or handled by us, and neither a discount percentage nor a rating is a recommendation to buy.
What to do with this before you buy
Decide between the set and the pieces first. At the medians here a tracksuit is Rs. 1,243 and a track pant plus a sports tee is Rs. 910. If you want the jacket, buy the set; if you want a pant and a tee, the separates pages are Rs. 300-odd cheaper for the same two garments.
Read the rating count before the badge. The only garment here with no discount at all — a Rs. 999 Jockey trackpant — is the best rated in the read at 4.5 from 10,759, while two 78% badges sit on listings with no ratings whatsoever. Under Rs. 700 there is plenty with real evidence behind it: a Roadster track pant at Rs. 499 with 9,520 ratings, an HRX Mid-Rise at Rs. 669 with 9,884.
Check the number is attached to the garment. Two HRX pants share 9,884 ratings, two different Pepe Jeans garments share 13,044, and three glitchez listings with one name have three separate pools. Where two listings of the same thing sit a few rupees apart, take the one with the reviews. Our loungewear read and AJIO's jackets and hoodies shelf are the adjacent pages if you are dressing the same wardrobe.
The short version
Across 116 Myntra activewear listings read on 6 September 2026, prices run Rs. 299 to Rs. 2,789 at a median 60% off, and 67 are under Rs. 700. Men's track pants sit at a median Rs. 511, women's at Rs. 558, tracksuits at Rs. 1,243 — which makes the set about 37% dearer than a median track pant plus a median sports tee (Rs. 910), though those are different listings rather than one garment sold both ways.
HRX is 31 of the 116 and is not the premium it looks like: within a category it is a few tens of rupees dearer on track pants and cheaper than the rest on tracksuits. What it has is ratings — 29 of 31 listings, against 53 of 85 elsewhere. The one undiscounted listing in the read, a Rs. 999 Jockey trackpant, is also the best rated at 4.5 from 10,759, while the 78–80% badges sit on listings with 0 to 304 ratings.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much do track pants cost on Myntra?
In the 116 listings we read on 6 September 2026, a men's track pant at the median was Rs. 511 and a women's Rs. 558, with the cheapest at Rs. 399 (a PROGENY men's regular fit, no ratings) and Rs. 429 (an HRX women's Rapid-Dry jogger, 4.3 from 3,233). Sixty-seven of the 116 listings across track pants, tracksuits and sportswear were under Rs. 700. The dearest single track pant was Rs. 1,149. These are the listings Myntra's own pages served us on one afternoon; results are personalised and prices move without notice.
Is it cheaper to buy a tracksuit or track pants and a T-shirt separately?
On this data, separately — by about 37%. The median tracksuit here is Rs. 1,243, while the median men's track pant (Rs. 511) plus the median sports tee (Rs. 399) comes to Rs. 910. The caveat is real, though: those are medians across different listings, not the same set priced two ways, and a tracksuit top is a full-zip jacket rather than a tee. If you want a layer you can wear over things, the set is buying you a different garment. If you were going to wear a pant and a tee, the separates pages are the cheaper route.
Is HRX more expensive than other brands on Myntra?
Not within a category, on this read. HRX's overall median of Rs. 994 against Rs. 613 for the rest of the shelf makes it look expensive, but that is because 16 of its 31 listings are tracksuits — the dearest category here. Compared like for like, HRX was Rs. 538 against Rs. 494 on men's track pants, Rs. 639 against Rs. 518 on women's, and cheaper on tracksuits at Rs. 1,222 against Rs. 1,311. The real difference is evidence rather than price: 29 of HRX's 31 listings carried a rating, against 53 of the other 85.
Why do two Myntra listings show the same number of ratings?
Because platforms group reviews across a product family, and colourways or near-identical styles are often listed separately. In this read, two HRX Mid-Rise track pants at Rs. 669 and Rs. 674 both showed 9,884 ratings, and two different Pepe Jeans garments both at Rs. 545 both showed 13,044. Three separate listings carried the identical name glitchez Women Cotton Track Pants at Rs. 478, Rs. 483 and Rs. 483, each with its own rating count. None of this is improper and we allege nothing — but it means a large count beside a cheap listing may belong to a sibling product, so where two listings of the same garment sit a few rupees apart, the one carrying the reviews is the one you can judge.
Are the 80% off badges on Myntra track pants real discounts?
They are real arithmetic over two numbers Myntra displays — a selling price and a stated MRP — but we cannot verify that any of those MRPs was ever a live selling price, and we make no claim either way. What we can show is the pattern: the deepest badges in this read (Netclick at Rs. 401 from a stated Rs. 1,999, Moda Rapido at Rs. 453 from Rs. 2,299, both 80%) sit on listings with a few hundred ratings or none, while the only listing with no discount at all — a Rs. 999 Jockey trackpant — is the best rated garment in the entire read at 4.5 from 10,759. Compare the rupee price of two things that do the same job rather than their percentages.

All 116 listings behind this page were read from myntra.com on 6 September 2026, as served to a logged-out visitor in India with nothing purchased and no account used, from four listing pages: men's track pants, women's track pants, men's tracksuits and men's sportswear. Only listings carrying both a selling price and a stated maximum retail price were kept, so items listed without an MRP line are absent from every figure here. Every price, maximum retail price, discount percentage, rating and rating count reproduced on this page is Myntra's own displayed figure, unadjusted; medians, counts, category splits, the brand comparison and the separates arithmetic are ours. The separates comparison uses medians drawn from different listings rather than one tracksuit priced two ways, and a tracksuit jacket is a different garment from a T-shirt, so it describes where money sits on this shelf rather than a like-for-like saving on a single product. Four listing pages are not Myntra's full activewear catalogue and their first page is ranked by Myntra's own personalised relevance sort, so nothing here is a claim about the cheapest activewear Myntra sells and your pages will differ from ours. Prices change without notice; coupons, bank card offers, Myntra Insider benefits, shipping charges and cart-level promotions are not visible in listing data and can move your final price in either direction, and the prices and terms shown at your checkout prevail over anything here. We cannot verify whether any stated maximum retail price was ever a live selling price and make no claim either way, and no wrongdoing by Myntra or by any brand named is alleged or implied — including in respect of rating counts shared between listings and of the same product name appearing on several listings, both of which are ordinary marketplace practice. Ratings and rating counts are Myntra's and are unaudited by us. Fabric technology names such as Rapid-Dry, dryCELL and Dri-FIT are the brands' own trademarks, are not measured to a common standard and were not tested by us.
