We read 900 listings from Snitch's own product feed on 26 October 2026 and looked at a single number: the gap between the selling price and the compare-at price printed beside it.
On 722 of them there is no gap. The clothes are sold at list price. What is discounted on this site is luggage - all 26 pieces, 30% to 48% off - and sunglasses, all 22 of them cut by exactly 23% to exactly Rs. 999.
📅 Update log:
26 Oct 2026: first published. Every price, compare-at figure, count and percentage on this page was computed from 900 listings read from snitch.co.in's own product feed on 26 October 2026, logged out, from India, over 12 pages of the catalogue. Nothing was bought, no code was applied at checkout and no garment was handled, so nothing here describes cart-level pricing or product quality.
We read 900 listings from Snitch's own product feed on 26 October 2026 - the same data its website renders its price tags from - and looked at one thing: the gap between what each item sells for and what the listing says it is worth.
On 722 of the 900 there is no gap at all. The two figures are the same number. Snitch's shirts, T-shirts, trousers, jeans, overshirts, sweaters, shorts, belts and cargos are, in this read, sold at list price with nothing taken off.

Two departments behave completely differently from the rest of the store. Every one of the 26 luggage listings is marked down, by 30% to 48% - the only category in the read where markdown is universal. And every one of the 22 sunglass listings is marked down by exactly 23%, from Rs. 1,299 to exactly Rs. 999, with no variation across frames, shapes or colours. The deepest markdown on any garment anywhere in the 900 is 20%.
Eighty per cent of the catalogue carries no discount
Grouping all 900 listings by the percentage their own listing data implies gives a very short list. There are eleven discount levels in the entire store, and the largest by a distance is zero.
| Discount level | Listings | Share of the read | Where it appears |
|---|
| 0% — no discount at all | 722 | 80% | every department except luggage and sunglasses |
| 15% | 74 | 8% | scattered across T-shirts, shirts, trousers, jeans |
| 20% | 48 | 5% | same four apparel departments |
| 23% | 22 | 2% | every sunglass listing, all at Rs. 999 |
| 44% | 11 | 1% | luggage |
| 10% | 6 | under 1% | a few apparel listings |
| 37% | 5 | under 1% | luggage |
| 48% | 5 | under 1% | luggage — the deepest cut in the read |
| 46% | 3 | under 1% | luggage |
| 25% / 30% | 4 | under 1% | two shoe listings, two luggage listings |
What this means if you are waiting for a Snitch sale on a shirt: in this read there is no sale on shirts. The compare-at figure equals the selling figure on four fifths of the catalogue, so there is no percentage to wait for - only a price to decide on. The things that are discounted here are suitcases and sunglasses, and the sunglass discount is a single fixed step to Rs. 999 rather than a sale that moves.
Nine hundred listings, fifty-three prices
The second thing the feed shows is how few numbers Snitch actually uses. Across 900 listings there are 53 distinct selling prices, and nine of them account for 718 of the listings. Prices are chosen from a ladder and garments are assigned to a rung.
That is ordinary for a vertically integrated label and it is not a criticism - but it does change how you should shop the site. Sorting by price will not separate much, because 151 listings share Rs. 1,099 and 98 share Rs. 1,899.
| Price point | Listings at this exact price | Mostly |
|---|
| Rs. 1,099 | 151 | shirts and T-shirts |
| Rs. 1,899 | 98 | jeans, trousers, cargos |
| Rs. 1,299 | 85 | T-shirts, shorts, overshirts |
| Rs. 1,199 | 83 | T-shirts, belts, shorts |
| Rs. 999 | 79 | T-shirts, and every pair of sunglasses |
| Rs. 1,799 | 77 | trousers, sweaters, joggers |
| Rs. 1,599 | 59 | overshirts, trousers |
| Rs. 1,699 | 57 | trousers, shoes |
| Rs. 1,499 | 29 | shorts, sweaters, sweatshirts |
| All other prices | 182 | 43 further price points, including the Rs. 7,299 three-piece suitcase set |
The strike-through price here is not an inflated MRP
This is worth stating plainly because it is the opposite of what the same read finds on marketplaces. Where Snitch does show a was-price, the multiple is small: sunglasses are Rs. 999 against Rs. 1,299, which is 1.3 times; the deepest luggage cut, 48%, is a shade under twice the selling price.
