AbhiBus published 40 live offer cards on 26 August 2026, and nine of them apply to state road transport corporation buses - APSRTC, TGSRTC, UPSRTC, HRTC, Kerala RTC, RSRTC, OSRTC, GSRTC and Uttarakhand's UTC. The codes are real and we have transcribed all nine from the cards' own terms.

The headline numbers are not what you save today. Every RTC card adds an instant discount to an equal AbhiCash wallet cashback paid only after you travel and prints the sum. UPSRTC and HRTC say Rs. 500 and cap the instant half at Rs. 250. If you have booked before, three of the nine give you no instant discount at all.

📅 Update log:
26 Aug 2026 — first published. All 40 offer cards pulled from abhibus.com/bus-ticket-offers (abhibus.com/offers is a 404) with each card's own JSON payload, which carries the full terms text, an expiry date and a new-user flag. Nine cards are RTC-specific; their codes, percentages, caps, usage limits and expiry dates are transcribed above. Note against our 22 Aug read, which reported no codes on the cards: the codes are printed in the terms text rather than on the card face. Longest-dated card: APSRTC, 16 Apr 2027. Nearest expiry among the RTC set: OSRTC, GSRTC and UTC300 on 30 Sep 2026. We re-check this page weekly and log every code, cap or expiry that changes.

The nine AbhiBus RTC coupon codes, and what each one caps at

AbhiBus ran 40 offer cards on its own offers page when we read it on 26 August 2026, and nine of them are tied to a state road transport corporation. The codes below are quoted from each card's own terms text - the card face shows only "View Details", which is why a read of this same page on 22 August reported no codes printed. Every figure in this table is AbhiBus's own.

Read the fourth and fifth columns rather than the third. The headline on the UPSRTC and HRTC cards is Rs. 500; the instant discount inside each is capped at Rs. 250, and the other Rs. 250 is AbhiCash wallet credit that lands only after you have completed the journey.

💡 The one code that does not match its corporation: the card titled "50% off on RSRTC bookings" names RJ100 in its terms, not RSRTC. Typing RSRTC at checkout will not apply it.

Why "Save upto Rs. 500" is really Rs. 250 off today

Each RTC card states one number in its title and two numbers in its terms. The title adds them together. On UPSRTC the terms read: "New users get 10% upto Rs.250 + 10% upto Rs.250 cashback". The first half comes off the fare you pay now. The second half is credited to AbhiCash, AbhiBus's own wallet, and every RTC card that mentions timing says the same thing - the cashback arrives after journey completion, not at booking.

That matters in two ways. It is money you can only spend on another AbhiBus booking, so it is worth its face value only if you are a repeat traveller. And it is contingent on the trip actually happening: a cancelled journey is a cancelled cashback. If you book one bus a year, treat the UPSRTC and HRTC cards as Rs. 250 offers and the Rs. 300 cards as Rs. 150 offers.

The percentage is the real constraint on short routes. Ten per cent of a Rs. 400 APSRTC fare is Rs. 40, nowhere near the Rs. 150 cap - you need a fare of about Rs. 1,500 before the cap on those cards binds at all, and about Rs. 2,500 on the Rs. 250 UPSRTC and HRTC halves.

Our arithmetic, not AbhiBus's. The table above applies the percentage and cap each card states to five example fares. AbhiBus publishes no such table; it publishes the percentage, the cap and the headline sum.

If you have booked on AbhiBus before, read this column

Six of the nine RTC cards write a separate, smaller line for existing users, and on three of them - UPSRTC, HRTC and RSRTC - that line is cashback only. There is no instant discount for a returning customer on those three; the Rs. 50 arrives in AbhiCash after the journey. APSRTC, TGSRTC and UTC are the generous ones, holding existing users at 10 per cent up to Rs. 150 - still as wallet credit.

OSRTC is the outlier worth knowing about: its card sets no separate existing-user rate and states the offer is valid ten times per user, against once per user almost everywhere else. GSRTC allows twice.

