We read 145 Amazon home storage and furniture listings on August 11, 2026 across six searches - office chairs, study tables, bookshelves, shoe racks, storage organisers and wardrobe organisers - and seated 20. In this category the stated MRP is the least reliable number on the page and the badge measures how unreliable it is. A nylon underbed storage bag sells at Rs. 329 against a claimed Rs. 15,999, a 98 per cent badge, on 27,973 ratings. A study table claims Rs. 38,315, the highest figure in the read, on eleven ratings. One chair brand filed eighteen rows against just seven stated MRPs, every one ending in 999, with three different chairs sharing the identical Rs. 9,999 claim. Where the stated price is credible the badge lands between 10 and 28 per cent on its own. The most-rated listing here, with 103,268 ratings, is discounted an unremarkable 50 per cent. We read 45 Croma trimmer, hair dryer and electric shaver listings on August 10, 2026 from the retailer's own product API and seated 20. Two things shape this aisle. The first is that Philips owns it: sixteen of the 45 listings are Philips, and its badges run from 3 to 30 per cent, tightening as the price rises - three per cent off a Rs. 43,549 shaver and a Rs. 19,449 hair dryer, 26 to 30 per cent on everything under Rs. 4,000. Two Philips listings publish the same product name, identical apart from spacing, at Rs. 21,599 and Rs. 43,549. The second is that almost nobody has reviewed anything: four of the 45 listings carry more than forty ratings and all four are hair dryers between Rs. 1,029 and Rs. 1,749, while thirteen listings carry no rating at all and twenty-one carry between one and five. Every listing badged above 50 per cent - including two Dreame dryers claiming Rs. 39,999 and Rs. 44,999 - has no rating history whatsoever. Twenty picks, Rs. 479 to Rs. 43,549.

We read 285 AJIO beauty listings on August 11, 2026 from the retailer's own listing data across skincare, makeup, fragrance and general beauty, and seated 20. On this shelf the discount is set per brand rather than per product. Every one of Minimalist's seven rows is exactly 5 per cent off. All eight Beauty of Joseon rows are exactly 15, all four Pilgrim rows exactly 25, all four MOXIE rows exactly 10 and all four Wet n Wild rows exactly 80. We read beardo.in's own product feed on August 11, 2026 - 524 live handles - and seated 20. On this catalogue the multipack is the discount. The same 50ml anti-grey serum costs Rs. 699 a bottle bought alone, Rs. 550 a bottle in a two-pack and Rs. 333 a bottle in a three-pack, with badges climbing from 13 per cent to 58 as the stated MRP multiplies alongside the quantity. The three-pack even costs Rs. 100 less in total than the two-pack. The tablet aisle gave us 21 rows at a median Rs. 34,999 and a median badge of 26 per cent, and not one row in the whole aisle clears 34 per cent off. The most capable device in the entire read, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 slate, is discounted by five per cent; a gaming laptop is discounted by Rs. 391 and a tablet by exactly one rupee. Beardo's homepage banner announces the Buy 2 Get 2 Free Sale — but the quieter story is what the products already cost before the mechanic kicks in: we read beardo.in's own product feed on July 25, 2026 and found the fragrance wall at 58-71% off (a four-pack of bestselling 50ml perfumes at Rs. 999 — Rs. 250 a bottle), the DON trimmer at Rs. 899, and one-box grooming kits — including a College Fresher Kit priced for exactly this admissions month — between Rs. 899 and Rs. 1,299. This edition applies one discipline throughout: per-unit maths on every combo, protocol honesty on every growth product (months, not days), and a flag wherever the B2G2F mechanic multiplies a pick instead of assuming it applies everywhere. Four chapters: the fragrance wall, beard and growth, hair and hardware, kits and cart-fillers.

