We read 59 sweater and cardigan listings from Uniqlo India's own product data on 26 October 2026, with the base price, any promotional price, the star average and the review count on each.

Fifty-nine listings share twelve prices, and twenty-five of them cost exactly Rs. 2,990. Nothing here is priced per garment; the shelf is a ladder, every rung ends in 90, and the fibre decides which rung a jumper lands on.

This is the habit that most distinguishes Uniqlo's shelf from a marketplace one. On 48 of the 59 listings there is no struck-through figure at all - the page shows a price and stops. The other 11 show a second figure, and those gaps are what a discount actually looks like here.