Full terms quoted from the AbhiBus cards (RTC offers)
  • UPSRTC / HRTC: "New users get 10% upto Rs.250 + 10% upto Rs.250 cashback. Existing users get 10% upto Rs.50 cashback. No minimum transaction value. Valid for all AbhiBus users, once per user, only on UPSRTC (respectively HRTC) bus bookings."
  • APSRTC / TGSRTC / UTC: "New users will get 10% up to Rs.150 instant discount + 10% up to Rs.150 Promo AbhiBus Cashback. Existing customers get 10% up to Rs.150 Promo AbhiBus Cashback. No minimum transaction value applicable. The Promo AbhiBus Cashback will be credited to the AbhiCash wallet of the user post journey completion."
  • Kerala RTC: same 10 + 10 structure at Rs. 150 each; the card states the new-user split and does not print a separate existing-user rate.
  • RSRTC: "Apply Coupon code RJ100... New users get 50% upto Rs.100 Instant Discount + 10% upto Rs.100 AbhiBus Cashback. Existing users get 10% upto Rs.50 AbhiBus Cashback."
  • OSRTC: "20% up to Rs. 75 instant discount + 20% up to Rs. 75 cashback... valid only 10 times per user."
  • GSRTC: "10% up to Rs. 50 instant discount + 10% up to Rs. 50 Cashback... valid twice per user."
  • Every RTC card ends with the same two clauses: the offer cannot be combined with any other offer, and it is valid only on that corporation's buses - not on private operators or any other state's service.

Private operators: where the flat-rupee codes are

If your route is run by a private fleet rather than a corporation, the shape of the offer changes: fifteen cards name a specific operator and several are flat-rupee rather than percentage, which is the better deal on a cheap seat. Four of them are new-user-only, so a returning traveller is choosing between the percentage cards and the platform-wide ABHIONAM code (20 per cent up to Rs. 250 instant plus 20 per cent up to Rs. 250 cashback for new users; 20 per cent up to Rs. 100 plus Rs. 100 for existing users), which expires 31 August 2026.

One caution on the flat-rupee cards: the Naveen Transport card is titled Rs. 500 but its terms describe a flat Rs. 200 saving, and it is restricted to new users. Where a title and its terms disagree on this page, the terms are the operative text.

The honest read

Nine RTC codes are live and all nine are real, but only three of them - UPSRTC, HRTC and RSRTC - are worth planning a booking around, and only if it is your first AbhiBus booking. For everyone else the instant saving on a typical Rs. 600 to Rs. 900 state-bus fare is Rs. 60 to Rs. 90, because ten per cent bites long before any cap does.