We read 114 Amazon power tool and tool kit listings on August 11, 2026 across five searches and seated 20. Eleven of those rows showed a 99 per cent discount, and in every single one the stated MRP is exactly one hundred times the selling price - Rs. 1,599 against Rs. 1,59,900, Rs. 2,200 against Rs. 2,20,000. That is a decimal error in the listing data rather than a deal, and it appears across five different brands including a Bosch listing, so it is not a signal about the seller. At the other end of the wall the pattern inverts: the most-rated screwdriver set in the read, with 23,775 ratings, is six per cent off, and the largest crowd of all, 27,402 votes on a Bosch bit set, sits on a 28 per cent badge. In between sit the drills people actually buy, where the useful distinction is not the discount but whether a machine is an impact drill, a drill driver or a rotary hammer. We read 127 Myntra kidswear listings on August 10, 2026 from the retailer's own listing data across boys' T-shirts, girls' dresses, boys' jeans and general kidswear, and seated 23. The stated MRP on this aisle is a price tier, not a fact about any garment. Twelve rows claim exactly Rs. 799: the cheapest sells at Rs. 243 with a 70 per cent badge and the dearest sells at Rs. 799 with no discount at all. Thirteen rows claim exactly Rs. 1,499, running from a Rs. 349 cotton T-shirt to an H&M sweatshirt charging the claimed number exactly. Four POSHIKHA dresses that are visibly different garments all sell at Rs. 998 against a stated Rs. 2,999. The brands that hold their prices are the ones with shops - all three H&M rows sit at zero per cent, Pantaloons Junior's median badge is twelve and Marks & Spencer's is twenty-five - while the deepest badges we found belong to sellers with no shop and, usually, no ratings. We read 34 Myntra saree listings on August 10, 2026 from the retailer's own listing data and seated 21. The discount column on this shelf has stopped separating anything: nineteen of the 21 sarees here are between 68 and 89 per cent off, and the median badge across all 34 rows was 73 per cent. Over the same listings the Myntra rating runs from 1.8 to 4.6 and the sample behind it from eight people to 8,481, which makes it the only column still carrying information. The clearest pair on the page costs a rupee apart: a KALINI saree at Rs. 460 with 8,481 ratings at 4.3, and a Moda Rapido saree at Rs. 459 with 752 ratings at 3.4 - and the badge ranks the second one higher, at 82 per cent against 74. Two Banarasi listings four rupees apart carry identical stated MRPs and identical 73 per cent badges; one has 156 ratings and a blouse piece, the other has neither. We read 128 Myntra innerwear, lingerie, loungewear and nightwear listings on August 10, 2026 from the retailer's own listing data and seated 23. In this category the discount runs opposite to the evidence. The most-rated listing in the whole read is a Jockey combed cotton brief at Rs. 209 with 52,973 ratings at 4.5, and it is not on sale at all - every one of Jockey's six rows sits at zero per cent off. Levi's, U.S. Polo Assn., DAMENSCH and Pepe Jeans all carry five-figure rating counts and badges between 17 and 31 per cent. The deepest badges on the shelf belong to lingerie labels with no rating history whatsoever: 78 per cent from LUXIORA on zero votes, 70 per cent across all six Mumchief rows on zero votes, and sixteen LoveAasan listings of which thirteen sit at exactly Rs. 758. We read 227 AJIO men's T-shirt, polo and casual-shirt listings on August 10, 2026 from the retailer's own search API and seated 22. The discount here belongs to a promotion slot rather than to a product or even a brand. Nine listings from four unrelated labels - TOGS & TERRE, Alpha Tribe, NEONOMAD and Buda Jeans Co - all sell at exactly Rs. 285 against exactly Rs. 1,499 at exactly 81 per cent, and within that group a polo with a collar and a placket costs the same as a plain crew-neck tee. Three further slots behave identically: five listings at Rs. 280 against Rs. 999 at 72 per cent, six at Rs. 356 against Rs. 699 at 49, and six at Rs. 425 against Rs. 599 at 29. Running the other way, Vastrado holds exactly 63 per cent across eleven shirts at eight different prices, and MAX - a chain with shops in every large city - takes between 10 and 13 per cent on all seven of its rows.
