MakeMyTrip's offers page carried 18 bus offers on 31 August 2026, eleven of them with a code. The four regional codes are one offer wearing four names: MMTNORTH, MMTSOUTH, MMTWEST and MMTEAST all give a flat 8 per cent, expiring 30 December, and differ only in the states they name. The codes worth hunting are attached to operators — FLIX15 gives a flat 15 per cent on FlixBus, PRIMODAY 10 per cent on Primo buses and RTCNEW 10 per cent on state RTC buses for a first booking, all to 31 December. MMTESCAPE, worth up to Rs. 300 on long-weekend travel, expires on 5 September, and MMTBLACK's flat Rs. 150 off bus tickets does not start until 10 October. None of the cards prints a maximum discount.
AbhiBus's offers page carried 34 distinct offers on 31 August 2026, ten of them restricted to new users or a first booking. The two headline codes are advertised as Rs. 500 off, and AbhiBus's own terms split that in half: ABHIFIRST gives 15 per cent instant discount capped at Rs. 150 plus 15 per cent cashback capped at Rs. 225, while WEDDINGS gives 10 per cent capped at Rs. 250 instantly plus matching cashback. The cashback is credited after the journey, and neither code works on state RTC buses. Eight operator-specific new-user codes pay more at checkout: NAVEEN500 is a flat Rs. 500 on Naveen Transport with no minimum, and SHYAMOLI200, ABHIDNR200 and MAHA200 are flat Rs. 200. Two of them expire within days.
GoDaddy's Indian web hosting page listed four cPanel plans on 31 August 2026 — Starter at Rs. 89 a month against a struck Rs. 299, Economy at Rs. 219 against Rs. 599, Deluxe at Rs. 329 against Rs. 849 and Ultimate at Rs. 399 against Rs. 1,099. Every rate is quoted for the first three-year term, so the real commitments are Rs. 3,204 to Rs. 14,364 over 36 months, and the page publishes no renewal rate at all. The detail that decides the choice is website count: Starter and Economy both host exactly one site, so Economy's extra Rs. 130 a month buys 15 GB, a free domain, free email and a one-year SSL rather than room to grow. Deluxe at Rs. 329 is the first plan that hosts more than one website, at ten, and Ultimate's 25 sites work out to Rs. 15.96 each.
Hostinger's India cloud hosting page, read on 31 August 2026, quotes Cloud Startup at Rs. 599 a month, Cloud Professional at Rs. 899 and Cloud Enterprise at Rs. 1,899, all on 48-month terms paid upfront. The number that decides the cost is underneath: Cloud Startup renews at Rs. 1,599 a month, so four years cost Rs. 28,752 and the next four cost Rs. 76,752. Every plan steps up the same way — Single 4.19 times its introductory rate, Premium 3.01, Unlimited 2.61, Cloud Startup 2.67. What Cloud Startup adds over the Rs. 249 Unlimited plan is headroom rather than storage: 2,000,000 inodes against 600,000, 100 PHP workers against 60, four CPU cores against two and a dedicated IP. Hostinger does not publish renewal rates for the two larger cloud plans.
Amazon's Indian Prime page showed four price buttons on 31 August 2026 — Prime Shopping Edition at Rs. 399 a year against a struck Rs. 499, Prime Lite at Rs. 799, Prime at Rs. 299 a month and Prime at Rs. 1,499 a year. They are only three plans: the monthly and annual Prime buttons share one column in Amazon's own benefit grid, so twelve months of the monthly plan costs Rs. 3,588 against Rs. 1,499 for an identical membership. All three tiers carry unlimited fast delivery, same-day and one-day delivery, the extra 5 per cent on Prime-only offers, early sale access and Amazon Pay Credit Card cashback. The ladder above Rs. 399 buys media only: Lite adds ad-supported video on one device at 720p, and Rs. 1,499 adds five devices, 4K, Prime Music, Prime Reading and Amazon Luna.
Myntra's makeup, skin-care and lipstick listing pages, read on 31 August 2026, returned 95 products priced from Rs. 71 for ANI'S rose water to Rs. 1,080 for a Dr.Aqsa gold facial kit, median Rs. 259. The shelf is really two shelves. Twenty-eight of the 95 are three- and four-piece lipstick multipacks from PERPAA and ForSure, all Rs. 243-271 against stated MRPs of Rs. 747-796, carrying 64-69 per cent badges — and 16 of them carry no rating at all, with 262 the largest rating count in the block. The other 67 listings run a 28 per cent median badge and hold the evidence: Maybelline's compact at 4.4 from 183,239 ratings, Plum's toner at 164,214, deconstruct's sunscreen at 100,894 and a 5 per cent badge. The exception is Blue Heaven's Rs. 399 kit: 75 per cent with 24,760 ratings behind it.
We read Udemy's Indian design and marketing catalogues on 31 August 2026 — the top 20 courses in each. All 40 check out between Rs. 449 and Rs. 669, with medians of Rs. 529 for design and Rs. 569 for marketing. The important detail is the shape of the promotion: 36 of the 40 carry the same 85 or 86 per cent badge, which means the checkout price is a fixed fraction of whatever list price the instructor set, and the badge is useless for comparing courses. The four exceptions are the courses with low list prices, and two of them are among the cheapest at checkout — Marketing Strategies of Consumer Brands shows only 44 per cent off and is the cheapest course here at Rs. 449. Five days earlier the same catalogue ran a flat Rs. 399 price instead.