And where no discount exists, the feed does not invent one - the compare-at figure is simply the same number as the price rather than a large figure nobody pays. We make no claim about what any item cost at any earlier date; we are describing the two figures each listing publishes today, and the relationship between them.
What to actually do with this
One: judge Snitch garments on the price, not the badge, because for four listings in five there is no badge. A Rs. 1,099 shirt is a Rs. 1,099 shirt. Two: if you want a discount from this store, it is in the luggage and eyewear aisles - 26 suitcases and travel pieces at 30-48% off, and 22 pairs of sunglasses at a flat Rs. 999.
Three: the coupon layer is separate from the price layer. Nothing in the product feed reflects cart-level codes, bank offers or first-order discounts, which is where any further saving on an undiscounted shirt would have to come from. Frequently Asked Questions
Does Snitch ever discount its clothes?
In a read of 900 listings from Snitch's own product feed on 26 October 2026, 722 carried no discount at all - the selling price and the compare-at price were the same number. Where apparel was discounted it was by 10%, 15% or 20%, on a minority of T-shirts, shirts, trousers and jeans. Every overshirt, short, sweater, belt and cargo listing in the read was at full price.
What is discounted on Snitch right now?
Two departments. All 26 luggage listings were marked down, by 30% to 48%, prices Rs. 2,199 to Rs. 7,299. And all 22 sunglass listings were marked down by exactly 23%, every one of them from Rs. 1,299 to exactly Rs. 999. Nothing else in the 900-listing read is discounted universally, read 26 October 2026.
How much does a Snitch shirt cost?
In this read, 225 shirt listings ran Rs. 934 to Rs. 2,230 with a median of Rs. 1,099, and 225 T-shirt listings ran Rs. 599 to Rs. 1,399 with a median of Rs. 1,199. Rs. 1,099 alone is shared by 151 listings across both departments. Trousers median Rs. 1,699, jeans Rs. 1,899, sweaters Rs. 1,799.
Why do so many Snitch products cost exactly the same?
Because the catalogue is built on price points. Across 900 listings there are only 53 distinct prices, and nine of them cover 718 of the listings: Rs. 1,099 (151 listings), Rs. 1,899 (98), Rs. 1,299 (85), Rs. 1,199 (83), Rs. 999 (79), Rs. 1,799 (77), Rs. 1,599 (59), Rs. 1,699 (57) and Rs. 1,499 (29). Sorting the site by price separates very little.
Is Snitch's strike-through price a real MRP?
We cannot verify what anything cost on an earlier date, and nothing here claims to. What the feed shows is that where a was-price appears the multiple is small - 1.3x on sunglasses, under 2x on the deepest luggage cut - and where no discount exists the compare-at figure is identical to the price rather than a large number. That is a different pattern from the 5x-to-7x stated MRPs common on marketplace apparel shelves.
Prices & codes last verified: October 26, 2026
Every selling price, compare-at price, count, median and percentage on this page was computed from 900 listings read from snitch.co.in's own product feed on 26 October 2026, logged out, from India. Nothing was purchased, delivered, handled, worn, washed or tested, and no claim is made about fabric, fit, construction, sizing, colour fastness or durability of any item. The read covers 12 pages of the catalogue and is not a census of everything Snitch sells; items added, withdrawn or repriced after that read are not reflected here, and a variant-level feed lists colours and sizes separately, so "listings" are not the same as distinct garments. A compare-at price is the figure the listing itself publishes; we report it and compare it with the selling price, but nothing here asserts that any such figure is false or improper, and nothing alleges any wrongdoing by Snitch. Selling goods at list price, discounting one department and running a catalogue on fixed price points are all ordinary retail practice, reported as published fact. Prices at the till may differ from feed prices because of coupon codes, bank offers, first-order discounts or cart-level promotions, none of which is visible in the data this page is built from. Prices change without notice - check the live listing before buying. Zoutons may earn a commission on purchases made through links on this page; this does not affect what is written above.
