Mixer Grinder Price Sept 2026: Flipkart vs Myntra Compared

Both shelves were read on the morning of 28 September 2026. Flipkart's 59 mixer grinder listings have a median selling price of Rs. 1,348. Myntra's 32 have a median of Rs. 3,092 - 2.29 times as much.

The discount badges run the other way. Flipkart's median badge is 62%, Myntra's is 45% - so the cheaper shelf advertises the bigger discount, which is the opposite of what a shopper reading percentages would guess. Both shelves are striking through inflated MRPs; Flipkart's median stated MRP is Rs. 3,895 against a Rs. 1,348 price, Myntra's is Rs. 6,000 against Rs. 3,092.

The clearest way to see the gap is the price bands. 51 of Flipkart's 59 listings sell under Rs. 2,000; only 9 of Myntra's 32 do. Eleven of Myntra's 32 sell above Rs. 5,000, against two of Flipkart's 59. These are not the same shelf with different prices - they are two different assortments of the same category.

Median comparisons across two differently stocked shelves only go so far, so we checked which brands appear on both. Six do: Atomberg, Bajaj, Havells, Lifelong, Longway and Nutripro. Four of them list a model whose name matches exactly across the two sites, which makes a genuine like-for-like possible.

The most striking is Atomberg. The same Rs. 6,999 on both shelves - but Flipkart states an MRP of Rs. 10,999 and Myntra states Rs. 11,999, so the badge reads 36% on one and 42% on the other for identical money. Flipkart's listing carries 4,712 ratings; Myntra's carries none at all.

Longway's Roto Max does the same thing at the other end of the shelf: Rs. 1,599 on both, against a stated Rs. 4,239 on Flipkart and Rs. 3,939 on Myntra, producing 62% and 59%. And the exception worth naming: Longway's Super Dlx is Rs. 1,699 on Flipkart and Rs. 1,599 on Myntra - the one matched model in this read where Myntra is cheaper.

Two honest qualifications on that table. First, only the four exact model-name matches - Atomberg, both Longways and the Nutripro Nutri Blender - are true like-for-like. The Lifelong pair differ by an 'LX' in the name and the Bajaj pair are different machines from one brand, so those two rows compare what each shelf offers from that brand rather than one product's two prices. The Havells row is explicitly four different models.

Second, the Nutripro row is the cleanest signal in the whole read: both shelves state exactly the same Rs. 5,000 MRP on the same blender, and charge Rs. 1,599 and Rs. 1,899 for it. Same product, same claimed list price, Rs. 300 apart. That is the only place on this page where the MRP is a genuine constant and the price is the only thing moving.

Flipkart publishes a rating on 58 of its 59 listings, at a median of 3,606 ratings each. Myntra publishes one on 27 of 32, at a median of 450. On a purchase most people make once a decade, that is a real difference in what you have to go on.

But the headline numbers need a caveat, and we would rather give it than let the figure stand unqualified. Flipkart's largest counts are shared across multiple listings. The same 237,619 ratings appear on five separate Longway listings priced Rs. 1,478 to Rs. 1,599; 40,820 appears on two; 69,595 on two; 23,500 on two; 15,661 on two. Flipkart pools reviews across linked listings, so a six-figure count describes a product family rather than the machine in the photograph.

Myntra does the same thing twice, at 1,086 and 633, and that is the whole extent of it on this shelf. So the honest version of the finding is this: Flipkart's shelf has far more published feedback than Myntra's, and its biggest numbers are less informative than they look. Both things are true.

The price gap is mostly assortment, and it is worth understanding rather than treating as one retailer being expensive. Flipkart's shelf is dominated by marketplace labels - Longway with nine listings, HOME SAVER with seven, the store's own SmartBuy with five - selling at a median Rs. 1,348 behind a median stated MRP of Rs. 3,895.

Myntra's is dominated by appliance houses: Sujata with eight listings, Wonderchef with four, Bajaj with four, Havells with three. Those brands sell through shops, carry a real list price, and price accordingly - which is why Myntra's median badge is 45% against Flipkart's 62% while its median price is more than twice as high.

One small but telling difference in how the two shelves describe their stock: all 59 Flipkart titles state a wattage; 27 of Myntra's 32 do. Wattage is the number most buyers use to compare grinders, and on the shelf where everything is cheap it is always stated. We have not verified any stated wattage, and a claimed figure in a title is not a measurement.

If the budget is under Rs. 2,000, the choice makes itself: Flipkart had 51 listings in that band and Myntra had 9. Within that band, the Lifelong Power Pro at Rs. 1,099 and the Nutripro Blender at Rs. 1,599 carry the largest published crowds, with the caveat that both counts are pooled across listings.

If you want a named appliance house, Myntra's shelf is where they are - Sujata, Wonderchef and Preethi barely featured in our Flipkart read - and you should expect to pay around Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 7,000 and to see a smaller percentage on the tile. Check the Atomberg either way: it is the same Rs. 6,999 on both, and only Flipkart's listing publishes any feedback.

What we would not do is choose on the badge. The shelf with the bigger percentages is the cheaper one here, which is the right answer for the wrong reason - and within the matched models, the badge differs by three to six points between sites purely because the two retailers state different MRPs for the same machine at the same price. Nothing on either shelf tells you how long a motor lasts.
