We read 64 discounted products from MuscleBlaze's own page data on July 28 across ayurveda, fat loss, fit foods, pre and post-workout and accessories, and outside the protein aisle the badge has almost no range: everything sits between 3% and 22% off. What does move real money is flavour and pack size, and neither appears on a tile. MuscleBlaze High Protein Oats are Rs. 469 a kilo unflavoured and Rs. 599 a kilo in every flavour we found, a 28% premium, while the badges on those bags differ by seven points. On creatine the same premium is charged invisibly: the 32-serving unflavoured tub and the 30-serving watermelon tub are both Rs. 549 at an identical 21% off, so the flavour is deducted from the quantity instead of added to the price. Two jars of the same chocolate peanut butter both cost Rs. 429 a kilo and show 14% and 4%. And in six categories out of six the larger pack was cheaper per unit while carrying the smaller badge.

We read 60 discounted products from Perfora's own feed on July 28, and the brand discounts the basket and never the thing you rebuy. Every product in our pull at 20% off or more is a multipack or a combination kit; everything you would buy singly runs between 7% and 13%, with seventeen of the sixty sitting at exactly 10%. Nothing at all fell between 14% and 17% except one multipack. That structure matters most on the electric toothbrushes, because the handle is the cheap part. The rechargeable sonic brush is Rs. 2,999 once. A four-bottle combo works out at Rs. 5.00 a ml, a 100 ml single at Rs. 6.99, a 50 ml at Rs. 9.98 and a 30 ml elixir at Rs. 18.30 — and the same elixir in a 100 ml bottle is Rs. 12.00, so buying a third of the volume costs 52% more per millilitre. Halving a bottle from 100 ml to 50 ml costs 43% more, and the 50 ml frequently carries the larger badge of the two, which is the most expensive misreading available on this shelf. The badge does broadly agree with value here, unusually, because Beardo discounts volume — but it breaks inside every chapter: four bottles at one price carry badges of 53%, 53%, 53% and 42%. We have kept body spray, eau de parfum and extrait in separate chapters, since their concentrations differ.

We read 101 discounted products from Nykaa's own listing payload on July 28 across six categories, and the discount depth splits along one line: whether a product is bought because you want it or because you need it. Lipstick averaged 27.9% off across sixteen products and scented body lotion 24.6% across twenty. Sunscreen averaged 13.0% across nineteen, face wash 12.9% across fifteen and face serum 14.4% across fourteen, with shampoo between them at 20.8%. Colour and fragrance are discounted roughly twice as hard as sun protection and actives, because demand that arrives with a dermatologist's reason attached does not need a percentage to convert. The most-rated skincare product in our pull, a cleanser with 418,437 ratings, sits at 10% off; the most-rated lipstick, with 4.26 million, sits at 50%. We print every rating count beside its score, flag the pooling, and print the places the pattern breaks.

Sugar's own product feed on July 28, 2026 carried 225 in-stock products with images and only 78 of them — 34.7% — priced below their stated MRP, which makes this one of the few Indian D2C catalogues where a discount still carries information. We also print the same foundation stick at Rs. 249 and Rs. 599 in two shades, which is what a beauty discount really measures.

SUGAR Cosmetics discounts its multi-product sets between 50% and 73% while its individual products sit at 5% to 50%, which makes this page one question rather than twenty-one: when is a set actually cheaper per item? We did that division on every pick, and on one headline set it collapses completely. The La La Love pack of three is advertised at 67% off for Rs. 899, which works out to Rs. 299.67 a lipstick — and the same brand's single liquid lipstick sells for Rs. 299 on the same website on the same day. Other sets survive the same test comfortably: ten satin matte lipsticks for Rs. 799 is Rs. 79.90 each, and five transferproof bullets for Rs. 799 is Rs. 159.80 each against Rs. 299 for one. Perfora's discounts are small and believable — 12% to 33% — so this page cannot be about a sale, and it is not. It is about mechanism. Nearly this entire catalogue sells one promise, whiter teeth, through four completely different methods that are not interchangeable, and the product pages do not distinguish between them. The purple serum corrects colour optically: purple cancels yellow, so teeth read whiter immediately and the effect fades within hours because nothing about the tooth has changed. The whitening strips carry peroxide, which chemically lightens the tooth and lasts weeks. We read 122 unique in-stock listings across seven Nykaa skincare and haircare categories on July 27, and found something worth knowing before you trust a review count again. Two entirely different sheet masks both display 7,520,141 ratings — the same figure to the last digit. One Clinique hydrator shows 81,847 ratings in both jar sizes. One face wash shows 35,172 in both tubes. Three pairs in one sample means these counts are pooled at range level rather than measured per product, which makes them a signal of how well a line sells and no use for choosing between two items within it. Nothing dishonest is necessarily happening, but a seven-figure badge looks like evidence about a bottle, and it is not. We read 48 unique MuscleBlaze apparel, bag and supplement listings across ten category pages on July 27, and the apparel range turned out to have a structure worth knowing about. Four hoodies carry four different discount badges — 26%, 26%, 22% and 44% — and every one of them sells at exactly Rs. 1,399. The percentage moves only because the MRP above it moves; the price never moves. Three tees all sell at Rs. 999 with an identical 16% badge. The 147 combos and kits carry a median discount of 42%; the 204 single products carry 15%. That gap makes bundling look like the obvious saving on every listing page. So we divided the fragrances by their millilitres, and the gap almost vanished.
