Croma Washing Machine Prices: 21 Models Under Rs. 15,000, September 2026

We read 104 washing machines from Croma's own search results on 3 September 2026. Sort them by format and the same brand sits at the bottom of each list, and it is the one with Croma's name on it.

In semi-automatics, the floor is a Croma 6.5 kg at Rs. 8,090; the next brand is Samsung at Rs. 9,990. In fully automatic top loads, Croma's 6.5 kg at Rs. 12,790 against Whirlpool's 7 kg at Rs. 17,070. In front loads — the format where the gap is widest — Croma's 7 kg inverter is Rs. 23,990 and the next machine in the same format is Whirlpool at Rs. 32,990. That is a Rs. 9,000 step to the first brand name.

This is not unusual for a retailer's own label, but the size of the gap is worth seeing in numbers rather than assuming. What a Rs. 9,000 gap buys in motor warranty, service network or build is not in the listing data, and we did not test any of these machines.

Grouped by brand, the aisle's median discount is 20% — a long way from the 60–80% badges that fashion shelves carry, and a reminder that large appliances are priced much closer to their stated MRP.

Within that, one brand is an outlier. Croma's own label runs a median 38% off across its 16 models. LG's 22 models sit at 18%, Samsung's 21 at 17%, Whirlpool's 12 at 18%, IFB's 10 at 15%. Bosch (35%), Godrej (30%) and Haier (29%) sit in between, each on a much smaller number of models.

So the own label wins on the badge and on the price at the same time. On a fashion shelf those two things usually pull apart — the deep badge sits on the high stated MRP. Here the cheapest machines genuinely are the cheapest, and the percentage is pointing the same way as the rupee figure.

Twenty-one of the 104 machines are under Rs. 15,000, and that band is almost entirely semi-automatic — two tubs, manual transfer, no plumbing. The exceptions are Croma's own 6.5 kg and 7.5 kg fully automatic top loads at Rs. 12,790 and Rs. 13,790.

The largest band, Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 30,000, holds 41 machines: most of the fully automatic top loads on the aisle, plus Croma's own front loads at Rs. 23,990 and Rs. 26,994. Above Rs. 30,000 you are buying brand-name front loads, and above Rs. 50,000 you are mostly buying washer-dryer combinations rather than a bigger washer.

The top of the aisle is a long way up: a Samsung 25 kg Wi-Fi washer-dryer at Rs. 3,31,170 and LG's WashTower combo at Rs. 1,79,990. Those are real listings on the same search, and they are why the aisle's average price is a much less useful number than its median of Rs. 22,592.

The cheapest machine on the entire aisle is a FOXSKY 8 kg semi-automatic at Rs. 4,994, carrying the aisle's biggest badge at 71% off a stated MRP of Rs. 16,990. It is rated 1.0, from one rating.

The pattern repeats through the rest of the deep-discount group. Panasonic's 12 kg semi-automatic at 59% off has no rating at all. Voltas Beko's two machines, at 53% and 46%, carry one rating and none. One rating is not evidence, and a 1.0 score from a single buyer is not a verdict either — but neither is a 71% badge, and on this aisle they are attached to the same machine.

Set against that, the two most-rated machines on the aisle are discounted modestly: Samsung's 7 kg top load at 19% off (4.4 from 121 ratings) and Croma's own 7.5 kg semi-automatic at 26% off (4.6 from 120). If you want a machine other people have actually bought and scored, that is where the aisle's evidence is concentrated.

Rating counts on this aisle are small by e-commerce standards — the busiest machine has 121 ratings, and 53 of the 104 models have none at all. That is normal for large appliances, which sell in far lower volumes than phones or headphones, and it means a single review moves a score a long way.

Read with that caveat, the table below is the closest thing this aisle has to a consensus. Six of the eight most-rated machines are Croma's own label, which tells you something about what actually leaves the shelf as much as about quality.

Decide the format first, then the brand. The three formats on this aisle start Rs. 8,090, Rs. 12,790 and Rs. 23,990 apart, and the format decides far more of your price than the badge does. A semi-automatic and a front loader are different appliances, not different price points.

Price the own label against the first brand name in the same format. That gap is Rs. 1,900 in semi-automatics, Rs. 4,280 in top loads and Rs. 9,000 in front loads. Whether it is worth paying is a question about service network and warranty, which the listing does not answer — but it is a much more useful question than which badge is bigger.

Treat a badge with one rating behind it as one data point. The 71%, 59% and 53% listings on this aisle carry one rating, none and one respectively. The machines with 120-plus ratings are discounted 19–26%. And check the return terms before delivery day: Croma's policy is replacement-only, the window is seven days, and damage has to be reported before the machine is used.