Apply the code that matches your corporation exactly - the codes are the acronym in every case except Rajasthan, where it is RJ100 - and expect the cashback half to arrive in AbhiCash after you travel, if at all. Check the fare with and without the code before paying, because none of these can be combined with another offer, and on a short route a flat-rupee private-operator card on a parallel service can beat a percentage on the state bus.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the coupon code for APSRTC bus booking on AbhiBus?
APSRTC. The card on abhibus.com/bus-ticket-offers reads "Apply Coupon code APSRTC at bus booking checkout and save upto Rs.300 on APSRTC bus services", and the terms split that Rs. 300 into two halves: 10 per cent up to Rs. 150 as an instant discount for new users, plus 10 per cent up to Rs. 150 as Promo AbhiBus Cashback credited to the AbhiCash wallet after the journey is completed. Existing customers get the cashback half only. There is no minimum transaction value, the offer is valid once per user, and the card's own expiry field reads 16 April 2027 - the longest-dated RTC offer on the page. It works only on APSRTC services; it will not apply to a private operator or to TGSRTC. All figures read 26 August 2026.
Which AbhiBus RTC offer gives the biggest discount?
By instant discount, UPSRTC and HRTC: both cap the immediate saving at Rs. 250 for a new user, against Rs. 150 on the APSRTC, TGSRTC, Kerala RTC and UTC cards, Rs. 100 on RSRTC, Rs. 75 on OSRTC and Rs. 50 on GSRTC. By percentage, RSRTC is the largest at 50 per cent, but it caps at Rs. 100, so it only beats UPSRTC on fares below about Rs. 200 - and on a Rs. 200 fare it is worth Rs. 100 against Rs. 20 from a 10 per cent card, which makes it the best short-route offer on the page. The headline numbers, Rs. 500 on UPSRTC and HRTC, are sums of an instant half and a wallet-cashback half and should not be read as money off today's fare.
Do AbhiBus RTC coupons work for existing users?
Partly, and less generously. Six of the nine RTC cards print a separate existing-user line. On UPSRTC, HRTC and RSRTC it is 10 per cent up to Rs. 50 and it is cashback only, which means a returning customer pays the full fare today and receives up to Rs. 50 in AbhiCash after travelling. On APSRTC, TGSRTC and UTC the existing-user line is 10 per cent up to Rs. 150, again as cashback. GSRTC states 10 per cent up to Rs. 50 for existing users, and OSRTC prints no separate rate at all while allowing the offer ten times per user. The Kerala RTC card describes only the new-user split. If you have booked before, the platform-wide ABHIONAM card - 20 per cent up to Rs. 100 instant plus Rs. 100 cashback - is often the better choice, though it excludes state corporation buses.
Is AbhiCash cashback the same as money off my ticket?
No. Every RTC card that mentions timing states that the Promo AbhiBus Cashback is credited to the user's AbhiCash wallet after journey completion. Three things follow. It does not reduce what you pay at checkout today. It can only be spent on a future AbhiBus booking, so for a one-off traveller it is worth nothing unless they book again. And it is conditional on completing the trip, so a cancellation forfeits it. This is why the honest value of the Rs. 500 UPSRTC card, for a first-time user on a Rs. 2,500-plus fare, is Rs. 250 today and Rs. 250 later - and for a short Rs. 600 hop, Rs. 60 today and Rs. 60 later.
Can I use two AbhiBus coupons on one booking?
No. Every RTC card on the page carries the clause "This offer cannot be combined with any other offer", and the operator and platform cards repeat it. That includes stacking an RTC code with the first-booking ABHIFIRST offer or with a bank card offer such as RBL300 or SBICAB. In practice this makes the choice a comparison rather than a combination: work out the rupee value of the operator or RTC code on your specific fare, compare it with the bank offer your card qualifies for, and apply whichever is larger. On fares under about Rs. 1,500 a flat-rupee card usually wins; above that, the percentage cards with Rs. 250 caps catch up. Codes and caps were read on 26 August 2026 and change without notice.
Prices & codes last verified: 26 August 2026
Every code, percentage, cap, usage limit and expiry date on this page was transcribed on 26 August 2026 from the offer cards published at abhibus.com/bus-ticket-offers, including the JSON payload each card carries, which holds the card's full terms text, its expiry date and its new-user flag. Forty distinct cards were live; nine are covered here in full and fifteen private-operator cards in summary. Where a card's title and its terms disagree - the Naveen Transport card is titled Rs. 500 and its terms describe a flat Rs. 200 - we have reported the terms and said so. Coupon codes are quoted as the terms print them and we have not tested any of them at checkout, so we cannot confirm that a given code applies to a given route, fare or account; AbhiBus states that each offer is restricted to the named corporation or operator and cannot be combined with any other offer. The example-fare table is our own arithmetic applied to the percentages and caps AbhiBus states, not a table AbhiBus publishes, and actual savings depend on the fare, the operator and whether the account has booked before. AbhiCash is AbhiBus's own wallet: cashback described here is credited there after journey completion by AbhiBus's own terms, is spendable only on AbhiBus, and is not money off the fare paid at checkout. The banner photograph is a coach image from Volvo Buses' own website, used to illustrate the bus-travel category, and does not depict an AbhiBus service or any operator named on this page. Offers change and expire without notice - check the live page before you pay. Zoutons may earn a commission if you book through links on this page; it does not change what you pay, and nothing here was reviewed or approved by AbhiBus.
