BP Monitor Price Amazon vs Flipkart September 2026: Models Compared

We read both shelves on the morning of 24 September 2026 - 90 Amazon listings, 259 Flipkart listings - and six models appear on both. On four of the six, the two retailers are within Rs. 58 of each other; on two of them they are within Rs. 5. Omron's HEM 7124 is Rs. 1,644 on Amazon and Rs. 1,649 on Flipkart. The HEM 7140T1 is Rs. 1,879 and Rs. 1,881. Dr Trust's Professional Series oximeter is Rs. 1,699 in both places, to the rupee.

The one real gap is at the top of the list. Dr. Morepen's BP-02 is Rs. 999 on Amazon and Rs. 1,211 on Flipkart - Rs. 212, or 21 per cent, and it happens to be the most-rated home health device on either shelf. Its sibling, the BP-15, is Rs. 908 against Rs. 966.

This matters because it removes the usual reason to shop around. On a shelf where matched models are within a few rupees, the question stops being which site is cheaper and becomes which site can tell you anything about what you are buying.

This is the number that decides the page. Across the 259 Flipkart listings we read, the median rating count is 6. Across Amazon's 90, it is 681. Put differently: 121 of Flipkart's 259 listings publish no rating at all, against 9 of Amazon's 90.

It is not that Flipkart lacks well-evidenced listings - it has 40 with a thousand ratings or more, and the single largest count on either shelf, 135,615 on the Dr. Morepen BP02. It is that they sit among a very large number of listings with nothing behind them. Amazon's shelf is shorter and far more uniformly rated: 42 of its 90 listings carry a thousand ratings or more.

The practical effect shows up exactly where a cheap shelf is most tempting. 172 of Flipkart's 259 listings are under Rs. 500, against 24 of Amazon's 90 - and the sub-Rs. 500 Flipkart listings are where the unrated ones concentrate. Three curecheck oximeters there sell at an identical Rs. 313 with 1,414, 56 and 39 ratings between them.

Every category median favours Flipkart. BP monitors: Rs. 920 against Rs. 1,214. Pulse oximeters: Rs. 317 against Rs. 854. Weighing scales: Rs. 378 against Rs. 549. The overall median listing is Rs. 500 on Flipkart and Rs. 899 on Amazon.

Above Rs. 2,000 the shelves swap places completely. Amazon has seven listings over Rs. 2,000 and Flipkart has three - and Flipkart's three are weighing scales, not monitors. Amazon's BP monitor range runs to the Omron Smart Elite+ HEM 7600T at Rs. 7,789, with an Omron Smart BP Monitor at Rs. 4,649 and three more Omrons between Rs. 2,379 and Rs. 2,844. Flipkart's entire BP monitor shelf stops at Rs. 1,881.

The same holds for oximeters: Amazon lists a Nonin TruO2 at Rs. 45,021, described in its own title as FDA-cleared, while Flipkart's oximeter shelf ends at Rs. 2,199. We are not suggesting anybody needs a Rs. 45,021 oximeter, and we have tested neither. If a clinician has specified a device type or a standard, Amazon is where the upper end of the market is listed.

Flipkart's advantage is real and it is concentrated under Rs. 1,000. The Control D Homely CPort automatic BP monitor at Rs. 779 carries 4.0 from 19,371 ratings, which is a serious sample at a price Amazon's BP shelf does not reach - its cheapest monitor in our read is Rs. 755 with 440 ratings.

Flipkart also has a thermometer shelf that Amazon's searches did not return at all in our read, and it is the best-evidenced corner of either site: an Ozocheck at Rs. 183 with 15,188 ratings, a Dr. Morepen MT 111 at Rs. 175 with 13,878, a Tata 1mg at Rs. 215 with 10,225 and an OMRON MC-246 at Rs. 289 with 10,650 - the last of these badged 0 per cent off a stated Rs. 290.

What the cheap end costs you is visibility. Flipkart's weighing scale shelf is 67 listings of which the great majority publish nothing, including one at Rs. 2,892 that states an MRP of Rs. 16,999. Amazon's scales are dearer at the median and far better rated - a HealthSense at Rs. 1,499 with 45,815 ratings, a GLUN luggage scale at Rs. 240 with 29,803.

Nothing on this page was unboxed, switched on, strapped to an arm, clipped to a finger or stood on, and none of it was checked against a calibrated reference. A rating count is a record of how many people left feedback. It is not a measure of whether a device reads accurately, and we are not qualified to offer one.
