Hostinger advertises cPanel hosting from Rs. 599 a month. It charges Rs. 14,376 today. Both figures are on the same page, and so is the renewal rate — which on one of the four plans is more than double the intro price.

Hostinger advertises cPanel hosting in India from Rs. 599 a month. Two things about that number are worth knowing before you click through, and Hostinger prints both of them on the same page.
The first is that nothing here is billed monthly. Under the plan grid Hostinger says so itself: "All plans are paid upfront. The monthly rate reflects the total plan price divided by the number of months in your plan." The Rs. 599 plan charges Rs. 14,376 today, for 24 months.
The second is that the cPanel licence is not part of the price. Hostinger's own FAQ on this page, asked directly whether the licence is included, answers by linking to a support article on how to purchase a control panel licence for your VPS.
Everything below is read from hostinger.in/cpanel-hosting on 8 November 2026, logged out, from India, with nothing bought.
cPanel hosting here is VPS hosting. The four plans on this page are Hostinger's KVM virtual private servers — the same KVM 1 to KVM 8 ladder it sells elsewhere — with a one-click cPanel install on top. There is no cheaper shared-hosting cPanel tier on this page, so the Rs. 599 entry is the floor.
The four cPanel VPS plans, as Hostinger prints them
| Plan | What you get | Struck price | Intro rate | Charged today (24 mo) | Renews at | Badge |
|---|
| KVM 1 | 1 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 50 GB NVMe, 4 TB | Rs. 1,649 | Rs. 599 | Rs. 14,376 | Rs. 999 | 64% |
| KVM 2 | 2 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, 100 GB NVMe, 8 TB | Rs. 2,099 | Rs. 779 | Rs. 18,696 | Rs. 1,199 | 63% |
| KVM 4 | 4 vCPU, 16 GB RAM, 200 GB NVMe, 16 TB | Rs. 3,499 | Rs. 1,099 | Rs. 26,376 | Rs. 2,399 | 69% |
| KVM 8 | 8 vCPU, 32 GB RAM, 400 GB NVMe, 32 TB | Rs. 6,199 | Rs. 2,199 | Rs. 52,776 | Rs. 4,399 | 65% |
Read the two right-hand columns together. The intro rate is what the headline advertises; the renewal rate is what you pay from the 25th month, for the same 24-month term, which means the second invoice is also paid upfront as a lump sum.
Hostinger is not hiding any of this. The renewal rate is printed on every card, in the same sentence as the amount charged today. The point of this page is what happens when you line the four cards up next to each other, which the website never does.
The renewal jump is different on every single plan
| Plan | Intro rate | Renewal rate | Increase | Extra per month | Badge shown |
|---|
| KVM 1 | Rs. 599 | Rs. 999 | +66.8% | Rs. 400 | 64% |
| KVM 2 | Rs. 779 | Rs. 1,199 | +53.9% | Rs. 420 | 63% |
| KVM 4 | Rs. 1,099 | Rs. 2,399 | +118.3% | Rs. 1,300 | 69% |
| KVM 8 | Rs. 2,199 | Rs. 4,399 | +100.0% | Rs. 2,200 | 65% |
KVM 4 more than doubles at renewal. KVM 2 rises by barely half. Between them sits a 64-percentage-point difference in how much the price moves, on two plans sold from the same grid, on the same page, on the same day.
And the badge points the wrong way. KVM 4 carries the deepest discount on the page, 69%, and has the steepest renewal increase of the four. KVM 2 carries the shallowest, 63%, and has the gentlest. If you shop this grid by the percentage, you are selecting for the plan whose price rises most.
In absolute money, moving from KVM 2 to KVM 4 costs Rs. 320 a month more today and Rs. 1,200 a month more at renewal. The gap between the two plans nearly quadruples the moment the first term ends.
