Twenty-one kitchen containers read on 20 September. Four listings from one seller share a single count of 101,978 ratings at prices from Rs. 173 to Rs. 497 - and the brands you have heard of show the smallest discounts.
We read Flipkart's storage container listings on 20 September 2026 and seated 21 of the 67 that returned a price, an MRP and a rating count. It looks like a well-evidenced shelf - six-figure rating counts on Rs. 200 jars - until you line the listings up. One seller's 101,978 ratings appear under four different products at four different prices; another's 91,259 under four more. The counts are real and the pooling is ordinary marketplace behaviour, but it means the number under a tile is not feedback on that tile.
Every price below was pulled from Flipkart on September 20, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Flipkart coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.
Womens 1st Choice shows 101,978 ratings on four listings from Rs. 173 to Rs. 497, and 3D METRO shows 123,108 on two. The cheapest jar on the shelf has a count that belongs to it alone.
Rs. 159 for a 1,000 ml plastic grocery container with 4,724 ratings - the floor of this shelf.
Why it earned its spot A litre of airtight storage for Rs. 159, with a four-figure sample behind it.
Rs. 173 for a 1,100 ml container showing 4.3 from 101,978 ratings - the same count that appears on three other listings at up to Rs. 497.
Why it earned its spot The opening exhibit: one rating count, four different prices.
Rs. 183 for a 500 ml container showing the identical 101,978 ratings - Rs. 10 more than the 1,100 ml listing above it.
Why it earned its spot Less than half the capacity, ten rupees more, and a bigger discount badge.
Rs. 245 for a 700 ml container with 4.2 from 9,222 ratings - a count that does not repeat elsewhere in our pull.
Why it earned its spot Seated because its rating count belongs to one listing rather than a family.
Rs. 248 for an 1,100 ml container showing 4.2 from 123,108 ratings - the largest sample in the read, shared with a Rs. 416 listing.
Why it earned its spot The largest rating count here, and it sits under two listings at two prices.
MILTON prints 32 and 34 per cent where the shelf around it prints 75 to 88 - and the multi-size sets start, priced like single jars and declared only in the listing title.
Rs. 292 for a 750 ml MILTON utility container - 4.6 from 37,159 ratings, and one of the smallest claims on the shelf.
Why it earned its spot The best average in the read, on a real sample, with a badge under a third.
Rs. 294 for a set of 1,200 ml, 650 ml and 350 ml containers - 4.2 from 23,515 ratings, at 75 per cent off.
Why it earned its spot The first seated listing that is a set rather than a jar - and the title is the only place that says so.
Rs. 295 for a 550 ml container showing 4.3 from 91,259 - a count SARAZA also shows at Rs. 226, Rs. 451 and Rs. 476.
Why it earned its spot A third brand doing the same thing - and two SARAZA listings at the same Rs. 295 with different MRPs.
Rs. 295 for a Flipkart SmartBuy 1,100 ml container - 4.3 from 11,220 ratings, at 70 per cent off a stated Rs. 999.
Why it earned its spot The house brand, priced where the unbranded jars are, with a count that belongs to it alone in this pull.
Rs. 328 for a 1,200 ml, 650 ml and 350 ml set with 4.1 from 40,427 ratings - 77 per cent off a stated Rs. 1,399.
Why it earned its spot Forty thousand ratings and several containers for Rs. 328.
Rs. 345 for a multi-size grocery container set showing 4.2 from 86,016 ratings - shared with a Rs. 500 listing from the same seller.
Why it earned its spot Another pooled count - the same 86,016 appears at Rs. 345 and at Rs. 500.
Rs. 345 for a 1.5 L MILTON utility container - twice the capacity of the brand's Rs. 292 listing for Rs. 53 more.
Why it earned its spot The clearest capacity-per-rupee step from a brand with a real price list.
A 1,100 ml container at Rs. 397 with the same brand, the same stated capacity and the same 101,978 ratings as one at Rs. 173 - and the best capacity-per-rupee figure among single jars, at five litres for Rs. 416.
Rs. 397 for a Womens 1st Choice 1,100 ml container - same stated capacity, same 101,978 ratings, Rs. 224 more than its sibling.
Why it earned its spot Seated purely to be read against the Rs. 173 listing at the top of the page.
Rs. 416 for a 5,000 ml container - the largest single capacity seated here, showing the same 123,108 ratings as the Rs. 248 jar.
Why it earned its spot Five litres at eight paise a millilitre, the best capacity-per-rupee on the page.
Rs. 438 for a 1,500 ml container with 4.4 from 58,468 ratings - the best average among the very large samples here.
Why it earned its spot Four point four across fifty-eight thousand ratings is the strongest combination on this shelf after MILTON.
Rs. 497 for a Womens 1st Choice multi-size set - the fourth listing showing 101,978 ratings, and the only one that is clearly a set.
Why it earned its spot Completes the set of four prices sharing one rating count: Rs. 173, Rs. 183, Rs. 397, Rs. 497.
Rs. 532 for a four-size container set with 4.0 from 15,369 ratings - 79 per cent off a stated Rs. 2,499.
Why it earned its spot A large set at the top of the sub-Rs. 600 band, from a seller whose other listings carry 48 ratings.
