Every 49 per cent listing on this shelf is a Reliance label. The Rs. 1,999 claims belong to somebody else. Twenty-four picks from 125 listings.
We pulled 125 kidswear listings from AJIO's own product data on August 9, 2026 and grouped them by who owns the seller. Nineteen carry exactly 49 per cent off and all nineteen are Reliance-owned labels pricing at half of a small round claim. The marketplace sellers do the reverse: Rs. 1,999 claimed on a Rs. 220 T-shirt, Rs. 3,299 on a Rs. 462 dress. The category itself is cheap - everything here sits between Rs. 91 and Rs. 709 - and AJIO publishes no rating on any of it.
Every price below was pulled from AJIO on August 9, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our AJIO coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

First: work out the per-unit price on every multipack, because Rs. 104 per complete outfit in a Lofn three-pack beats almost every single-unit listing on the shelf and no listing shows that figure. Second: ignore the badge entirely - nineteen listings at exactly 49 per cent are one company's labels, and the 89 per cent ones are sellers claiming Rs. 1,999 for a child's T-shirt, the same behaviour this series documented across 117 AJIO formalwear listings. Third: accept that there are no ratings anywhere on AJIO and buy accordingly - at Rs. 91 to Rs. 300 a garment that disappoints has cost very little, which is the only sane way to shop a shelf with no reviews, as 226 listings with nothing to go on showed in July. Fourth: read the fabric composition rather than the fit name, because on children's clothing cotton content and colourfastness are what decide whether a Rs. 200 tee survives a term. Fifth: check the coupon minimum before building a cart, since a category with a Rs. 314 median rarely reaches AJIO's own thresholds on a single item.

Nineteen listings in this read carry exactly 49 per cent off, and every single one belongs to a Reliance-owned label: YB DNMX, KB TEAM SPIRIT, KG FRENDZ, RIO GIRLS, POINT COVE and V-MART. Their stated MRPs are round numbers - Rs. 179, Rs. 199, Rs. 299, Rs. 399, Rs. 499, Rs. 799, Rs. 999 - and their prices are half of them. The marketplace sellers on the same shelf claim Rs. 1,699, Rs. 1,999, Rs. 2,341 and Rs. 3,299 on garments costing Rs. 187 to Rs. 462. The badge sorts this shelf by seller type, not by value.
A Trampoline five-pack at Rs. 540 is Rs. 108 per T-shirt; a Kuchipoo five-pack at Rs. 589 is Rs. 118; a Lofn three-pack of complete outfits at Rs. 312 is Rs. 104 per set, and the same brand's two-pack is Rs. 130. Those figures beat almost every single-unit listing on the page and none of them appears anywhere on the listing itself. Where a pack size exists we divide it out and print the result in the card, because for a category bought in bulk by parents replacing outgrown clothes, per-unit is the only price that matters.
Not one of the 125 listings in this read carries a rating or a review count. On children's clothing that absence is more consequential than on most shelves: fabric composition, colourfastness, shrinkage after washing and how a printed transfer survives ten cycles are exactly the things a crowd would report and a listing will not. No rating pill appears anywhere on this page, and where a purchase turns on something unverifiable - how an applique is attached, how a Rs. 187 set washes - we say so rather than implying knowledge we do not have.
The largest claim in this read is Rs. 3,299 on a Rs. 462 dress and the smallest is Rs. 249 on a Rs. 197 T-shirt. Several claims are unrounded in ways that suggest they were generated backwards from a target badge - Rs. 1,847 appears on three different dresses from two sellers, all priced at Rs. 314. Because those numbers cannot be compared as percentages, every card prints the rupee price first, the rupee gap second and the badge last, and names the cases where a claim has no market behind it.
Because they are the retailer's own labels, priced at half of a round stated MRP. In our August 9, 2026 read of 125 AJIO kidswear listings, nineteen carried exactly 49 per cent off, and every one belonged to a Reliance-owned brand - YB DNMX, KB TEAM SPIRIT, KG FRENDZ, RIO GIRLS, POINT COVE or V-MART. Their claims were Rs. 179, Rs. 199, Rs. 299, Rs. 399, Rs. 499, Rs. 799, Rs. 999 and Rs. 1,199, and their prices were half of each. Across that block the badge is identical while the prices span from Rs. 91 to Rs. 611, so it carries no information about value at all.
No, and no one has paid that. In our read a Hellcat boys' crew-neck T-shirt sold at Rs. 220 against a stated Rs. 1,999 - an 89 per cent badge - while the retailer's own YB DNMX tee sold at Rs. 91 against a stated Rs. 179. A SURATSUIT shirt-and-shorts set claimed Rs. 1,699 at a price of Rs. 187, and the largest claim in the whole read was Rs. 3,299 on a Rs. 462 dress. Several claims were unrounded in ways that suggest they were generated backwards from a target badge: Rs. 1,847 appeared on three separate dresses from two different sellers, all priced at Rs. 314.
Multipacks, and the difference is large. A Trampoline five-pack at Rs. 540 works out at Rs. 108 per T-shirt and a Kuchipoo five-pack at Rs. 589 at Rs. 118. Better still, a Lofn three-pack of complete shorts-and-T-shirt sets at Rs. 312 is Rs. 104 per outfit - the lowest per-unit price anywhere in our read, and less than most single T-shirts on the shelf. Note that the same brand's two-pack works out at Rs. 130 per set, a 25 per cent premium for buying fewer. None of these listings prints the per-unit figure, so it has to be divided out.
Not on any of the 125 listings we read on August 9, 2026. That absence matters more here than in most categories, because the questions parents actually have about a Rs. 200 garment - does the colour run, does it shrink, does the print crack after ten washes, is the applique stitched or glued - are exactly the ones a review section answers and a listing does not. In practice it means buying on fabric composition where it is stated, on a brand you already know, and at prices low enough that a disappointment costs very little. We have attached no rating pill anywhere on this page.
Less than most people expect. The entire 125-listing read sits between Rs. 91 and Rs. 709 with a median of Rs. 314. A basic house-label T-shirt is Rs. 91 to Rs. 203, a girls' dress from the same labels Rs. 254 to Rs. 611, a two-piece marketplace set Rs. 187 to Rs. 240, and a full-sleeve night suit from a hosiery manufacturer Rs. 288. The dearest single item in the read was a Rs. 709 checked shirt dress, and the dearest single T-shirt Rs. 689 - which is more than a five-pack from Trampoline at Rs. 540.