What the discount percentage is actually measured against
Each badge compares the intro rate to the struck price beside it. But on all four plans the struck price sits above the renewal rate — so it is not the price you pay now, and it is not the price you pay later either.
| Plan | Badge shown | Struck price | Renewal rate | Discount against the renewal rate |
|---|
| KVM 1 | 64% | Rs. 1,649 | Rs. 999 | 40.0% |
| KVM 2 | 63% | Rs. 2,099 | Rs. 1,199 | 35.0% |
| KVM 4 | 69% | Rs. 3,499 | Rs. 2,399 | 54.2% |
| KVM 8 | 65% | Rs. 6,199 | Rs. 4,399 | 50.0% |
Measured against what a continuing customer pays, the real first-term savings are 40.0%, 35.0%, 54.2% and 50.0%. Still substantial — this is a genuine introductory offer, not a fake one — but 24 to 29 points below the numbers on the cards.
Nothing here says the struck prices are false. A company may set a list price and discount from it, and Hostinger may well have charged Rs. 1,649 at some point. The observation is narrower: the number the badge is derived from is not a number that appears anywhere in your actual billing, now or in two years.
Per gigabyte of RAM, the ladder reshuffles at renewal
| Plan | RAM | Intro cost per GB of RAM, per month | Renewal cost per GB of RAM, per month |
|---|
| KVM 1 | 4 GB | Rs. 149.75 | Rs. 249.75 |
| KVM 2 | 8 GB | Rs. 97.38 | Rs. 149.88 |
| KVM 4 | 16 GB | Rs. 68.69 | Rs. 149.94 |
| KVM 8 | 32 GB | Rs. 68.72 | Rs. 137.47 |
At the intro price, KVM 4 and KVM 8 are the same deal to within three paise a gigabyte — Rs. 68.69 against Rs. 68.72. There is no per-gigabyte reason to prefer one over the other; you simply buy the size you need.
At renewal that stops being true. KVM 4 jumps to Rs. 149.94 a gigabyte and KVM 8 settles at Rs. 137.47, so the largest plan becomes the cheapest per unit of memory while KVM 4 becomes the joint most expensive alongside KVM 2. The plan that looks like the best value in year one is the worst value in year three.
KVM 1 is the outlier at both ends, at Rs. 149.75 a gigabyte today and Rs. 249.75 at renewal — the small plan pays a premium for being small, which is ordinary, and worth knowing if you are choosing between KVM 1 and KVM 2 on a Rs. 180 monthly difference.
What four years actually costs
| Plan | First 24 months | Next 24 months at the renewal rate | Difference across the two terms |
|---|
| KVM 1 | Rs. 14,376 | Rs. 23,976 | Rs. 9,600 |
| KVM 2 | Rs. 18,696 | Rs. 28,776 | Rs. 10,080 |
| KVM 4 | Rs. 26,376 | Rs. 57,576 | Rs. 31,200 |
| KVM 8 | Rs. 52,776 | Rs. 1,05,576 | Rs. 52,800 |
On KVM 8 the second term costs Rs. 52,800 more than the first — which is more than the entire first term. On KVM 4 it costs Rs. 31,200 more, an increase larger than the Rs. 26,376 you paid to begin with.
On KVM 1 and KVM 2 the second-term increase is Rs. 9,600 and Rs. 10,080, which is a far more ordinary step. If budget predictability matters more than headroom, the bottom of this ladder behaves very differently from the top of it.
The cPanel licence question, in Hostinger's own words
The page carries an FAQ titled "How to use VPS with cPanel? Is the cPanel licence included in the price?" The answer walks through securing a VPS plan and installing cPanel in one click, and then says: "As for the cPanel license, refer to our tutorial on how to purchase a control panel license for your VPS." It adds that a higher-tier licence makes the server reseller-ready.
No licence price is named anywhere on the page, so this read cannot tell you what cPanel will add to the Rs. 14,376. What it can tell you is that the advertised figure is for the server, and the control panel the page is named after is bought separately. Budget for it before comparing this ladder against a host that bundles a licence.
What to do with all this
- Budget the upfront figure, not the monthly one. The entry plan is Rs. 14,376 charged today, not Rs. 599 a month.
- Write the renewal rate in your calendar now. It is on the card at purchase: Rs. 999, Rs. 1,199, Rs. 2,399 or Rs. 4,399 a month, charged as another upfront lump at the 25th month.
