Hostinger's WooCommerce page advertises "From Rs. 799 Rs. 199/mo" and sells exactly two plans. Both of them are plans you can buy from its ordinary web-hosting page at the identical price — and that page has three cheaper tiers this one never mentions.
📅 Update log:
8 November 2026: first published. All plan rates, badges, upfront totals, renewal rates and storage figures read from hostinger.in/woocommerce-hosting, logged out, from India. Comparison figures for the Business and Cloud Startup web-hosting tiers are from Zoutons' read of hostinger.in/pricing on 7 November 2026. A Sale Season promotion offering 2x AI credits was live on both tiers at the time of reading.
Hostinger's WooCommerce hosting page advertises "From Rs. 799 Rs. 199/mo" and "Up to 75% off". We read that page on 8 November 2026, logged out, from India. Everything below is printed on it.
Two things are worth knowing before you click Choose plan. The first is that the page sells only two plans, and both of them are plans you can also buy from Hostinger's ordinary web-hosting page at exactly the same price. The second is what each one renews at.
The two plans, as the page prints them
| Plan | Badge | List a month | Intro a month | Paid upfront (48 mo) | Renews at | Renewal multiple | Storage |
|---|
| Unlimited | 75% | Rs. 799 | Rs. 199 | Rs. 9,552 | Rs. 649 | 3.26x | 50 GB NVMe |
| Cloud Startup | 65% | Rs. 1,699 | Rs. 599 | Rs. 28,752 | Rs. 1,599 | 2.67x | 100 GB NVMe |
Both plans check out arithmetically. Rs. 199 x 48 months = Rs. 9,552, and Rs. 599 x 48 = Rs. 28,752 — the exact upfront totals Hostinger states. The 75% badge is honest too: 25% of Rs. 799 is Rs. 199.75, and Hostinger charges Rs. 199.
This is the web-hosting ladder's top two rungs, renamed
Zoutons read Hostinger's main pricing page on 7 November 2026, one day before this read. Its Business tier was 75% off Rs. 799, intro Rs. 199, Rs. 9,552 upfront, renewing at Rs. 649. Its Cloud Startup tier was 65% off Rs. 1,699, intro Rs. 599, Rs. 28,752 upfront, renewing at Rs. 1,599.
Every one of those figures matches the WooCommerce page exactly. Here is the Business tier against the WooCommerce page's Rs. 199 plan:
| Field | Web hosting "Business" | WooCommerce "Unlimited" | Same? |
|---|
| Discount badge | 75% | 75% | Yes |
| List price a month | Rs. 799 | Rs. 799 | Yes |
| Intro price a month | Rs. 199 | Rs. 199 | Yes |
| Paid upfront, 48 months | Rs. 9,552 | Rs. 9,552 | Yes |
| Renews at, a month | Rs. 649 | Rs. 649 | Yes |
| Plan name | Business | Unlimited | No |
The only field that differs is the name. The Rs. 199 tier is called Business on the web-hosting page and Unlimited on the WooCommerce page. Cloud Startup keeps its name on both.
This is not a criticism of the plans — WooCommerce runs on WordPress, WordPress runs on shared hosting, and it is entirely reasonable that the same tiers serve both. What is worth knowing is that the WooCommerce page shows you two of Hostinger's five tiers and starts the ladder at Rs. 199. The web-hosting page starts at Rs. 69 a month for its Single plan. If your store is small, the cheaper tiers exist; this page simply does not mention them.
Before you buy from the WooCommerce page, open hostinger.in/pricing in another tab. Same company, same checkout, three more tiers, and the entry price drops from Rs. 199 a month to Rs. 69. Whether the cheaper tiers suit a store depends on your traffic and catalogue — but you cannot make that call from a page that does not list them.
What each plan actually costs over eight years
| Plan | First 48 months | Next 48 months at the renewal rate | Eight-year total |
|---|
| Unlimited | Rs. 9,552 | Rs. 31,152 | Rs. 40,704 |
| Cloud Startup | Rs. 28,752 | Rs. 76,752 | Rs. 105,504 |
Rs. 199 a month renews at Rs. 649 — 3.26 times. Rs. 599 renews at Rs. 1,599 — 2.67 times. Both renewal rates are printed on Hostinger's own plan cards, which is more disclosure than most hosts offer and the reason this comparison is possible at all.
Cloud Startup is the one to look at twice. Its badge says 65% off a Rs. 1,699 list price, and it renews at Rs. 1,599 — just 5.9% below the list price the discount is measured against. The Unlimited plan renews at Rs. 649 against a Rs. 799 list, 18.8% below. The deeper the first-term discount looks, the closer the second term sits to the undiscounted price.
The eight-year figures above are projections from Hostinger's own published renewal rates, not quotes. Hostinger does not guarantee a renewal rate four years out, and every card says "Cancel anytime".
Rs. 199 a month is not a monthly bill
Hostinger's own line, at the foot of the plan table: "All plans are paid upfront. The monthly rate reflects the total plan price divided by the number of months in your plan."
So Rs. 199/mo means Rs. 9,552 charged today, and Rs. 599/mo means Rs. 28,752 charged today. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee on the page, which limits the risk on that first charge, but it is a four-year commitment being quoted as a monthly figure and the headline does not say so.
