Twenty-two eye makeup listings read on 24 September. On one half of this shelf, 138,629 people have rated a Rs. 149 pencil. On the other, eighteen sellers type the same MRP and nobody has rated anything.
We read Myntra's kajal, eyeliner, mascara and concealer listings on 24 September 2026 - 131 distinct products with a price and a stated MRP. The shelf divides in two, and the dividing line is evidence rather than price. Eighty-one listings publish a rating; fifty publish nothing. The ones with six-figure rating counts wear badges of three to 21 per cent. The ones with the 79 and 62 per cent badges have never been rated by anyone, and eighteen of them declare the same MRP.
Every price below was pulled from Myntra on September 24, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Myntra coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
Six listings under Rs. 150, badged between three and 21 per cent off, carrying between 19,573 and 138,629 ratings each. One pair already shares a pool.
Sixty-seven rupees, a four per cent badge, and 40,922 people have rated it.
Why it earned its spot The cheapest listing seated, and one of the best-evidenced.
The same brand's kajal, at a three per cent badge and a sample of 26,486.
Why it earned its spot Second-cheapest card, same pattern as the first.
A kajal at Rs. 112 carrying a rating pool it does not own alone.
Why it earned its spot The first shared pool on this page.
The other half of the pair: a bigger badge, the same 63,246 ratings.
Why it earned its spot Dearer, better badge, no additional evidence.
MARS at a five per cent badge, with the fourth-largest sample here.
Why it earned its spot A 4.6 average on a sample large enough to mean something.
The largest rating count in this entire read, on a Rs. 149 kajal.
Why it earned its spot More people have rated this than anything else on the shelf.
Seven listings that are really three products. Four Recode kajals at Rs. 99 share 9,557 ratings; two Lakme kajals Rs. 9 apart share 46,215; two RENEE kohls one rupee apart share 1,881.
Ninety-nine rupees, and the first of four listings sharing one pool of 9,557.
Why it earned its spot Opens the clearest shared-pool set on the page.
The identical Rs. 99, now badged half price because the stated MRP is Rs. 199.
Why it earned its spot The badge doubled; the price did not move.
A third Recode kajal at Rs. 99, same 9,557 ratings, nude shade.
Why it earned its spot Shows the pool spans shades, not listings.
Lakme's Eyeconic kajal at Rs. 206, sharing a pool with card 11.
Why it earned its spot The cheaper of two Lakme listings carrying one pool.
The second Lakme Eyeconic listing: smaller badge, same pooled ratings.
Why it earned its spot Seated to show the pair, not to be bought over card 10.
RENEE's mini kohl in brown at Rs. 244 - and in black, one rupee dearer.
Why it earned its spot The closest-priced shared pool in the read.
One rupee more for black, with identical evidence to the brown.
Why it earned its spot The pair, completed.
The best-evidenced listings on the shelf, at MRP multiples between 1.18 and 2.28 - including the only large badge in the read with a real sample under it.
The liquid liner with the second-largest sample on the page, at Rs. 237.
Why it earned its spot Second-biggest sample in the read, on a 4.5 average.
Maybelline's Colossal kajal, the second-most-rated listing in the read.
Why it earned its spot A six-figure sample at a modest badge.
A two-pack at Rs. 241 against a stated Rs. 549, with 10,427 ratings.
Why it earned its spot The only listing here combining a large badge with evidence.
The dearest evidenced listing here: a gel liner at Rs. 552.
Why it earned its spot The top of the evidenced half of this shelf.
The other half of this shelf: near-identical combos under eighteen seller names all declaring Rs. 999, plus the two largest badges in the read - 79 and 62 per cent - on listings nobody has rated.
Rs. 552 from a seller called surebeauty, one of eighteen listing the same combo.
Why it earned its spot Opens the unevidenced half of the shelf.
A second seller, Rs. 20 dearer, identical product text, still no ratings.
Why it earned its spot Shows the Rs. 999 club is a price ladder, not a product range.
Rs. 274 against a stated Rs. 1,299, and nobody has rated it.
Why it earned its spot The biggest percentage on the shelf, attached to no evidence.
Rs. 750 for a palette declaring the highest MRP we seated - with no ratings.
Why it earned its spot The dearest unevidenced listing here.
Rs. 182 for two kajals - cheap, and completely unevidenced.
Why it earned its spot The cheap end of the unevidenced half.