- Do not pick a plan by its badge. The deepest badge on this page, 69%, belongs to the plan whose price rises most at renewal, by 118.3%.
- Add the cPanel licence to your sum. Hostinger's own FAQ sends you elsewhere to buy it, and the page names no price for it.
- If you are choosing between KVM 4 and KVM 8, compare renewal rates, not intro rates. They cost the same per gigabyte today and Rs. 12.47 a gigabyte apart at renewal, in KVM 8's favour.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Hostinger cPanel hosting cost in India?
From Rs. 599 a month on the KVM 1 plan as advertised on 8 November 2026 — but that is billed as Rs. 14,376 charged upfront for 24 months, and Hostinger states under the plan grid that "all plans are paid upfront". The four plans are KVM 1 at Rs. 599/mo, KVM 2 at Rs. 779, KVM 4 at Rs. 1,099 and KVM 8 at Rs. 2,199, with 1 to 8 vCPU cores and 4 to 32 GB of RAM. The cPanel licence itself is not included — Hostinger's own FAQ points to a separate tutorial on purchasing a control panel licence.
What does Hostinger cPanel hosting renew at?
Rs. 999, Rs. 1,199, Rs. 2,399 and Rs. 4,399 a month for KVM 1, 2, 4 and 8 respectively, each for the same 24-month term and each printed on the plan card at purchase. The increases are 66.8%, 53.9%, 118.3% and 100.0% — so KVM 4 more than doubles while KVM 2 rises by just over half. In money, the second 24 months cost Rs. 9,600 more on KVM 1 and Rs. 52,800 more on KVM 8, the latter being more than the entire first term.
Is the 69% discount on Hostinger's KVM 4 plan real?
It is real in the sense that Hostinger genuinely charges Rs. 1,099 against a struck Rs. 3,499. But the struck price is above the renewal rate on every plan, so it is not a price you pay at any point in the relationship. Measured against the Rs. 2,399 renewal rate, the real first-term saving on KVM 4 is 54.2%, not 69%; on the other three plans it is 40.0%, 35.0% and 50.0% rather than 64%, 63% and 65%. This page does not allege the struck prices are false, only that the percentage is calculated from a figure that never appears on your invoice.
Is the cPanel licence included in Hostinger's price?
No. The page's own FAQ, asked exactly this, answers by linking to a Hostinger support article on "how to purchase a control panel license for your VPS", and notes that a higher-tier licence makes the server reseller-ready. The Rs. 599 buys a KVM virtual private server with a one-click cPanel install; the licence is a separate purchase. No licence price is named on the page, so budget for it separately before comparing this ladder with a host that bundles one.
Which Hostinger cPanel plan is the best value?
On the intro price, KVM 4 and KVM 8 are identical value per gigabyte of RAM — Rs. 68.69 and Rs. 68.72 a month per GB — so buy the size you actually need. On the renewal price the order changes: KVM 8 becomes the cheapest per gigabyte at Rs. 137.47 and KVM 4 the joint dearest at Rs. 149.94. For a small site, KVM 1 at Rs. 599 is the floor but carries the worst per-gigabyte rate at both ends, at Rs. 149.75 today and Rs. 249.75 at renewal. No performance claim on this page was tested.
Prices & codes last verified: November 8, 2026
Every price, struck price, discount badge, upfront total, renewal rate and hardware specification on this page was read from hostinger.in/cpanel-hosting on 8 November 2026, logged out, from India, with nothing purchased. Percentages and per-gigabyte figures computed here are arithmetic on Hostinger's own published numbers and the source figures are shown beside them in every table. Nothing on this page alleges that any struck price is false; setting a list price above a promotional price is ordinary practice, and the observation made above is only that each struck price sits above that plan's own renewal rate. The statement that the cPanel licence is purchased separately is quoted from Hostinger's own FAQ on that page, which names no licence price, so no licence cost is estimated here. GST, coupon codes and card offers are excluded. No uptime, speed or support claim was tested and no server was provisioned. Hosting prices and promotional terms change frequently and this reflects one day's reading.