Everything else the page states, verbatim or close to it
- Free domain for one year and free website migration on both plans.
- Unlimited websites and unlimited mailboxes per website, free for one year, on both plans.
- 50 GB NVMe storage on Unlimited, 100 GB on Cloud Startup. Daily backups on both; Cloud Startup adds on-demand backups.
- CDN and priority 24/7 support on both plans.
- "Unlimited features are subject to our Fair Usage Policy." That sentence is on the page and is worth reading before relying on the word unlimited.
- 30-day money-back guarantee, stated twice on the page.
- A Sale Season promotion was live at the time of reading, offering 2x AI credits — 1,000 instead of 500 on Unlimited, 2,000 instead of 1,000 on Cloud Startup. Promotions change; the plan prices above are what was shown on 8 November 2026.
- The page carries a "Recommended by WordPress.org" badge. That is Hostinger's claim, reproduced here, and not something this page verified.
What we would actually do
The short version
If you want the Rs. 199 plan, you are buying Hostinger's Business tier — same price, same upfront total, same Rs. 649 renewal, different name. Buying it from the WooCommerce page or the web-hosting page makes no difference to what you pay.
Check the three cheaper tiers first. Hostinger's web-hosting page starts at Rs. 69 a month; the WooCommerce page starts at Rs. 199 and does not tell you the others exist.
Budget for the renewal, not the badge. Rs. 9,552 today becomes Rs. 31,152 for the following four years on Unlimited, and Rs. 28,752 becomes Rs. 76,752 on Cloud Startup. Cloud Startup's second term is within 5.9% of the list price its 65% was measured from.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Hostinger WooCommerce hosting cost in India?
Read 8 November 2026, the page sells two plans. Unlimited at Rs. 199 a month, badged 75% off a Rs. 799 list, which is Rs. 9,552 paid upfront for 48 months and renews at Rs. 649 a month. Cloud Startup at Rs. 599 a month, badged 65% off Rs. 1,699, which is Rs. 28,752 upfront and renews at Rs. 1,599. Both include a free domain for a year, free migration and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Prices and promotions change.
Is Hostinger's WooCommerce hosting different from its normal web hosting?
On price, no. The two plans on the WooCommerce page match Hostinger's Business and Cloud Startup web-hosting tiers on every published figure — badge, list price, intro price, upfront total and renewal rate. The only difference is that the Rs. 199 tier is called Business on the web-hosting page and Unlimited on the WooCommerce page. The WooCommerce page also shows only two of Hostinger's five tiers, so its entry price reads as Rs. 199 when the web-hosting page starts at Rs. 69.
What does Hostinger WooCommerce hosting renew at?
Unlimited renews at Rs. 649 a month, which is 3.26 times its Rs. 199 intro rate. Cloud Startup renews at Rs. 1,599, which is 2.67 times its Rs. 599. Both figures are printed on Hostinger's own plan cards. Cloud Startup's renewal sits just 5.9% below the Rs. 1,699 list price its 65% badge is measured against, so the second term is very nearly the undiscounted rate. Over two consecutive 48-month terms the totals come to Rs. 40,704 and Rs. 105,504 — projections from Hostinger's published renewal rates, not quotes.
Is Rs. 199 a month billed monthly?
No. Hostinger's own line on the page: "All plans are paid upfront. The monthly rate reflects the total plan price divided by the number of months in your plan." Rs. 199/mo means Rs. 9,552 charged today for a 48-month term, and Rs. 599/mo means Rs. 28,752. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee on both, which limits the risk on that first charge.
Does Hostinger's "unlimited websites" really mean unlimited?
The page says unlimited websites and unlimited mailboxes per website on both plans — and it also carries the line "Unlimited features are subject to our Fair Usage Policy." Read that policy before relying on the word. The concrete, numbered limits on these two plans are the storage figures: 50 GB NVMe on Unlimited and 100 GB on Cloud Startup. This page did not test any performance or capacity claim.
Prices & codes last verified: November 8, 2026
Every plan rate, discount badge, upfront total, renewal rate and storage figure on this page was read from Hostinger's own WooCommerce hosting page on 8 November 2026, logged out, from India, with nothing purchased and no coupon applied. The intro rate multiplied by 48 months equals the stated upfront total on both plans, which we checked. The comparison against Hostinger's Business and Cloud Startup web-hosting tiers uses figures Zoutons read from hostinger.in/pricing on 7 November 2026 — one day earlier, so a price change between the two reads cannot be ruled out, though all eight figures matched exactly. The eight-year totals are projections from Hostinger's own published renewal rates, not quotes; Hostinger does not guarantee a renewal rate four years ahead and every plan card states "Cancel anytime". Nothing here alleges that any list price or discount badge is false — Hostinger prints its renewal rate on the same card as its headline rate, which is more disclosure than most hosts offer, and this page is an argument for reading it. The "Recommended by WordPress.org" badge and the performance, capacity and "unlimited" claims on the page are Hostinger's own and were not tested. Hosting prices and promotions change; this reflects one day's reading.
