Sixty-six tie and cufflink listings read on 27 September. Two groups of sixteen, one aisle, and a seven-fold gap in what the strike-through says.
A tie and a pair of cufflinks do the same job in the same outfit, so it is worth knowing that Myntra's shelves price them under completely different rules. We read 66 listings on 27 September 2026. The four shirt houses posted a median badge of 11% across 16 tiles; five jewellery labels posted 78% across 16. Forty of the 66 listings published no rating at all. The percentage on this aisle is a fact about the seller, not about the accessory.
Every price below was pulled from Myntra on September 27, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Myntra coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Louis Philippe and Peter England account for 16 of the 66 listings we read. Their median badge is 11%, their prices run Rs. 584 to Rs. 1,769, and 13 of the 16 publish no ratings at all.

First: decide what you are buying before you look at a badge. A shirt-house tie will show you 11% and a jewellery-label cufflink will show you 78%, and the gap between those two numbers is about MRP policy rather than about either product. Second: at the jewellery end, read the price alone. Stated MRPs there reach 9.40 times the selling price - Rs. 2,999 on a Rs. 319 pair - so the strike-through cannot be used to compare two listings. Third: treat a rating count as a bonus, not an expectation. Forty of these 66 listings publish nothing at all, and 13 of the 16 shirt-house tiles are among them; the best-evidenced listing on the whole shelf is a Rs. 348 tie with 673 ratings. Fourth: check what is in the box. One Rs. 443 listing here is a tie and a matching pocket square, and it states a Rs. 1,499 MRP - the same figure several single ties declare.

Each selling price, stated MRP, discount badge, star average and rating count on this page was read on 27 September 2026 from myntra.com's own window.__myx payload for the /men-ties-cufflinks, /men-cufflinks and /men-ties shelves, logged out, in India. 66 distinct listings - 34 ties, 32 cufflinks. Nothing was bought.
The 11% and 78% medians cover every listing in each group that the read returned: 16 from the four shirt houses and 16 from the five jewellery labels, seated and unseated alike. The remaining 34 listings come from independent labels and are counted in the shelf-wide figures.
Every percentage and 'x times' figure divides a stated MRP by the price on the same tile. We have not verified that any tie or pair of cufflinks sold at its stated MRP. Stating a high MRP is legal and commonplace in Indian retail and no wrongdoing by any brand or seller is alleged.
'Silk', 'brass', '316L stainless steel', 'silver-plated', 'gold-plated', 'Swarovski', 'premium' and every other material word on these cards is the listing's own printed text, reproduced as printed and not verified. No material, plating, hallmark, fibre, authenticity or durability claim is made or implied.
We can report the pattern rather than the reason. Across 66 listings read on 27 September 2026, the four shirt houses - Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Louis Philippe and Peter England - posted a median badge of 11% across 16 listings, while Peora, LUCKY JEWELLERY, Yellow Chimes, Calvadoss and Curren posted a median of 78% across 16. Nine listings in the read sit at exactly 11% off and all nine come from shirt houses. The difference sits entirely in the stated MRP column: 1.12x the price at one end, 9.40x at the other.
In this read, Rs. 202 for a skinny tie against a stated Rs. 499, with six ratings at 3.7 stars. The cheapest bow tie was Rs. 303 and the cheapest cufflinks Rs. 319. For comparison, the cheapest shirt-house listing on the same shelves was Rs. 584. The whole tie shelf ran Rs. 202 to Rs. 3,200 and the whole cufflink shelf Rs. 319 to Rs. 1,124.
Mostly not. Forty of the 66 listings we read published no star average and no rating count at all - 61% of the aisle, and 13 of the 16 shirt-house tiles. On Myntra's gown shelves read the same morning with the same scraper, 13 of 69 listings published nothing. The best-evidenced listing here is a Rs. 348 skinny tie with 673 ratings at 4.4; the best-evidenced cufflinks are a Rs. 373 boxed pair with 388.
A badge is arithmetic over two numbers the seller chose - the price and the stated MRP - and we have not verified that any pair sold at its MRP. What we can show is the arithmetic. One Rs. 319 pair states an MRP of Rs. 2,999, which is 9.40 times the price; a Rs. 697 pair states Rs. 6,402, which is 9.19x. At the other end of the same aisle, a Van Heusen tie states 1.12x. Stating a high MRP is legal and commonplace in Indian retail, and we allege no wrongdoing by Myntra or by any brand or seller named here.
This page cannot answer that and does not try. We read prices, stated MRPs, badges, star averages and rating counts from Myntra's own listing payload; nothing was bought, unboxed, worn or tested. 'Silk', 'brass', '316L stainless steel', 'silver-plated', 'gold-plated' and 'Swarovski' on these cards are the listings' own printed words. Material, plating, fibre, hallmarking and durability are not published on these tiles and were not examined by us, so no quality comparison between any two products here is made or implied.
