A shelf where the same company's thermal wear is discounted four different ways, and two of its listings meet at exactly the same price.
We read 61 adult thermal wear listings from AJIO on 14 October 2026 and grouped them by the label on the garment. Four brands belonging to the same house came back with four completely different badge depths: LUX INFERNO at 46% to 58%, LUX VENUS at 44%, all five LUX COZI listings at exactly 10%, and both LUX COTT'S WOOL listings at exactly 5%. The sharpest illustration is a collision: a LUX INFERNO set and a LUX COZI legging both sell for exactly Rs. 410, badged 46% and 10%. The entire gap lives in the strike-through, which nobody pays.
Every price below was pulled from AJIO on October 14, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our AJIO coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

Rs. 1,099, stated Rs. 1,299, badged 15%, no rating published
Why it earned its spot it is the top of the price range we seated and carries the shallowest non-Lux badge.
First, compare the selling prices of the labels, not their percentages. A LUX INFERNO set badged 46% and a LUX COZI legging badged 10% both cost exactly Rs. 410 here. Second, divide the stated MRP by the price. Across this shelf that multiple runs from 1.05x to 5.57x, so an 82% badge and a 5% badge are describing strike-throughs that differ more than fivefold in how far above the real price they sit. Third, remember there are no ratings to fall back on. AJIO publishes none on any of the 61 listings we read, so unlike a Myntra or Amazon shelf there is no customer evidence to weigh a price against — which makes the price comparison the only tool you have. Fourth, read the pack count in the title. Two listings here sell at exactly the same Rs. 612 against the same stated Rs. 2,549, and one of them describes itself as a pack of three. Nothing on this page was bought, unpacked, worn or tested, and no garment here is assessed for warmth, fibre content, weave or durability.

Each selling price, stated MRP and discount badge here came from ajio.com's own search results, read on 14 October 2026, logged out, in India, with nothing purchased. Three queries returned 178 rows; after removing kids' and infants' lines, 61 are adult thermal-wear listings, and 23 are seated. Every count, median, multiple and range quoted is computed over all 61 adult rows, not over the 23 shown.
AJIO's thermal search mixes children's and adults' garments, and the children's lines cluster at the cheap end. Leaving them in would have dragged every median on this page downwards and made the shelf look cheaper than it is. Listings naming boys, girls, kids or infants, and the kidswear labels in the result set, were removed before any figure here was calculated.
We grouped every listing by the label printed on it and read the badge column. LUX INFERNO: 10 listings, 46% to 58%. LUX VENUS: one, 44%. LUX COZI: five, every one exactly 10%. LUX COTT'S WOOL: two, both exactly 5%. The MRP multiple is printed in the spec strip of every card so the arithmetic can be checked rather than taken on trust.
Not one of the 61 adult thermal listings in this read carries a star average or a rating count. That is what AJIO chooses to display on this shelf, not a failure of our reading. It means there is no customer evidence to weigh anywhere on this page, and we have not substituted ratings from any other retailer. Every card here rests on published prices alone.
Words such as 'super combed cotton rich', 'warmtech', 'anti-bacterial', 'ribbed', 'heathered' and 'thermal' are the listings' own printed descriptions, reproduced as printed. Nothing on this page was bought, unpacked, worn, washed or laboratory-tested, and no product here is assessed for warmth, insulation, fibre content, weave, shrinkage or durability. Pack counts quoted are the listings' own stated counts divided into their own prices.
Across the 61 adult thermal listings we read on 14 October 2026, the median selling price is Rs. 607 and the range runs from Rs. 246 to Rs. 1,452. The cheapest is a Trampoline set at Rs. 246; the dearest seated here is a Decathlon top at Rs. 1,099. The median advertised discount is 52%. Figures read 14 October 2026 and subject to change.
Because the Lux group sells under several labels and each one is badged differently on the same shelf. In this read: LUX INFERNO's ten listings are badged 46% to 58%; the single LUX VENUS listing is badged 44%; all five LUX COZI listings are badged exactly 10%; and both LUX COTT'S WOOL listings are badged exactly 5%. The COZI listings span Rs. 387 to Rs. 1,179 — a 3.0-fold price range — and the percentage does not move by a single point across any of them. The clearest illustration is a price collision: a LUX INFERNO round-neck set and a LUX COZI legging both sell for exactly Rs. 410, badged 46% and 10%. The entire difference is in the stated MRP, Rs. 759 against Rs. 455. We report the figures and offer no explanation for the pricing strategy behind them.
Not on this shelf, and we checked rather than assuming. Five BEACH CURVE listings print the identical stated MRP of Rs. 1,509 and sell at Rs. 299, Rs. 306, Rs. 314, Rs. 336 and Rs. 404 — badged 80%, 80%, 79%, 78% and 73%. One strike-through, five percentages, and the only thing actually changing is the price. Elsewhere a LUX VENUS set badged 44% and a Van Heusen top badged 50% sell for exactly the same Rs. 335. The pattern that does hold is the reverse of the intuitive one: on this shelf the badge generally falls as the price rises. Compare selling prices, and read the stated MRP beside them.
Because AJIO does not publish them on this shelf. Not one of the 61 adult thermal listings in this read carries a star average or a rating count. That is AJIO's own display choice rather than a gap in our reading, and it is consistent with what this shelf has shown on previous reads. The practical consequence is real: on a Myntra or Amazon shelf you can weigh a price against a rating pool, and here there is nothing to weigh it against. Every comparison on this page therefore rests on published prices alone, and we have not imported ratings from any other retailer to fill the gap.
5.57 times the selling price. A Trampoline thermal set sells at Rs. 246 against a stated Rs. 1,369, badged 82% — the deepest badge and the largest multiple in the read. At the other end, LUX COTT'S WOOL sets sell at Rs. 881 and Rs. 906 against stated MRPs of Rs. 927 and Rs. 954, a multiple of just 1.05x and a badge of 5%. That is a more than fivefold difference in how far above the selling price the strike-through sits, on one shelf, read on one day. A stated MRP is the figure a listing prints; nothing here says any of these numbers is wrong.
