Udemy Business Course Prices August 2026: PMP, Power BI From Rs. 449

We rendered Udemy's business category from an Indian connection on 30 August 2026 and read every course card that carried a price: 22 cards, 20 distinct courses once the two the page repeats are removed. Every price and struck price below is quoted as the card displayed it.

The first number worth knowing is the spread. The cheapest course on the shelf is Rs. 449 and the dearest is Rs. 569 — a range of 120 rupees across a 35-hour PMP exam-prep programme, a SQL bootcamp, a Tableau course and a one-topic explainer on the EU AI Act. The median is Rs. 479.

The struck-through prices behind them run from Rs. 799 to Rs. 3,959, a range nearly five times as wide as the prices. That gap is the whole story of this shelf, and it is what the discount badges are actually measuring.

Two courses on this shelf cost exactly Rs. 569. Tableau A-Z shows an 86 per cent badge; AI for Business Leaders shows 35. Nothing about what you pay is different. The only thing that differs is the number crossed out beside it — Rs. 3,959 against Rs. 869.

The same pattern repeats at the bottom of the band. A PMP exam-prep course at Rs. 459 carries 86 per cent; an EU AI Act explainer at Rs. 449 carries 44. The cheaper course has the smaller badge, which is the reverse of what a discount percentage is supposed to tell you.

So the practical rule on this shelf is simple: read the rupee price and ignore the percentage entirely. The badge tells you what list price the instructor set, and instructors who have been listing for years sit at Rs. 3,000-plus while 2026 titles start under Rs. 1,300.

Four of the 20 courses carry struck prices under Rs. 1,300, and all four are 2026 AI titles: two Claude Code courses at a struck Rs. 1,239, an EU AI Act explainer and an agentic-AI introduction both at a struck Rs. 799, and AI for Business Leaders at Rs. 869. Their badges — 35 to 64 per cent — are the smallest on the shelf.

That is not a signal about quality. It reflects how long a course has been listed and what list price its instructor chose: a new 2026 title has not been through the years of list-price escalation that puts an established bestseller at Rs. 3,959. If anything, the small badge is the more credible number.

It also means the AI courses are where the price band and the list price are closest together, so a Udemy sale moves them least. If you are watching for a discount window on a new AI course, expect the rupee price to barely move; the courses that swing are the ones with four-figure struck prices.