Cello's 85,490 ratings at 4.4, twenty-six litres of MILTON for Rs. 680 at the smallest badge in the read, and the one stainless steel listing on the shelf.
Rs. 569 for a multi-size set showing 4.1 from 25,161 ratings - the identical price and count as a second Sentricus listing.
Why it earned its spot Two listings, the same Rs. 569, the same 25,161, the same 43 per cent - and a restrained MRP for once.
Rs. 611 for a cello multi-size set with 4.4 from 85,490 ratings - the best-evidenced branded set on the shelf.
Why it earned its spot A household brand, 85,490 ratings, and a 51 per cent badge off a credible MRP.
Rs. 680 for a MILTON 6 L, 8 L and 12 L set - 4.2 from 15,723 ratings, at 27 per cent off a stated Rs. 930.
Why it earned its spot Twenty-six litres of storage for Rs. 680, and the most restrained MRP in the read.
Rs. 1,873 for a stainless steel utility container - 22 per cent off a stated Rs. 2,399, the only steel listing seated.
Why it earned its spot Three times the price of any plastic set here, and the only material that outlives its gasket.
First: check whether the rating count under a listing also appears under the seller's other listings. On this shelf, four sellers show one count across two to four products at different prices, so a six-figure number can be a fact about a storefront rather than about a jar. Second: read the title for sizes and piece counts before comparing prices - about half these listings are multi-size sets priced like single containers, and a Rs. 500 'set' may be three pieces or twelve. Third: work in capacity per rupee. Twenty-six litres of MILTON costs Rs. 680, five litres of 3D METRO costs Rs. 416, and a 500 ml jar costs Rs. 183 - the spread is enormous. Fourth: treat the badge as arithmetic. The recognisable brands here print 27 to 51 per cent and the unfamiliar ones print 75 to 88, and the prices land in the same place regardless.

Every selling price, stated MRP, discount badge, rating average and rating count on this page was read on 20 September 2026 from flipkart.com's own storage container search results, logged out, in India. 67 listings returned a price, an MRP and a rating count; 21 are seated.
Several sellers display one rating count under multiple listings at different prices - 101,978 on four Womens 1st Choice listings, 91,259 on four SARAZA, 123,108 on two 3D METRO, 86,016 on two RK EMPIRE. That is a marketplace pooling feedback across a product family, and we say so wherever it happens.
About half this shelf is multi-size sets titled '1,200 ml, 650 ml, 350 ml' and priced like single jars. We state on each card whether a listing is a jar or a set, taken from the title as printed, and note where the piece count is not stated at all.
A discount percentage is the gap between a price and an MRP the seller states. MILTON prints 27, 32 and 34 per cent and cello 51, while unfamiliar labels print 75 to 88 off stated MRPs up to Rs. 3,999. We have not verified that anything sold at its stated MRP.
Flipkart SmartBuy is Flipkart's own label, so the platform sets the price, writes the MRP and hosts the ratings. One seated listing is SmartBuy and its card says so.
Capacity in millilitres, 'airtight' claims, plastic type and every durability claim is the listing's own text, quoted as such. We have not tested any of these containers and make no claim about how long a seal stays airtight.
Because the marketplace pools feedback across a family of related listings from one seller. In our 20 September 2026 read, four Womens 1st Choice listings priced Rs. 173, Rs. 183, Rs. 397 and Rs. 497 all showed 4.3 from 101,978 ratings; four SARAZA listings shared 91,259; two 3D METRO listings shared 123,108; two RK EMPIRE listings shared 86,016. This is ordinary and not hidden, but it means the count tells you a storefront is popular rather than that the exact jar in front of you is good.
In our read, Rs. 159 for a 1,000 ml CENTUREUM plastic grocery container, which carries 4.2 from 4,724 ratings that do not repeat elsewhere in the pull. The cheapest set of multiple sizes is the DhaBrij three-size set at Rs. 294 with 23,515 ratings, and on capacity per rupee the best listing on the page is the MILTON 6 L, 8 L and 12 L set at Rs. 680 - 26 litres, or about two and a half paise a millilitre.
Unbranded is cheaper per millilitre; MILTON is better evidenced and states honest MRPs. MILTON's 750 ml jar at Rs. 292 carries 4.6 from 37,159 ratings - the best average in our read - at a 32 per cent badge, while the unfamiliar labels around it print 75 to 88 per cent off much larger stated MRPs. The best-rated unbranded listing is kitchkart's 1.5 L at Rs. 438 with 4.4 from 58,468. For sets, cello at Rs. 611 with 4.4 from 85,490 is the strongest branded option.
We found a clear case in this read: two Womens 1st Choice 1,100 ml containers, one at Rs. 173 and one at Rs. 397, with the same stated capacity, the same 4.3 average and the same 101,978 ratings. The published information does not explain the gap - one may be a multipack whose title does not say so, or they may be different sellers on one brand storefront. The practical answer is to search the brand name and sort by price before buying any listing on this shelf.
They are different purchases. Plastic is cheap and transparent - you can see what is inside, and prices here run Rs. 159 to Rs. 680. Steel does not stain or hold the smell of spices and outlasts any plastic gasket, but the only steel listing in our read costs Rs. 1,873 for a 1 kg container at 22 per cent off - the smallest discount claim on the shelf. On every plastic container here, the seal is what fails first, and no listing states its gasket material.