Amazon is running an Intel Gamers Day storefront — a curated wall of gaming laptops that all share one thing: Intel silicon, from 13th-gen HX chips to the newest Core Ultra 9. We swept the page live on August 28, 2026, opened all 17 listings, and verified every price against its own MRP strike-through. The board runs from a Rs. 87,999 Acer ALG at 41% off to a Rs. 3,59,990 RTX 5080 Zephyrus, with the best-balanced buy — an HP Omen 16 with a 2K 165Hz panel — sitting at Rs. 1,46,990. Laptops selling at list price are labelled exactly that, and ratings appear only where a real crowd exists.
Intel Gamer Days is back on Amazon India from 28 August to 13 September 2026 — and this year the headline is not a discount, it is software: buy a qualifying Intel-powered product during the window and you can redeem two full games free, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and Star Wars Galactic Racer, with redemption open until 31 October 2026. This page explains the dates, which purchases qualify, how the two-game redemption works, and whether you should buy now or hold for the Great Indian Festival.
We pulled Amazon India's popularity-sorted results for smartwatches and fitness bands on 30 August 2026 and read 32 wearables, from Rs. 1,299 to Rs. 18,990. The sharpest finding is a pair of Fire-Boltt listings that both sell at Rs. 1,299 and share one pool of 134,949 ratings: one shows a struck price of Rs. 18,999 and a 93 per cent badge, the other Rs. 2,000 and 35 per cent. The crowd sits at the cheap end — Noise Twist 56,168 ratings, Fire-Boltt Rise 42,293, boAt Wave Call 3 26,594 — while Garmin's Rs. 18,990 Vivoactive 5 has 71. And the badge shrinks as the price rises: 75 to 93 per cent under Rs. 2,000, but 7 to 20 per cent on Fitbit, Amazfit and Noise's premium models, where the list price has to survive outside the listing.
We pulled Amazon India's popularity-sorted air purifier results on 30 August 2026 and read 22 machines priced Rs. 1,299 to Rs. 84,485. This shelf inverts the usual pattern: the customer evidence sits at the expensive end. The WINIX 5500-2 at Rs. 15,998 carries 27,490 ratings at 4.6 and the Coway Airmega 150 at Rs. 16,999 carries 6,532 at 4.7, while the five listings under Rs. 5,000 average between 3.2 and 3.7 and the cheapest, at Rs. 1,299, states neither a coverage area nor a HEPA grade. Coverage runs from 160 to 1,881 square feet and does not track price — a Rs. 8,410 Philips states more coverage than a Rs. 13,990 Cuckoo. One listing carries a broken struck price of Rs. 217 against a Rs. 9,130 selling price, which we flag as a data defect.
We pulled Reliance Digital's air purifier listings on 30 August 2026: eleven results, ten of them purifiers running Rs. 5,159 to Rs. 58,849, and not one publishing a rating. The eleventh is a Philips HU4706 at Rs. 790 carrying the biggest badge in the results, 87 per cent — and it is a humidifier, not a purifier, so we flag it rather than count it. The badge shrinks as the price rises: LG's Rs. 58,849 Puricare is 2 per cent off and Philips' AC3220 4, against 48 per cent on the Rs. 5,159 Honeywell Touch V1. Read against Amazon the same day, the catalogues barely overlap — Dyson and LG here, WINIX and Coway there — and where a model appears on both, the Eureka Forbes 270 is Rs. 9,099 at each while the Philips AC4221 is Rs. 2,052 cheaper on Amazon.
We pulled Amazon India's popularity-sorted water heater results on 30 August 2026 and read 29 machines priced Rs. 949 to Rs. 8,599. The shelf splits into instant geysers of 1 to 6 litres, which suit a sink or a bucket and run Rs. 1,599 to Rs. 4,163 from known brands, and storage geysers of 10 to 25 litres, which is what a shower needs, at Rs. 3,197 to Rs. 8,599. The biggest badge in the pull is 99 per cent, on an AO Smith at Rs. 4,199 against a struck Rs. 4,19,900 — exactly a hundred times the price, which is a units error rather than an offer, and we flag it as such. The crowd sits with the national brands: Crompton's 25-litre has 29,408 ratings at 3.9 and Havells' 3-litre 14,030 at 4.2, while everything under Rs. 2,500 has between zero and seven.
We read 23 laptop and tablet listings from Reliance Digital's own data on 30 August 2026 — 11 tablets and 12 laptops. They do not form one shelf: the dearest tablet sells at Rs. 28,999 and the cheapest laptop at Rs. 38,490, a Rs. 9,491 gap with nothing in it. Tablets run to a median of Rs. 19,499 at a 29 per cent median badge; laptops to a median of Rs. 56,490 at 23.5 per cent. The MRPs are written in two registers: every laptop MRP is a precise figure such as Rs. 58,290 or Rs. 1,00,809, while four tablets state round MRPs of Rs. 40,000, Rs. 35,000 and Rs. 34,000 — and those carry three of the five deepest tablet badges. Lenovo appears six times at badges from 12 to 37 per cent. Not one of the 23 listings carries a rating.
We read 62 cable, charger and power bank listings on Croma on 30 August 2026, and 49 of them carry a customer rating — enough to check the price against the evidence. The cable shelf spans seventeen times, from a Rs. 149 Croma cable to a Rs. 2,549 Apple one, and the ratings do not follow the money: a Rs. 199 Croma Type C to Type C is rated 3.8 against 3.7 for Apple's Rs. 1,599 equivalent. Croma's own label is 28 of the 62 listings, discounts hardest at a 42 per cent median badge against 23 for everyone else, and is rated worst at a median 3.5 against 4.5 — a gap that is not a small-sample effect, since the Croma listings carry more ratings each. Two near-identical Croma 10,000 mAh power banks sell at Rs. 899 and Rs. 920 and are rated 4.0 and 3.3.
