VPS Hosting Price India 2026: Hostinger Rs. 599 vs GoDaddy Rs. 649

We read both VPS pricing pages on 27 August 2026 and lined the plans up by hardware rather than by plan name. At one rung the specifications match exactly - 4 vCPU cores, 16 GB of RAM and 200 GB of NVMe storage. Hostinger advertises that configuration at Rs. 1,099 a month. GoDaddy advertises the same configuration at Rs. 3,299 a month. Both figures are introductory rates on a long committed term, and both sites print them the same way.

That is not a one-off. At every rung we could compare, the Hostinger plan carries either more memory, more disk, or both, for less money. The entry plans are the clearest illustration: Rs. 599 buys 4 GB of RAM and 50 GB of disk at Hostinger; Rs. 649 buys 2 GB and 40 GB at GoDaddy.

Hostinger publishes four KVM plans and, unusually, prints the renewal rate directly on each card. That is worth more than the discount percentage beside it. The KVM 4 plan is advertised at 69 per cent off, but the number that governs your second term is Rs. 2,399 a month - more than double the Rs. 1,099 introductory rate.

One line at the foot of the pricing block matters as much as the table: "All plans are paid upfront. The monthly rate reflects the total plan price divided by the number of months in your plan." Rs. 599 a month is not a monthly bill. It is a single upfront payment divided out for display. The page does not state how many months the introductory term runs, so we cannot tell you what that upfront payment is; the renewal line tells you only that renewals are quoted over two years.

GoDaddy's standard-performance tier runs from 1 vCPU with 2 GB of RAM to 4 vCPU with 16 GB, and the page describes a wider configurable range behind it - 1 to 32 vCPU cores, 2 GB to 128 GB of RAM and 40 GB to 1.5 TB of NVMe storage. So the ceiling is higher than Hostinger's published KVM 8, if you need it.

What GoDaddy does not print anywhere on this page is a renewal rate. Each card reads "For first 3-yr term" beside a struck-through list price. The struck-through figure is the best available signal of what a second term might cost, but GoDaddy does not label it as the renewal price and we are not going to treat it as one. If you are comparing lifetime cost rather than year-one cost, that is a real gap in the information - and it is a gap Hostinger does not have.

GoDaddy does state the term length, which Hostinger does not. Three years at Rs. 649 a month on the entry plan is Rs. 23,364 committed; at Rs. 3,299 a month on the 4 vCPU/16GB plan it is Rs. 1,18,764. That multiplication is ours, not GoDaddy's.

For a first term, Hostinger is cheaper at every comparable tier and the gap widens as you go up: Rs. 50 a month at the entry rung, Rs. 500 at two cores, Rs. 2,200 at four cores with 16 GB. Nothing on either page contradicts that.

For a second term the picture is only half visible. Hostinger's KVM 4 goes from Rs. 1,099 to Rs. 2,399 a month - still below GoDaddy's introductory Rs. 3,299 for the same hardware, so even after the renewal jump Hostinger stays ahead on that rung. But GoDaddy publishes no renewal rate at all, so a full lifetime comparison cannot honestly be made from these two pages. If second-term cost is your deciding factor, ask GoDaddy for the renewal rate in writing before committing to three years.

The reasons to pay GoDaddy's premium are specific rather than general: you need Windows Server on a small plan, you want cPanel or Plesk bundled through a single vendor, you need multiple dedicated IPs, or you expect to scale past 8 vCPU and 32 GB without migrating. If none of those apply, the four-core comparison is hard to argue with.