First: read the rating count before the badge. On this shelf the two are almost inversely related - 138,629 ratings sit behind a 21 per cent badge, and the 79 per cent badge sits behind nothing at all. Second: when two listings show an identical rating count, they are one product family in Myntra's system, so if their prices differ take the cheaper one; it carries exactly the same evidence, as the Lakme pair on cards 10 and 11 shows for nine rupees. Third: treat a declared Rs. 999 on an unbranded combo as a default rather than a price - eighteen listings in this read share that number while selling across a Rs. 447 range. Fourth: do not dismiss a three or four per cent badge. Blue Heaven's pencils are the cheapest cards on this page and two of the best-evidenced, and their small badges mean the seller is stating an MRP close to what it charges.

Every selling price, stated MRP, discount badge, rating average and rating count on this page was read on 24 September 2026 from myntra.com's own mascara, eyeliner, concealer and kajal listing pages, logged out, in India, from the window.__myx data those pages publish. 131 distinct listings returned a price and a stated MRP; 22 are seated. Nothing was bought.
Myntra pools feedback across the shades and variants of one product, so an identical count on two listings means one product family rather than two independently rated products. Four sets on this page share pools - Recode at 9,557 across four listings, ELLE 18 at 63,246, Lakme at 46,215 and RENEE at 1,881 - and every card in one says so, with the sibling card named.
For each listing we divide the stated MRP by the selling price. The multiples here run from 1.03 to 4.74. Eighteen listings in the full read declare exactly Rs. 999 while selling at Rs. 552, Rs. 572, Rs. 629, Rs. 701 and Rs. 999, so their badges run from 45 per cent to zero off one identical number. Stating a high MRP is legal and commonplace across Indian retail; we report it and allege no wrongdoing by Myntra or by any seller.
Samples on this shelf run from none at all - 50 of the 131 listings publish nothing - to 138,629. We print the count beside every average and flag the listings with none. A rating pill appears only where a listing publishes an average and at least 20 ratings, which is why five cards here carry no pill.
'Smudgeproof', 'waterproof', '24 hours stay', 'long lasting', 'highly pigmented' and every other description on these cards is the listing's own text, reproduced as printed and not verified. Nothing on this page was applied to skin, swatched, worn or measured, and no claim about wear time, pigment, safety or suitability for sensitive eyes is made or implied.
In our 24 September 2026 read the cheapest eye pencil is a Blue Heaven Get Bold waterproof eyeliner at Rs. 67, badged 4% off a stated Rs. 70, with 4.4 from 40,922 ratings - and the same brand's kajal at Rs. 97 with 26,486 ratings. Cheaper per pencil is an Orgatre set of two at Rs. 182, which works out at Rs. 91 each on the listing's own stated contents, but that listing publishes no rating at all.
Because Myntra pools feedback across the shades and variants of one product. In this read four Recode Pookie kajals, all selling at Rs. 99, all carry 4.4 from 9,557 ratings; two Lakme 9to5 Eyeconic kajals at Rs. 206 and Rs. 215 both carry 4.4 from 46,215; two ELLE 18 listings at Rs. 112 and Rs. 127 both carry 4.5 from 63,246; and two RENEE Midnight Mini kohls at Rs. 244 and Rs. 245 both carry 4.5 from 1,881. The count describes the family, not the single listing - so when a shared pool sits on two differently-priced listings, the cheaper one carries the same evidence.
We can only report that they do. Eighteen of the 131 listings in this read carry near-identical '3 IN 1 With Eyeliner Mascara & Eyeshadow' product text under eighteen different seller names, and every one declares exactly Rs. 999. They sell at Rs. 552, Rs. 572, Rs. 629, Rs. 701 and Rs. 999, so the badge runs from 45% down to 0% off one identical number, and none of the eighteen publishes a single rating. Stating a high MRP is legal and commonplace in Indian retail and no wrongdoing by Myntra or any seller is alleged; it does mean the percentage cannot be compared between listings.
FACES CANADA's Magneteyes kajal with almond oil at Rs. 149, with 4.4 from 138,629 ratings - the largest count in this read, on a badge of just 21% off a stated Rs. 189. Next is Maybelline New York's Colossal kajal at Rs. 295 with 4.5 from 121,617, and for liquid liner, Lakme 9to5 Eyeconic at Rs. 237 with 4.5 from 77,311. All three counts are Myntra's pooled figures across the products' shades.
Not on this shelf. The two largest badges we found - 79% off on a Rs. 274 palette and 62% off on a Rs. 750 palette - both sit on listings with no rating at all, and both declare MRPs of 4.74 and 2.67 times their selling price. The most-rated listings here wear badges of 3%, 5% and 21%. The one exception in our read is a Mamaearth two-pack at Rs. 241 badged 56% off with 4.5 from 10,427 ratings - the only large badge on this page with a real sample behind it.
