Twenty-five diaper packs read on 27 September, priced by the pant. The cheapest is Rs. 5.29 and the dearest Rs. 47.20 - and one product name appears three times at three different rates.
Diapers are bought by the pack and used one at a time, so the only number that compares two packs is the price of a pant. We read 260 Flipkart listings on 27 September 2026 and divided each by the piece count Flipkart prints on its own tile. The rates run Rs. 5.29 to Rs. 47.20. The value labels sit near Rs. 6, the big three near Rs. 9 to Rs. 14 - and one Pampers pack appears three times at Rs. 11.59, Rs. 24.07 and Rs. 26.00 a pant, all sharing one rating count.
Every price below was pulled from Flipkart on September 27, 2026 and checked against the MRP on the listing. Stack them with the live codes on our Flipkart coupons page, which the deals desk re-verifies daily.

First: divide. Every tile prints a price and a piece count, and the rate is the only number that compares two of them. Second: read the piece count, not the pack picture. This page contains a Rs. 649 pack of 56 and a Rs. 1,404 pack of 54 under the same product name - the photographs look alike and the counts do not. Third: use the rating count as a fingerprint. When two listings display the identical rating count, they are one product sold twice, and one of the two is usually much dearer per pant. Fourth: do not chase the badge or the bulk. The biggest badge on this page (62%) sits on a Rs. 5.56 pant and the smallest (6%) on a Rs. 47.20 pant, while tripling an XL pack saves 4% a pant - about Rs. 70 - on a size your child may grow out of first.

Every selling price, stated MRP, badge, star average and rating count on this page was read on 27 September 2026 from flipkart.com's own window.__INITIAL_STATE__ search tiles for five diaper queries, logged out, in India, two pages per query. 260 distinct listings after de-duplicating on Flipkart's own product key. Nothing was bought.
257 of the 260 listings carry a piece count in the tile's subtitle field. That is what we divide by, not the title: several titles read '62 Count/Pack' on a listing whose subtitle says 124 Pieces because it is a combo of two, and using the title would have halved the rate. Three listings without a piece count are excluded from every figure here.
Flipkart displays one rating count across listings that share a product name and size - three 'Pampers Premium Care - M' listings in this read all show 39,677, and two XL listings both show 16,025. We print the figure Flipkart prints and say on the card that it is a pool. It is also the most reliable way to spot one product being sold twice.
Absorbency, softness, leak protection, rash protection and 'premium' wording on these cards is the listing's and the packaging's own printed text, reproduced as printed and not verified. No health, skin-safety, hygiene, fit or performance claim is made or implied, and no diaper here is presented as better for a baby than any other.
In our 27 September 2026 read of 257 listings, the cheapest rate was Rs. 5.29 a pant - a 156-pant small combo at Rs. 826 with 30,981 ratings. Close behind: Rs. 5.56 (75 pants, Rs. 417), Rs. 5.70 (70 pants, Rs. 399) and Rs. 5.72 (80 pants, Rs. 458). The median across all 257 was Rs. 9.66 a pant. These are price facts only - we did not open, test or compare any diaper, and cheapest per pant is not a claim about performance.
On median rate, yes. Across our read: Pampers 64 listings, median Rs. 14.09 a pant; Huggies 69 listings, median Rs. 10.09; MamyPoko 62 listings, median Rs. 9.11. But the ranges overlap heavily - Pampers reaches Rs. 7.36 at its cheapest and Huggies reaches Rs. 31.46 at its dearest - so the brand median will not tell you what a specific pack costs. One Huggies listing here is Rs. 0.09 a pant cheaper than a Pampers one.
Because the same product is listed more than once, and the packs contain different numbers of pants. Three listings named 'Pampers Premium Care Pant Diapers - M' in our read all displayed the identical 39,677 ratings - Flipkart pools the rating count across them - and sold at Rs. 649 for 56 pants, Rs. 722 for 30 and Rs. 1,404 for 54. That is Rs. 11.59, Rs. 24.07 and Rs. 26.00 a pant. The shared rating count is the reliable tell that you are looking at one product, not three.
Much less than you would expect. The clearest ladder in our read was one XL product sold in three sizes: 56 pants at Rs. 9.80 each, 112 at Rs. 9.60 and 168 at Rs. 9.38 - so tripling the volume saved 4% a pant, about Rs. 70 in total. Meanwhile the cheapest rates on the whole shelf came from value-label combos rather than from big-brand bulk packs. Bulk is worth doing when you are sure of the size, not as a discount strategy.
This page cannot tell you and does not try. We read prices, piece counts, badges and rating counts from Flipkart's own search tiles; nothing was bought, opened, worn, weighed or tested. Words like 'premium', 'up to 12 hours absorption', 'rash protection' and 'cottony soft' on these cards are the listings' and packaging's own printed text, reproduced as printed. What suits a particular baby's skin is a question for a paediatrician, not a price page.
